    Bottom Line: Initially a good experience, that went downhill when I tried to cancel the policy.We used The Zebra to help our son find an affordable car insurance policy. The first 6 months were fine, and we renewed for another 6 months.We then got a new used car for my son, and we found that GEICO was cheaper for the policy. It took 5 phone calls and 6 emails to cancel the policy. It took several more emails to get a refund check mailed to us (which they have sent to the wrong address).**************** hold times on the phone to get a policy are short -- just a few minutes. **************** hold times to modify, change, or cancel a policy are literally over an hour. Several times while sitting on hold our call was disconnected. It was only when we blasted them with emails and faxes that they finally cancelled the policy -- although as I indicated they didn't follow instructions and sent the refund to the wrong address.Buyer beware -- service after the sale doesn't exist.Also note that on The Zebra's website they claim a BBB average review of 4. Their current average review score is 2.92. That seems to me to be dishonest and deceptive.

    ***** was PHENOMENAL! She assisted with our families car insurance needs. She was knowledgeable, informative, patient, and kind. She answered my many questions and loves what she does. Her love for her role oozed through the call and would encourage me to share this company and their partners with all I know. I look forward to working with this company again. Awesome service and affordable in comparison to other companies we researched.

    Scam to collect information and provide nothing more than a link that sends you to the "big insurance" company sites to re-enter the information they collected. They say they won't sell your information, right, just like they said they'd get quotes. No proof they sell information but you can safely wager that is precisely what they do. I'm sure they also get kick backs from insurance companies but, as noted, they already provide false information on their site about getting a quote. Do not use them. Just go to the insurance companies. Even worse I know apparently have an "account" on their site for which there is no way, I can find, on their site to request removal of that account and all my information. Under the **** and other laws they should have this on their site , "Right to Delete", but rather you probably have to manually contact them (good luck did not work for me) and never get a reply. Its the *** these companies pull.

    This is a scam company - just sucking in information for resale and not actually helping anyone. They are thinly disguised information brokers. This kind of behaviour should be illegal - they need to tell you right up front BEFORE you enter any info that they do nothing but send you to OTHER companies where you have to enter your information all over again. SCAM

    Didn't actually give any quotes or save any time, they're just mining data. I still had to fill out my info for every individual provider. The Zebra just took my time and info and provided me nothing.

    Garbage, you enter how much information and all you get is click for quote... I can do that myself. your just getting paid for clicks/links. You aren't a real insurance company you're a terrible referral service.

    I will absolutely never use or recommend The Zebra again. I spent over two and a half hours on the phone with them yesterday. They took my money put someone Iv never heard of before on the policy. I cant do anything with the policy because someone Iv never met or heard of before is on the policy and they wont do anything without that person signing the documents. They still have my money and I still dont have insurance. Its the next day and Iv been on the phone with them for 45 minutes and its still not resolved. Im extremely unhappy and frustrated.

    AFTER GIVING all information, it gave only 3 companies with very low profile and then its redirected to other company which asks all infromation again, total shady and scam
