Since August of 2021 l have been calling Shop LC and asking them to remove me from their mailing list. Each time they assure me l am or have been forwarded to the **** that will take care of this. But l still keep getting mailings. Each time l call them they tell me a different area where l am still listed . I have asked them to remove me from every sort of future mailing. But l still get mailings every month and every month l call them. I want this to stop. I don't want to recieve anything at all from them. I have dated each of these mailings as l have rec'd them to show that they are still arriving. Please make them take me off their contact list so l don't receive anything from them at all permanently. Thank youBusiness response

I made multiple purchases with this company and most of them on their budget pay program. I lost my job and immediately reached out to their customer service explaining I would not be able to financially make all the monthly payments and asked if the payments could be combined into one smaller amount until I got back on my feet. I wanted to responsibly pay them and not be delinguent. I explained numerous times I could not pay and all I was told was they could give me one month to pay all of them but then the payments would be doubled. I didn't even know when or if I'd get Unemployment and tried to explain that. I was told that the budget pay has to call me back and they will email them to do so; with no calls back to help me fix this problem. I ******** my account and had to get a new debit card. This new debit card was not EVER used to set up my budget pays. I looked at my new account today funny on the same day they actually tried to contact me about my budget payments they took double payments of all of my budget pays and drained my bank account. Caused it to go negative. I can't pay my rent, lights or bills let alone get food. I did not give them authorization to use that card and they took nearly $1800. People honestly run into tough times and don't purposely set up to s**** a company over and there should be avenues in place to try to help resolution of payment for those who may be temporarily struggling. I called them at the onset to my issue and they did nothing to help me. I read other similiar complaints and see they can use people's other cards. I don't think that's legal but I do not authorize use of that card any further. I am willing to pay what is owed but need one small monthly payment until I find steady work. I would like my money returned that was taken out of an account I never used for budget pay or authorized. I don't think they know what this did to me as I am broke now. I need my money back and a fair resolution I can't help I lost my job.Business response

Someone created an account at ShopLC using my personal email addresss. I immediately notified them that this was not me and asked them to remove my email address from their account. This back and forth has gone on for days. I have emailed and called a dozen times, and this person is still ordering. I am concerned about fraud. It is especially alarming as the price of the goods continues to increase, and these have all been purchased on some sort pay over time system. Is she going to stop paying and they are going to come after me. It is not me, not my address - just my email address. They allowed her to make 6 additional purchases in the last week using my email, despite assurances that they would not. I don't think they are willing to walk away from $$$ even at the risk of fraud to an individual.I would like the account with my email address blocked from using my email address, and I would like my email address wiped from all past orders.Business response

This account was registered in 2016, we are investigating when the email address was added. If any budget pay payments are not completed then the cardholder is the one responsible for payment, it's not based off an email address. The email has been removed from the account and we are currently investigating when the email address was added.Initial Complaint

This is the third time in a month I have won items on their online auction. They have admitted they are having technical issues with this particular problem, but over a month later, the shop lc company STILL allows customers to go through this issue with faulty charges on their credit cards. It has now become a scam to get more money from customers. This THIRD time I won items on their online auction and placed an order for a $30 pendant totaling $47 with S&H. Next thing I know, I am getting an email for charges exceeding $700 for ALL the items in the auction I did NOT select or have that total when I pressed place order. The only thing they can say is oops, we' cancel the order and you lose everything you won bids on INCLUDING the item I wanted. Last night, I won a $43 pendant and when I went to check out it told me the total was $156. This is scamming customers out of money and bids they won on their website!! If they have an issue, they should shut down the online bidding until it is corrected, not scam customers out of items they wanted to buy for the posted WINNING price. I am sure there are plenty of customers that haven't realized the overcharging and are getting suckered out of money on their credit cards. I have now lost three Christmas gifts to people I can no longer get back.Customer response

My credit card numbers along with my phone were stolen. They ordered about $5000 in jewelry from SHOP LC. I was told they couldn't do anything until I returned the items. I canceled my credit cards and sent back the items. I got an email on 10/25 saying my refund was being processed. On 10/27 i got a call from customer care saying they needed the new card number so they could process the refund. Every time I've gotten a refund from anywhere else it's always been refunded back my account with no problems, even if the card is no longer active. I called customer care on 10/28 and gave them the new card number. I was told it was approved and is being processed and i will be refunded within **** days. It's now been 11 days, I just called back and they said it hasn't even been processed yet. They said now, it's going to be another 72 hours to process the return and another 5 business days for me to receive the refund if it gets approved. Meanwhile, I have rent, car insurance, and other bills that need to be paid.Business response

To whom it may concern;Since this comment has been submitted, we have spoken with the client in regards to his concerns of returns and refunds which were recently made. Client did return majority of merchandise in claims that someone had possibly used his card without him knowing and made multiple purchases while also having them sent to his current address. Being the card was compromised client stated we could not refund the amount to the original Method of Payment initially he was not pleased with this being he would have to provide another Credit Card so we could complete a Point Of Sale Refund to the client in the amount of ****** 11/9/2021. When speaking with client 11/12/21 he was satisfied to find we had processed refunds back to the Credit Card he had provided. Client stated he believe he may still be owed more funds but he was unsure of this being he did not have the documentation to see all which was purchased, returned, and refunded. We did send an order history for the customer in case there were any other orders that he had questions about.Initial Complaint

Ok so I purchased a gold miami cuban necklace from shoplc.com on 10/02/21. It was supposed to arrive in 2 business days but didnt show up untill 10/12/21. I told the representative that I wanted to cancel my order right then and there. I also sent an email asking where my item was at. They told me there was shipping delays from their supplier. The necklace arrives and it just looks like junk. I then call shop lc again and tell them I wanna return my order. I was then told I cant return this item because it was a sale item and they were selling off the remaining 5 necklaces! I then told them that no where on the website said no returns. I said I would not have spent over 500 dollars on something that I cant return that was bought off the internet. It was basically a bait and switch scheme. They told me that a banner flashes on the tv every once and awhile. I purchased this necklace online and never saw a banner or any type of notification saying all sales are final!!! They say the necklace has a value of ***** but I'm gonna have it appraised and see what the real value is. I dont even think this necklace is real gold. Looks like junk. My receipt that came with the necklace is the only thing that I have ever seen that says no returns. I will never order from this scam of a company ever again and I hope no one else gets scammed by them either!!!Business response

i Placed an order that I never received. However, Shop LC debited my account without my knowledge. I was busy planning my wedding and packing to move from ******* to *******. However, i started receiving calls from them and I told the gentleman that I never received anything and that's when he alerted me that they had taken payments from my account. However, years later they billed one of my credit cards like it was a new purchase and I contested it and my credit card company handled this. However, !0/27/21 I received a call and rep says they will continue calling until they get the last 11`.96 payment. She said they have taken ***** from me already and I responded that I want my money refunded to me because I never received anything from them and that I have contacted them countless times trying to resolve this matter only to be told higher management will contact me. I refuse to be bullied into paying for something I never got. The apts where I once resided had lots of mail issues and robberies that has been reported to authorities.I'm outraged by this company's behavior. I have never had an issue like this before and have shopped and still shop with other TV channels. My payment history is superb. This matter shoud have been resolved as promised many times from Shop LC reps. I have not and will not shop here ever again. This is ridiculous and i want the harrasssing phone calls to stop!Business response

The item was purchased in 2018 and she had a remaining balance at this time. The most recent call we were making on 10/27/21 was not regarding payment but checking in with the client to see if all concerns had been addressed properly. Resolution: Attempted calling client today 10/28/21 to acknowledge the statement which she submitted to BBB and to inform her we had inactivated the final payment for her and she would not receive any other calls regarding payment. I returned 2 rings and only received a refund for one ring and did not receive a refund for the shipping. I contacted my bank and sent my statement as requested by Shop LC and they keep saying they already refunded me and will not send me the missing refunds.Business response

I got a new phone in 2019 and obviously the # was associated with someone else. I kept getting calls etc from Shop LC. I explained I wasnt whoever that owed them money etc & gave them my name & offered any other info if needed. They said they would update and since then the calls never stop. I changed carriers & took my cell # and the calls are so bad that within 1 day they fill up my voicemail on new iPhone. I have tried repeatedly to stop this but they continue to call from diff #. I have over 500 # blocked. I need my voicemail to be able to leave messages especially from my *********** & family. I do not know what else to do. Because of these excessive ******************* I have missed extremely important calls not related to just personal communication. This place I have no clue who they are has crossed the line. I am leaning now towards harassment. I just deleted the voicemails again but also missed an important message I was waiting on. I am open to any advice.Business response

I placed an order for Tanzanite Ring on 9/22/21 (size 9) from ShopLC on budget pay, my initial payment was $178.75. When ring came to my home, it was the wrong size, it much smaller (felt like it was a size 6). I returned the ring using ShopLC return label indicating in the return notes that ShopLC had sent me the wrong size ring. Item was received to ShopLC on 10/2/21. 10 days later I checked my bank statement, ShopLC only refunded me $127.57. I called customer service today 10/13/21 and was told that ShopLC charged me 25% restocking fee. I do not feel that I should be paying a 25% restocking fee when ShopLC warehouse sent me the wrong size initially. I would like my remaining balance of $44.69 which is the amount that the customer service agent told me is due back to me, he said he had to send an e-mail to someone in the company for approval. I'm writing this because I think it's fraud for them to charge a restocking fee for error by ShopLC for sending wrong size.Business response
