I purchased a cpr course for my new job from this business for $70.21 on January 26th. My boss explained that this certification isnt accepted. This website claims to offer a refund if the certificate isnt accepted. So I contacted them from their website page about this a few days ago, and havent heard back. Then yesterday I emailed them directly and still havent heard back and am wondering if Im being ignored. Id like a refund as promised on their own site.Business Response

I was trying to renew my CPR certification and this business advertised a renewal option for ***** so I signed up for it and did what was asked. There is no where for me to actually download a certificate, and so I have just paid to take a local class at an accredited facility nearby instead. Today I took my *** and my blood-borne pathogens certification test. I passed it. We also called them because we had a problem running the card. They only took the card personally on top of that. They took the email addresses and then when I go to download the certificate, it asked me to put a business name to put on the certificate when you ever you have a blood-borne pathogen and the *** certificate it does not require for you to have a business name on it, theres something fishy about this . its not allowing me to download the material that I purchased. They still have not emailed out when they were supposed to have done it as soon as we got off the phone.Business Response

I took an online course and was asked to pay $14.95 which I agreed to. I knew I needed to proceed with this payment to get to the next option of signing up for another course offered at $29.95. I put in my credit card information thought it was not supposed to charge my card yet. I was supposed to be given the option for the next course first. When I noticed they were going to try to charge me for things I did not authorize I canceled the transaction as if it was never supposed to happen. However, the charges happened later. I saw them come out of my bank. But theres no receipt, no email confirmation, and services were not rendered. I immediately looked online and noticed dozens and dozens of other victims who have reported the exact same scam. I want a refund for the charges of $74.80 and $34.42. I dont even know what these charges are for as like I said Ive never received an email confirmation or any type of services from this company.Business Response

I had to purchase a *** training course that my community college recommended as part of the program I have been accepted into. On August 6, 2024, I bought the ***-AED online course at $14.95 for Healthcare workers for Basic Life Support, including adults, children, and infants. I also bought the ******************** and Unlimited Future Course Renewals for $14.95 a mail-in Copy of the Wallet Card for $14.95, and the Virtual hands-on training for $29.95. The website said it would mail me the *** manikin and my wallet card within 5 days, so I could do the online Virtual hands-on training course after it arrived. I waited for the package in the mail, and it never arrived. I have made several phone calls to get this problem rectified, and I got nowhere. I talked to one individual after waiting three weeks to see what was going on, and he promised he would look into it and let me know about the status of it. But, I received no email or phone call from anyone. I waited another week, and that person said she would leave a message to get back to me, and the same thing happened again with no response. I called last Monday to see about the package, and that person said he would leave a message. I did receive a phone call back, but there was nobody on the line. I have had to reschedule the online training with the manikin over three times because I can't do it without the manikin. Now I keep getting these emails that are AI-generated, and I have responded to them twice for some help. However, no real person has answered them. I have been patient with this company, but they don't have decent customer service or enough employees to get my problem solved. I will pay for the ***-AED training course and the course renewals. Yet, I want a refund for the Virtual hands-on training and the *** wallet card. I don't think they will ever send me those items in the mail.Customer Answer

I received a phone call today from ***** who works for American Health Care Academy about my situation. She admits their company is well-behind in sending out testing manikins, and it would be a few weeks more to receive it. She did offer me a refund for the manikin and a duplicate CPR card payment. I should receive the refund in my bank account in three to five business days. Jessa said I could do the manikin training at a local facility in *******, where I live. I booked a class for CPR certification, once I finished it, I was told to Zelle the $50 and I did.
