      Unlike ***** ShopLC.com runs rising auctions for their own products without any outside supervision. On 12/19/23 I won an auction for their item ******* a Sleeping Beauty turquoise ring for $30, a ring ShopLC listed as "Est Ret Val: $1,059.99." I routinely pay by ShopLC AutoPay where ShopLC automatically charges my credit card and ships the items. But ShopLC canceled my order, although AutoPay managed to bill for the next eight auctions on the same day that my order for ******* was canceled. ShopLC refused to reinstate my order for ******* and relisted the item. By email, *********** told me to bid for the relisted item and ShopLC would credit me anything over my $30 winning bid. "Iris" had bid at $201 and I managed to push ****' bid to $446 before the ShopLC bidding system refused my further bids. So, **** paid $446 for the ring instead of $201. I again contacted ******** who emailed me that they found and were shipping me another ring at no charge under tracking number **********************. But **** tracks this number as: "Label Created, not yet in system." I eventually spoke to ***************************** on the "backend team," who could not find the item or shipment and told me to pick out a comparable item, call her back, and ShopLC would send me a substitute item at no charge. I left voicemails on 3/6/24 and 3/9/24 at ********'s voicemail but she has not called me back. On 3/12/24, **** said he would forward my inquiry to the "backend team," but nobody responded. On 4/27/24, I spoke with **** who said that ***************************** would have ******** get back to me. That has not happened, and I sent an email on 5/1/24 with no response. ShopLC should not be auctioning items that they will not deliver. In the past, ShopLC has refunded my payments supposedly because of misplacement or damage, but in this case ShopLC canceled my order and immediately relisted it for auction. Unregulated ShopLC auction practice leaves open the opportunity for surreptitious unfair trade practices.

      I am a 4-year customer of ********************** and have many satisfactory purchases.Unfortunately, on April 1st, 2024, I ordered an emerald **** from ShopLC at a price of $2,400. (Order No. SF05876913; item# *******). ShopLC took the full amount on my credit card the same day. Since that day, i have not received the ****. I have called **************** 4 times, each time being told that the **** was a pre-order and will now be shipped shortly (twice) or that i was being issued a refund because the **** is not available (twice). Still no resolution today May 10. (Of note, i have never been contacted by ShopLC about this order, either by mail or by phone despite promises to the contrary; i have had to initiate all the contacts myself.)I want a full refund from ShopLC for this undelivered item.Thank you,

      Purchased ***** gr 950 platinum chain 8/16/23 from Shop LC. Paid for it using Budget *** ***** 5 payments. Total for chain purchase- $1364.02. Chain ordered/rec'd in Aug, 2023. Final ** paid in Dec, 2023. Late Jan/early Feb, removed chain from case & noticed a link was broken. ***** reaching out to Shop LC C/S via phone in Feb, 2024 concerning the broken chain. Left several messages to speak with a C/S supvr or have them call me concerning my broken chain: 2/23/24; 3/1/24; 3/3/24; 3/11/24; 3/19/24; 3/11/24; 3/25/24; 3/31/24. Was finally contacted by ***************************, Shop LC C/S supvr on 4/2/24 to discuss chain issue. Informed her that I wanted to either see about getting the chain repaired or replacing it with one not broken. She informed me that there was 1 chain left, and to send my damaged chain to the warehouse for replacement. I expressed concern with only 1 chain left that it might be sold/gone by the time my chain arrived at the W/H. Said I did not want to lose my chain. She said put "replacement as per ********" on return form and she would take care of it. Send my chain to Shop LC the next day. Rec'd e-mail from Shop LC on 4/12/24 that my refund had been processed. The refund amount was for $1024.36 and included a $339.66 deduction. I'm sure they are calling this a re-stocking fee. Have been trying to talk with *************************** or a supvr in Shop LC C/S on 4/12/24; 4/17/24; 4/23/24. Keep getting sent to voice mail for ***************************, but she has not contacted me. Not only has Shop LC kept my platinum chain, but the refund also processed is less than what I paid for the chain. I want my broken ***** gr platinum chain returned or to be provided with ***** gr of other platinum products. ************************* ************ *******************

      I have had an account for well over ten years maybe even fifteen years or more. I shop on the regular web-site & the rising auction. I try to login to my account today April *********, as I am unable to login I call customer service only to be told they shut my account down due to over bidding on the rising auction. This is indeed an auction website ! The site was designed to bid. If indeed they had a problem with my bidding, why was I given a phone call. I have spent money over the years with them to be treated like c*** ! They take my money very easily without fail, then shut my account down. I asked for a manager& received a huge runaround. I want to return every item I have purchased over the. Last few weeks, I was laughed at. This is despicable! Again they take your money then block your account. I am sure I am not the only one who is dealing with this, is against the law. I am bringing this to the. BBB in hopes the can help people such as myself who have been taken advantage of, they take your money then spit in your face this is unacceptable!

      Please see message I sent to the co: Im writing about my order number BC5MSF05938148.I purchased Rare Find Hackmanite ring item number ******* on 4-11-24. This ring has been on the website for several months, available in multiple sizes with no activity. W/in hours of me purchasing the ring [at a discount] however, when I chkd the website, ALL sizes of this item were sold out.My order did invoice soon after, as expected. However, when I checked the status today, my order had been cancelled which I did not authorize. In addition, there was no explanation given of why ShopLC cancelled my order without permission. I had to call ShopLC to find out that my ring order was cancelled by the warehouse due to being out of stock.A similar situation happened several weeks ago with a different item-Indicolite ring, item number *******. When I purchased it from the website, within hours, ALL sizes were sold out despite it never being aired or advertised. (Fortunately, in that case I did receive the item).Initially, I thought maybe it was just a coincidence w/ the first item that as soon as I purchased it that it became completely sold out. However, when this occurred again with my Hackmanite ring it has raised concerns.-Can you please investigate the odd timing of the sell out of this little known, unadvertised Hackmanite ring? -Who else purchased it on 4-11-24 after me, for it to be sold out without any advertising? -And why there was not enough quantity to fulfill my order, when mine should have been the first to fulfill?In addition, this comes as a request to be the first to receive this item when it comes back in stock, at the original price which I paid for it..Ihave lost this ring (that I have been waiting months to be able to purchase) through no fault of my own.       I am rejecting this response because:

      The voice message that I received was from a customer service agent named ****** (not ******* as above) who offered only an apology (and no answers to the questions that I had asked about the ring which was cancelled by the warehouse).  In addition, there was no offer at all given for a similar item to make the situation right.


      When I returned the call on 4-30-24 to customer service asking for *******, I was told by the agent who answered that she was not familiar with *******, but that she could help me.  When I explained the situation and the response given to the BBB from *******, I asked the agent for a price match on the only other similar item that was apparent on the website.  She stated that she would put in a Ticket requesting a price match which would need to be reviewed by higher level personnel.  She said that I would be contacted within ***** hours with a response.


      After not hearing anything back from ShopLC within 72 hours (5-3-24),I called them on 5-4-24.  Was told by a different agent that the ticket was still under review, and that I should hear something back within 24 hours (which would have been 3:30pm on 5-5-24).  Still no word received from the company after another 24 hours, so I called them back on 5-5-24 (@5:45pm).  I was again told that it would take another 24 hours before hearing from them. 

      ShopLC has so far provided an insufficient response to this matter, and has provided poor Customer Service.

      On February 19th 2024, I won a 10kt gold chain from entering their sweepstakes. I have sent many emails, chatted once and called twice. I've only had an employee tell me it will be shipped on 3 occasions. Every other email gets ignored. Is their sweepstakes a scam? I'm starting to think it is.

      I bought 6 H31343830383235****35H boxs from H333338**363430313231H. It was an accident. I only wanted 1 for $24.99. I called and got a return label, I was not told there would be a restocking fee. I received 5 boxes in one box with no purchase document, afterwards I received one pkg with one box & purchase document. I kept that H31343830383235****35H box and purchase document. The 5 H31343830383235****35H boxes were returned in the same box I rec&#**;d them in. Per phone call I was told there would be a restocking fee. I am protesting the restocking fee per item and/or per box. I emailed H33**3437363432383434H and I rec&#**;d a response of $40 Refund, This is outrageous. The restocking fee costs the same as the item. Restocking fees are criminal. I no longer order from H333231**383632353832H. I tried notifying my credit card company 4 to 5 times before I spoke to ****** who offered a solution that would cancel my credit and cause more inconvenience. The error was mine, paying the bill on time is apparently my additional penalty.

      I purchased several pieces of jewelry within almost 2 months a bracelet broke I went ahead and had it fixed about a week later a gold chain broke then a ring I called to complain and was told it was after the 30 days my reply was I understand but this ******* shouldn't just be breaking her reply was well we didn't send it to you broke did we I then spoke with a supervisor who apologized and gave me a $50 credit I told her I really don't want the credit because I won't be shopping from shop lc again and I will be sending it all back I was told they will not accept anything after 30 days I notified my bank and credit card company and they suggested to get a new card which I did and I did let shop lc know and after a few months went by didn't hear anything from shop lc and just recently they were able to take money from my bank account without having my new bank card information the bank declined to pay then they tried my credit card that didn't work it was declined then they tried a chime card which was declined due to the fact that card has never been activated then they tried an old work debt card which was also declined I called to ask for them to stop trying to get my money the jewerly they are selling is very cheap and not as big as shown on their TV show

      On 3/7/24 I won an auction for $80 +t,s/h (*****) and promptly paid. Order #SF05732941. The item was never delivered. It remained in invoice status for 4 days before I called CS, which I was told theyd inform me in 2-3 days of the issue- they didnt. On 3/13 the same exact item was won again at auction by me, at a cost of $285 (I did not pay this time) so I called CS again after the 2nd auction ended to ask them where my purchased item from 3/7 and why they are auctioning the same item to the public again when they havent fulfilled my order. SLC blamed a warehouse stocking issue. They werent sure if they had any in inventory. Why is SLC running auctions, taking customer money, if they didnt have the items to sell? Dishonest.On 3/14, I received an email they cancelled my order due to lack of inventory and would be refunded. Unacceptable. Complete the transaction or attempt to make it right other than just cowardly sending an email to cancel/refund. This is the 2nd time theyve done this to me.Ive had good experiences with SLC but many bad as well
