    I bought eight custom wooden blinds from Blinds.com. Seven of the eight blinds needed to be replaced. They have delayed my order twice by a month. The designer failed to recognize that they could not create a long enough valance for my window, so they split it in half, which looks horrible. They refuse to provide me with a refund.

    I got the cordless option. I cannot get the blinds to stay closed in down position. They keep creeping up.

    Thank you for reaching out after my review. I have a new home. I ordered Zebra blinds. I have to pin the ********************** to keep them closed. I have ordered the same type of blinds from other companies. I ordered from this company because of the color. I have no trouble with the other companies.

    No complaints - the 70" one was 1 piece, not the experience some other reviewer had. Easy to install & nice & room darkening. I'll need to hang strips on either side for complete darkness

    If you order a large miniblind (96”), as I did, understand that you'll simply receive two 48” blinds and two separate valances. Nowhere in any of my order-related emails is it stated that two separate valances will be sent. In fact, the illustration of the blind I built—and that was shown to me online—depicts a single valance! I was fine with having two separate blinds; that's what I knew I was ordering. But to have two separate valances pieced in the middle with a seam is unacceptable. In addition, on my order confirmation and on the shipping notice, there is a bold/highlighted section that states my order is "oversized" and a freight company will contact me for delivery. That notice confirmed my understanding that I would be receiving a single valance because the package would be more than 8 feet in length! Not the case! The package was dropped off on my doorstep and not delivered by a freight company. The "oversized" notice was, therefore, misleading. Or more simply, plain false. Customer service did not help and could only talk about the 100% satisfaction guarantee. The rep first told me what I received was incorrect and that she would ask production to have the valance issue fixed. Then she quickly retracted her statement and said there was “no way possible” to get a 96” valance. How absurd; large items are shipped every day across the world without incident. As I was explaining why I felt I had been misled, the call dropped. I do not feel it was a coincidence that the call dropped. The rep hung up on me; it’s as simple as that. Had the call actually dropped, the rep should have immediately called me back. I did not receive a call. The 100% satisfaction guarantee is meaningless because you can't get a refund. Period, end of story. You'll only be offered another product. In my case, there was no other product from which to choose, or I would have chosen that product to begin with. That's not 100% satisfaction; the “guarantee” is simply a marketing gimmick.

I am so sorry to hear you were disconnected from the Customer Service Representative you spoke with and that the product you received wasn't what you were expecting. While none of our wood blinds are available at a full width of 96 inches due to the size of the raw material they are constructed out of, we do try to note this on the product configurator while building out the blind.     I appreciate the response. However, do not try to minimize the total customer service and product failure that I experienced. First, I was not "disconnected" from your ***; your *** hung up on me. It's as simple as that. Please accept that fact and train your ***s to do better. Second, as I noted in my original post here at BBB, I fully understood that I was ordering two separate blinds for one large window. However, it was not made clear anywhere -- during the online build of my blind or in any of the follow-up paperwork -- that I would receive two separate valances that would need to be pieced together in the middle. As I noted to the *** and in my original post here, my order was marked with a bold and highlighted section that stated my order is "oversized" and that a freight company would contact me to arrange delivery. I therefore believed I was going to receive a 96" valance because why else would an order be marked "oversized" if not eight feet in length!? That notice was misleading and, as I mentioned in my original post, an outright misrepresentation. And interestingly, neither the *** nor whomever answered my BBB post has bothered to explain to me why the order was marked as "oversized" and why a freight company would need to contact me to arrange delivery. Please explain that. What was it about the four-foot box I received that was "oversized" and that would have necessitated a freight company to contact me, when neither was the case? The post office has delivered boxes larger than that to me! I've donated the blinds to a local charity and have ordered a single, 96" blind from another, more highly reputable vendor. Yes, it is possible to make and have delivered a single 96" blind; I should have shopped around more. So I'm out the hundreds of dollars I spent on a useless blind from Blinds.com. There is therefore nothing you can provide "additional assistance" with as far as I'm concerned, unless youll issue a refund based on what I believe was deception and misleading information. In the meantime, what I can do is never to shop at Blinds.com again and advise others not to use your company, along with posting honest reviews of Blinds.com so that others may be warned about this situation. I've posted to BBB and Trust Pilot so far and will continue.

    I found Blinds.com on line and was initially impressed with the description of the blinds I then ordered and the price. The product arrived on time and without damage, have been installed and are exactly correctly sized and working perfectly. What more could a customer expect?     The product is excellent. It fit perfectly on the first attempt for nine windows I had done. I will say this after the sale nobody contact you if you have concerns or questions about your delivery or installation. Fortunately, it was very easy for me to install.
