My disabled adult child, *****************************, was attempting to get healthcare in **. We moved from MI. ******************** person told her that to get healthcare more quickly, since there were 6 month waitlists, to enroll in a gap plan for vision and dental care, which she did. When we called to check the status of health care, we found the service person was no longer there, that he had never put her in for health care, and that the gap plan was a discount plan for eyeglasses and roadside assistance. They were clearly taking advantage of a vulnerable disabled person to mislead them, and had someone lying to her to suggest that enrolling in this "gap plan" would be an advantage in getting ********* I would like a refund and to have a red flag put on this business.Business Response

We are a third-party administrator (TPA) contracted to handle the billing and remittance of monthly payments for this account. We were not a part of the sales process. I moved to ******* a year ago as a full time business owner. I got in contact with Premier Health Solutions who claimed to be through the marketplace. The representative aggressively forced me into a health and detail insurance plan that didn't meet my needs and every time I would call in to ask questions about the policy they would give me the runaround and not fully answer my questions. When I tried to use my policy to pay for a flu shot I was rejected because CVS didn't recognize the type of insurance. Even when I tried to get a dental procedure, my dentist rejected my policy. This was when I became suspicious. After doing some research, I noticed that I was scammed into a policy thinking that it was under the marketplace.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I want a FULL refund of payments made in 2023 based on the fraudulent information provided to me. I didn't receive the insurance I was promised and I was lied to when asked if your organization was part of the Georgia marketplace. We are small business owners and my wife was looking for help finding a health plan for us online. She found a company that looked like a government company or ACA, so she thought it was legitimate. She called the number and the salesperson talked her into enrolling in a plan that turned out to be some kind of short-term or supplemental insurance, which is not what we need. The agent should have done a proper needs-assessment and should have never recommended this plan. I have not spent several days/hours trying to cancel it and get our money refunded (almost $700). So far, it has not been refunded to our credit card account, and after reading all the other negative reviews, I am worried that this will not be easy to resolve. So far I only have the word of one of the brokers that I will get a refund. There is no documentation regarding the refund other than an email saying I requested to cancel the plan. I also know that Premier Health Solutions LLC will say that this is the brokers fault and not their fault. I dont buy that. They seem to have endless brokers misleading customers and that is on them to fix that instead of perpetuating it by passing the blame. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
While I appreciate the refund, the response fails to address and resolve the root issue: The agent should have done a proper needs-assessment and should have never recommended the plan he sold us. Again, Premier Health Solutions LLC has said in response to other complaints that this is the brokers fault and not their fault. They have full control over who sells their products. This same complaint has been recorded over and over again, and they do nothing about it except pass the buck. The other issue is that it is impossible to identify the actual parent company of the broker. I spend a considerable amount of time trying to do that, and nothing led me to a company that is listed with the BBB so that complaints could be made directly to them. Instead, the companies hide themselves under various parent names, such as nxtlevelhealth.com and DirectHealth.com that cannot be found on the BBB site. Premier Health Solutions LLC should own and eliminate this unfair, misleading, and damaging practice of selling health plans under false and misleading pretenses.

This company is abusing there power and using there technology to commit fraud and crime. I have purchased a health insurance policy and now evey thing has changed. They are refusing to allow me to speak with my agent and not allowing me Acess to the recorded phone call.Business Response

Premier Health Solutions (PHS) is not the company that contacted him or performed this sale. His insurance agent does not work for our company and we do not have access to recorded calls of other companies. I spoke to a sales agent after going on GetHealthCoverage.org. He helped to set me up with a plan, but said he couldn't email it to me first and that I could cancel it later. I was scammed into buying this plan and strong armed by the representative. I got numerous phone calls until I accepted the plan being offered. After agreeing to the plan I received three emails with the plan information, one coming from Premier Health Solutions. I called the contact number multiple times to cancel the plan and the line went silent. There seems like no other way to cancel and I already lost money on this. It seemed legit over the phone, but do not trust this organization. THEY ARE SKETCHY. Please do not trust this company, they are SCAMMERS. I just lost my job and was desperate to find health insurance coverage, shame on this company for tricking people into buying health insurance coverage.Customer Answer

Were so sorry that this person has had trouble with these solicitation calls. Premier Health Solutions (PHS) is not the company that called and solicited her. PHS is a third-party billing administrator (TPA) contracted to handle the monthly billing and remittance of payments for this account, only.The selling agency that is listed on her account with PHS is Nxt Level Health LLC. They are an entirely separate entity and one of their insurance agents performed this sale. As the **** we can inform you that this account was cancelled and refunded November 12. The first contact PHS had with this individual was November 13th. She called into our call center and was informed that the plan was cancelled and refunded and then transferred to her selling agency. Please see documentation attached. As cancellation and refund was the desired outcome, we hope that this complaint has now been resolved. On November 3rd I called to get information on a ***** care plan. They told me that the plan will start in December 2023, after numerous phone calls to this company, any questions i ask , i am not provided with any information and i am not comfortable having my health insurance with a company that cannot answer a single questions. I was charged $264.12 . I kept calling them but was told i could not cancel because my plan was not active yet which doesnt make any sense . they were able to pull my my information but they said they couldnt cancel it and that i had to wait until December 1st to cancel ( which is the date the plan is suppose to start). After calling a few times they gave me the run around, telling me i have to wait a few days as they are "processing it" on November 6th I called again and spoke to ******* who told me that i have already called too many times and that they could not provide me with new information and that i needed to wait. I requested to speak with the manager and she said there were no managers around. I also asked about my refund which she said she had no information on and that was not her department. I asked to be transferred to someone else who could help in that field. and she said no one has information on that. After this experience i am pretty sure this is a SCAM , there's no way no one in that company knew nothing about refunds or payments or cancelling my plan. i demand my insurance that has not started yet be CANCELLED and i demand that i be refunded for a service that has not even started yet. This is a scam. Its short term medical insurance that does NOT meet the minimum requirements of the affordable care act. The agent pretended to be calling from market place. He was NOT. They add on so many monthly wxtras (car rental discounts!?) I tried to cancel and was told to call back in 72 hours. This is not real medical insurance with doctors that accept it. Were very sorry that this person felt misled by their sales presentation. Premier Health Solutions (PHS) is not the company that sold this product. The selling agency on record for this account is Acme ********************** and ********************** ******************** ********************************************************. Complaints about the sales process should be directed to Acme. PHS has no communication on record with this customer, but we do see agency logins on the account history. The communication that occurred was again happening with Acme and not PHS. The role PHS plays on this account is that of a third-party administrator (TPA). PHS is contracted to handle the billing and remittance of monthly payments, only. We had no part to play in the described interactions of this complaint. In our role as the **** we have now cancelled and refunded this account. Please see the confirmations attached. I purchased health Insurence from this company that is not scheduled to take effect until December of 2023 . I do not need this coverage but when I called to cancel They will not give me my money back either . They have been very verbally aggressive when I have spoken to them on 3 occasions .Telling me they need to know where I am getting insurance from in order to cancel a policy that hasnt even taken effect .They have called me 4 days in a row regarding this cancellation, asking for information that I will not provide .Business Response

Were very sorry to hear about this members poor experience with their selling agency. This member was not speaking to Premier Health Solutions (PHS). They were communicating with their insurance selling agency BSA Health Consultants, ******************* *********************************************************************. We had one call to our off-site call center that was transferred to BSA Health. The letter attached is also from BSA Health, not PHS. PHS is a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) tasked with the billing and remittance of monthly payments for this account. This account was cancelled and refunded on October 16th. Unfortunately, the member did not receive notification because the email on file was misspelled. That has been corrected now and notification sent today, October 19th.Refunds take 3-5 days to clear depending on the card issuing banks processing times. I will attach the receipt to this response. Again, we regret the trouble this member had and hope the refund that was placed has resolved this complaint.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution.My bank was able to get my money back for me . The company I filled a complaint on is certainly deceptive in there practices regarding the sale of health insurance . Requiring the use of a particular browser for a particular amount of hours each month in order to maintain coverage was a huge red flag. My situation is settled to my satisfaction .I believe this company should be investigated never the less .They were very aggressive in speaking with me when I contacted them to get my money back myself . I am ceratin that they have taken advantage of other consumers who may not know what avenues are available for protection from such businesses.

I recently had my first born this past Saturday and I did not have time to set up my child with healthcare as my insurance wouldnt go into affect till **** with adding him to it. So in a hurry trying to get insurance to cover his first appointment since you have two days after birth to see a peds for your baby and I did not want to pay the price out of pocket, I went on the internet to find insurance. I type in ******** and this company came up for me and for someone who was not aware of how ******** worked I assumed this was a company that worked with ********. I am first time mom trying to hurry and get insured and thought I was with a trusted company. The person I spoke with said it wiuld be$250 something dollars but when I said I couldn't afford that then it was able to be dropped to $120 which I thought was a deal but I still asked if I could call back and look around and speak tomy husband to which I was pressured in making a decision right then and there because "it was the last day to get insurance" and " these are the only insurance available in the **************** for me" and "I can't lock this price in for you.", and " you can cancel after 2 months". So out of desperation I felt it was a good decision, which of course was before I knew the issues they clearly have based on further investigation. I tried calling twice to cancel and get my money back but no one has answered based on the Managers number I was given. So not only did i have to pay for insurance that no one takes and no coverage at all, I had to pay the $230 doctor visit out of pocket and then my phone was ringing off the hook as soon as the call ended because they sent my information to other insurance companies. I was sold this health insurance plan through the phone and promised a plan that was ****** Health Care but received something that was not only through a totally different provider, but had much less coverage than was promised to me on the phone. After realizing this I have tried to cancel multiple times. My requests all get forwarded through different agencies and it seems like the company just tries to exhaust you before you can even cancel. At this point I have been trying since January to cancel and have never used the plan once.Business Response
