      Purchased an item thru website 8/17/2021. The website made no mention the item was a "clearance" item which means (to them) it is not eligible to be returned. Nothing showed all sales final on the item's webpage, nor while checking out or on my receipt on their website or email confirmation. I returned the items within the allotted 30 day window but I received the items back. When I called, I was told it was a "clearance item" and when I asked where I was told that, he instructed me to watch the **** but I didn't buy this item on TV. But when I did ask where it says that, he said "all sales final" runs at the bottom of the screen-- no where else does it say that. This is deceptive and a very misleading practice and I want my money back. I have attached all info to show this. Item on website, order details, receipt and email confirmation.

      Synopsis Escalation/BBB Follow-Up, client filed a concern with BBB being we refused to accept a return for the documented items stating they were Clearance Event items. Client stated she was not aware of this or she would have not bought two of the item(s) in different sizes, and she stated the stones were both poor quality. She stated to resolve the matter she just wanted to return the documented items.
      Resolution: Spoke with client and informed client she was able to return the items though purchased during Clearance Event as a courtesy. She stated she was pleased with this resolution she plans to mail the items back today 10/21/21. She stated she now understands the Clearance/ASF Policy and she had no other concerns at this time.

      9 days ago I placed an order for a Rhapsody Tanzanite/diamond ring on October 3, 2021. The first payment was immediaately taken out of my bank account in the amount of $330.00. To date it has not shipped, today is October 12, 2021. I have called multiple times to find out why my order has not shipped. The customer service people keep telling me they will e-mail the warehouse but to date no one has contacted me to tell me why my order has not shipped. I tried to cancel my order today through customer service and the agent said she could not cancel because she had to "send an email" to the cancellation team. Just wish they would either send the item I purchased or refund my money back immediately.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.  It took me numerous calls to ShopLC customer service agents and no one could tell me why, when, or if my order will be shipped.  Unfortunately after numerous calls from me, plus an on line chat, the customer services agents could  only "send an e-mail" but would never tell me who they were emailing.  I even left voice messages supposedly on customer service manager voice mails and those messages were never aknowledged regarding my concern about my order.  Eventually I called again seriously frustrated and I cancelled my order all together.  ShopLC should review their customer service policies and practices because ShopLC is quick to withdraw from your bank account and you have to fight hard to get your refund on an order if it does not ship.  *********** states their motto is "delivering joy", but in my case I received "stress and anxiety" about my order that never shipped and gave them ample time to reply to me and/or ship my order.  I would hate for an elderly customer to have the misfortune like the one I experienced with my order that never shipped, then I cancel myself to get my refund.  I'm satisfied that my money w as refunded but I'm still stressed even typing this response about ShopLC.  Thank you for your help BBB.

      I purchased a rope gold necklace from shop lc they told me on the phone the necklace was 5mm wide i go look at my delivery order the necklace they sent me is 3mm wide i asked the person who took my order he stated 5mm wide and the host also said 5mm wide i am a good customer but that is misleading i want the necklace i paid for.

      I placed a order on 08.16.2021 and i never received it The first call was around the first week of september....i was informed that since it had been such a ling time ....they would offer me a store credit....which he kept pushing.....or a refund....i said to him i want my two chains i ordered....but he insisted they no longer had the chains instock....i was not happy....told him to refund my money and hung up the phone I contacted shoplc 3 times concerning my refund Each time i was informed that i would receive my refund within 3-5 business days The 2nd call was made on 09.24.2021 No refund I called on. 09.29.2021 and i asked to speak to a supervisors and i was never connected to one....the female on c.s. rep. ***** leave me on hold claiming to look for a supervisor....after puting me on hold for 3 times....she finally said that they would look into my refund.....i told her that she could do whatever she liked..but i was going to file a complaint with the bbb and consumer affairs

      8/23/21 My wife ordered shoes from this company and didn't like them. She did not receive any paper work with the package. She called to get a return label. After10 days we did not receive a return label so I called and was told that they were not returnable because the package was opened.       i purchased a ring on line from shoplc. i received the ring and had it appraised a week later. shoplc uses IGI rating which is lower than **** I got it appraised and the color and clarity were lower than what was listed on tv. i returned ring stating this info. i got the ring returned saying it was heavily worn and dirty (just came from jeweler) and i couldn't return it because it was clearance. i did not see that on line. they state i purchased from a rep from shoplc and i didn't i ordered on line. so shoplc was accusing me of not being truthful which angers **** called 3 times and did not receive any call back.

      I purchased a wind spinner from this company on July 6. It arrived with a broken part and I immediately contacted them to ask if they could replace the part. I was told I needed to return it. Using their prepaid shipping label, I sent back my item on July 19. For some reason, it sat undelivered or unreceived for a couple of weeks. I contacted them company on August 3 and was told it hadn't made it to their warehouse. I filed a query with the ** and was told they made the delivery on August 18 but I didn't get any notification from the company. I contacted them again on August 21 and was told I would receive a notification within a few hours that my refund was in process. I never received anything. I just contacted them again on August 23 and was again told I would receive a refund in 3-5 business days. The communication from this company is not consistent. I just want my money back.

They advertise certain costly items erroneously, sell used skincare products and block account information thereby preventing tracking. Shoplc has not provided refunds due since December 2020. I AMPLY Communicate irregular issues with my purchases due to a high failure rate in honoring my rights as a consumer, and provision of purchases advertised not received in good condition.. I've received damaged/used or empty parcels . Recent sterling silver necklace purchases were not silver.. *********** never takes action for loss items and fail to honor reimbursement for loss items they ship and severly damaged utems.       I am rejecting this response because:the "Business" (SHOPLC) is once again promoting untrue statements about litigation action. Perhaps they seek to prolong resolution!

      I find the behavior of ShopLC consistent with behavior exhibited when my orders were not processed warranting follow-up by me. Rarely did they proactively describe why items do NOT ship when I inquired, although payment is usually taken before shipment (even when stock items were unavailable).

      I do think there has been sufficient time to resolve my complaint as well as this feedback response. It is a problem that must be addressed when any party engaged in a filed complaint with BBB engage in promoting baseless and untrue statements!!

      I look forward to completion of this process, and for Shoplc to demonstrate resolution of my original complaint by fulfilling the paid orders or reFund. I have not received any details from Shoplc. I have no access to my former account which is deactivated leading to my filing of this complaint to ****** fair treatment and protection of my rights.

      I need to reconcile my file and expect Shoplc to respond in detail re. their actions to my original complaint and the specific individual actions, whether refund or provision of the actual purchased item not received by me initially!

      The company representative continues to blatantly lie dtating I am pursuing litigation!

      I suppose they know their in the wrong and continuously fail to respect consumer rights.
      So, ShopLC tries to present the consumer negatively. This is vrry unfortunate and amounts to the company rep. lying. The character of this individual cones into question for repeatedly making this statement as well as posting multiple charges on my credit card (as demonstrated through to Sept.25, 2021, in my Amex online record while this case is under review.

      There is no need for me to take
      legal action as I continue to trust the BBB process. There is an issue with credibility of the company and its representative however and its failure to nanage seemingly simple problems such as this one, and I can imagine that this type of response may be affecting many consumers who shop with ShopLC!!

      • For example on 11/29 the customer reached in regards to a transaction that was already refunded. In short, it was already addressed.
      • On 11/14 when the client contacted us, she was refunded during her first interaction. We have specified the card (last 4 only) and the amounts that were refunded.

       

      Please confirm receipt of this email. I also want to confirm that I have no issues with this being shared with the customer.  Please confirm if this serves as adequate for demonstrating to the BBB that we have addressed the concerns of the customer as you previously stated we did not fully address it.

      Sheet 2 contains refund that were processed today, many of these were scanned as delivered. However some are too old to formally pull tracking. Others were an opportunity and we make sure to take care of those. In the interest of customer relations a total of ****** has been processed today.

      However, the items and totals are not matchable with the charges they've made since this complaint opened.

       

      Shoplc extracted much more whicj must be returned to me.  I sent information on Budget pay items items which I would've readily paid if my account was not "deactivated" by Shoplc. 

       

      I'm afraid that they are continuing to gain access to my account through devious means. 

       

      These amounts should include an email fully describing the item which the refund is related to.  Their actions are deliverately confusing!

      This company advertises great bargains. They do not mention that the items they put on their auction are used. They are worn and dirty. I opened a package with a necklace only to find hair in the the chain and clasp. It also had broken metal in the front so the pendant wouldnt stay on the chain. That is just one example of the things that were sold to me. There are several more. When I have attempted to contact someone to help me I have been laughed at, yelled at and even sworn at. All because I have used junk instead of the new items I thought I was buying.

First, we DO NOT sell used merchandise on the rising auction. The rising auction is a place where products that *** have low quantity  go. If there is only 1 or 2 of an item left, we cannot air it on the show. But we can sell it on the auction and pass savings to our customers. 

       

      If a product is defective, we are more than happy to accept the return and will facilitate returns that qualify.
