I ordered a blind that was not what was as advertised on the website. It came with 70% frame molding and a small blind to insert inside. My window already has frame molding. CSR was surprised that the item was offered with a frame molding. American Blinds offered a remake with only inside track, great solution. Now they advise the product is delayed and will be delayed 45 days, I just want a darn blind, and not willing to wait another 45 days. I want a refund. Told that's impossible, they do not offer refunds. Ask to speak to a supervisor, told that's 4-5 day delay - that's just silly. I want a refund. It would have been faster for me to run to a local retailer. Why bother using online if it's more trouble than going out to the store? I would avoid buying from AB; you're not saving time!

Have ordered 4 inside hang shades for our porch and all were perfect. Perfect fit, easy to hang, look nice and do their job! Customer service even replaced cord that WE had messed up when we unpackaged it. Good company....highly recommend.American Blinds Response

Very disappointed with blind and customer service rep who did nothing for me. Ordered off website, gave exact length and width measurements (as asked) of what I wanted. And blind came over a half inch short in width. Customer service states manufacturer subtracts a half inch when they make!? What??? No where on site does it state that or recommend ordering a half inch larger then what you want! Order # 13190583American Blinds Response

Buyers Beware. I worked with a Design Consultant for an arch window. They will not correct the blind because I entered the information into their website even though the consultant advised me. I specifically asked the consultant if they could accommodate my window and he said most definitely. They will remake the blind at a 20% discount, however I purchased them at 40% discount so I would be paying more money to correct the poor guidance. I am now out $380 and no blind.American Blinds Response

We ordered 21 blinds and 2 plantation shutters. Deliver was great. However, the plantation shutters came with NO hinges or magnets. I called the company. They told me they would send them right out. Well, 7 days later only the hinges showed up. NO MAGNETS! What the heck? All they say is I’m so sorry. We will get those out to you as soon as possible. Now we have to connect everything. What good is it to get your product if it isn’t complete? I would NOT order from here again. Very disappointed. I gave them a 1 star because you have to. But I’d give them a zero if I could.American Blinds Response
