I have been trying to cancel my policy for days after they paid $0 for a medically necessary trip to urgent care. It's impossible to get a human and they do not return phone calls. Had to get my bank to block requests for recurring payment.Review from Debbie M

This is an elaborated SCAM. They promise one thing, and provide another. I was convinced into buying this on premise that i'm getting ******* ******* medical insurance. Every time I called, they said different things. Eventually, they just enrolled me in coverme.gov with wrong information, and got me an upcoming, full premium, ****** **** ****** for much more than what they sold me on. They are never strightforward when I asked them about my medical insurance card. This NIIA BS is a discount network. When I tried to use it at a doctor's clinic, they practically laughed... This is not a medical insurance. I called back the broker, and directly to NIIA too. They said my membership is canceled, but I think I should also cancel the credit card I gave them, just to be safe. I also will file a charge-back with the credit card. They got more than 800$ out of me for nothing!Review from Ontario D

This company is a scam, not to be ridiculous, but I understand the movie, John Q, because the government allows these companies to play with our lives and livelihood with no repercussions: I purchased a health plan with National Association of preferred providers (NAPP) and paid approximately $300 per month for approximately 18 months before I utilized the insurance. When I went into my doctor’s office for an annual Checkup, I was alarmed by the fact that the clerks did not know anything about the organization, never heard of them. Upon purchasing the plan, I was told that I had to tier, yet they did not pay for lab work that is customary for annual checkups. I called the company and was given the runaround, until I called and finally/forcefully (the verbally) I’m ordered them to cancel my plan and stop billing my card. I asked them to send me a paper copy of my plan, and they sent me a packet of advertising flyers, but nothing pertaining to my account or plan. I am now stuck with a labcorp bill that I must pay in spite of the THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS I PAID WITH THEM THINKING I HAD COVERAGE. I wish someone would initiate a class action lawsuit against this company. I would be more than happy to join.Review from Verity H

Medicaid gave me a number for what I thought was the Obamacare exchange in Colorado. I was told it would $150 a month for ***** ***** Health PPO with 30 copay for Dr visits. Then they switched my plan in me. I received a card that says it's a discount card for providers in this network but it's NOT an insurance plan I can't talk to anyone and this is a huge waste of money. My aunt and unclare are even helping me pay the premium but if it's only for discounts to Dr's I can't do that and we can't get in touch with the customer service number or the number I was given to set this up It's a huge scam to do this to people who are desperate for insurance coverageNational Association of Preferred Providers Response

Total Scam. I have been fighting them about an emergency room and hospital stay since 2021. They never responded to the Hospital, myself, or the ********* ******* ** *****. The Hospital has since proceeded to sue me for the emergency room care and subsequent stay. Every time, I mean Every Time, I try and contact them they hang up on me. *** ********* ********* ****** ***** has done nothing as well. I will be suing them in the coming weeks. They should not be allowed to be in business!! Especially when peoples healthcare is at stake. No Stars is the only rating they deserveNational Association of Preferred Providers Response

I was told the same thing in March that I was getting an Aetna plan. I never received any Medical cards and none of my doctors could find them in the system. I would have to call everytime. I am getting huge bills so I know they didn't pay hardly anything on my bills. I also never got a plan . I was told I would have an excellent plan. I also got yelled at because I wanted to cancel the plan.National Association of Preferred Providers Response

In March of 2023 I called a number to get Health insurance. I talked to a lady who sold me the plan with National Association of Preferred Providers. I called shortly after to request an additional health care plan and my cards. They advised me that it was a real plan and health insurance company several times. They did not pay any of my bills . I did not receive the plan so I didn't think I had a deductible. So I have bills. I believe this company owes me a refund like the other people who also complained or did a review. In their response it states they resolved this with me and that is false. I even called them and asked where my refund is , I wanted to know why I didn't receive one and other people did. The guy just wanted to see the complaints about them. So I sent him an email. I believe they are acting like a health insurance company and are not paying any of my bills. They also should not being sold as a health insurance plan.Customer Response

I was told I was getting First Health Aetna PPO plan but instead received a discount program card that specifically says not a health insurance. I specifically said I wanted medical health insurance. My biggest concern is they have all my private information and SS#.National Association of Preferred Providers Response
