      On 07/25/22 the check was written and on 08/11/2022 the check was paid. They called me and told me I had a loan there. I went to the office and picked up a fraudulent form and in order for me to get the loan out of my name that I would need to fill out the form and have it notarized and bring it back to them. I did all of that . I went in there several times after that asking if they had taken the loan out of my name and each time they stated "NO" . Also, I filed a police report that the loan was fraudulent and the number on the police report is **********. I was fired from my job for reporting this crime. I followed up for several months. This business was in contact with the police department. After several months I went back to the business and they stated that they needed the police report from me. Then the business called me back, and they would send me a form because the other one was expired. I informed them that I was not going to sign anything until I had proof of what I was signing for. I called them back after a few day and told them that I was not signing anything they could just take me to court, because I have done everything they asked of me and this is still going on. I would like for the loan to not be in my name it is not my loan.

      I took out a loan with this company and after my first payment i went online to my account to pay the second payment and it showed it wasnt due till the following month. I found it a little odd that i didnt have a payment due on the 9th as i should have but i signed out and went and paid other bills with the money. I then got a call stating i was past due and advised them of what it showed online and emailed them a screenshot to show proof that it showed i didnt owe till the following month. They stated i wasnt the only person who said this happened and it could have been a glitch in the system. This caused me to be behind a month. A few weeks after this issue my sons dad went to jail and we were in the process of moving and they called daily even though i had already talked to someone from their company and she stated she notated everything so that they wouldnt constantly call. Ive been paying small payments whenever i can but they still call every day during my work hours and i cant answer. So today they call my job and are advised they are on a recorded line they get transferred to me and they start saying i have a loan thats past due and stating the amounts and im telling them were on a recorded line , we cant take personal calls at work, and the calls being recorded so anyone within our company has access to listen to the recorded call and hear my personal business. The rep kept repeating the information about my account and stating they will continue to call. This is a violation of the ****** Technically they are informing third party of the debt because everyone within the company i work for can listen to the call. ***************** reviews all calls and will hear it. I even provided the rep the name of our family attorney to contact and she still kept pushing asking for a date for when i will pay. I will be addressing this with my attorney when i get off of work because you cant violate peoples privacy and think its okay.

      My husband took out a loan and rather than take the entire term to pay it off, he paid it off in 4 rather than 10. He saved a whopping $30.00+. How in the hell?! He was never late and never missed a payment. His interest rate was a whopping 95%. Highway robbery!!!!!! We walked in asking for an amortization schedule and neither the account manager nor the supervisor knew what to provide. They provided me a loan payment history which provided absolutely no breakdown of how interest and principal was applied. You should have seen the confused faces when I asked for this. Their response was, our system doesnt provide that info! I also asked for a payoff but for some reason, that was absurd. Why wasnt I able to see what it was that my husband paid off?! Needless to say, this place is a joke. Yeah, he took out a loan in a time of need but you best believe he wont be doing that again!

      On March 30, 2023 I called to refinance my loan and NEVER received the funds, called numerous times they ignore me and lie and say the manager is in a meeting. I've supplied them with a copy of my bank statement to prove I never received the funds and still no resolution.

      On February 20th I made payment to Sun loan to pay on a closed account. I spoke to employee named ****. I was on the phone with her for 8 mins and 34 secs. I asked her when i make this payment will this account be taken of my credit report and she said yes. She said the company updates there files at the end of the month and it should come off and I asked her should I call back if its still on there..she said yes..give it until the middle of the month.. I called back again March 18th..spoke to **** for 4 mins and 17 secs and once again I informed her its still on my credit report.. she said her manager ***** said it should come off..i disputed the account with the credit bureaus and instead of removing the account as she stated they would they updated it. I filed a complaint with cfpb and this is a summary of their response: Company's Response- ******************** refinanced her loan on October 26, 2017 for $396, which called for a total payback of $66 a month for 6 months. Two payments were received late, and February 20, 2023, she paid off the account for $329. The District Manager spoke to the Sun Loan Consumer Loan Specialist to confirm that she did not tell ******************** that the account would be deleted from her credit report but rather updated to a zero balance..this unacceptable..of course their employee is going to lie and say she didn't give me false information. She is trying to cover herself..the facts are I was told by her over the phone my account would be deleted. Im assuming there calls are recorded..this company lied just to get my money..this is fraudulent..this was a verbal breach of contract that was not honored. I paid this account under the false impression that my account was going to be deleted. Its bad business for a company to say they are going to do something and don't do it just to get my money..Regardless of my payment history that was stated in the response. I paid this account to settle an old debt.

      I am rejecting this response because: they stated they did an investigation. How can you do an investigation if calls are not recorded there for they went off of their employee said which is incorrect. I want to know the details of investigation they claimed to have done..Its not my fault their employee was gave miss information. That I confirmed twice with her..I decided not to do the refund because it would effect negative on my credit report. It's funny how they can do all this updating on the file but can't do a removal. Only way I can see this being resolved is for them to remove the charge off remarks and change it to close paid and delete all the charge off history.

      I am rejecting this response because: again as I stated before what investigation was performed to determine that miss information was not giving to me? What investigation was performed to determine that I was not told that my account would be deleted twice by your loan specialist? especially if they state calls are not recorded. So are you to determine what was said on the phone to me? I want to know the details of this investigation that was performed. And who is miss little? This company lacks integrity because as I said before If I was told from the start that this account would not be removed..I probably would have just waited or paid and let it fall off next year and I wouldn't be highly irritated. But the facts are your loan specialist **** told me my account would be removed both times when I called to confirm. So if I have to take this complaint a step further I will

      I was contacted by this H3**03**5393030353932H and was asked to speak to *************************************, I told them it wasn't me and proceeded to tell them its fraud and to freeze the account and they refused and told me to send in documents and after I sent them, they told me I need a police report. *** made a police report with Officer ****** #**** at the *************************** and he's given me a police report #**-9673 but I'm still waiting for my report to send. This person opened up 2+ accounts in my credit using my information in *******, **. I want this account deleted and deleted from my credit reports!Name of the service involved: Unsecured Loan/Individual Creditor type: Personal Loan companies/Miscellaneous Finance Contract Signed by fraud individual in ******* **.The dollar amount in dispute: $1288 The Date of the transaction: 11/01/2022 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A.       I have a dispute with Sun Loan. I previously had borrowed money from Sun Loan and I paid it off early with no Finance charges. The loan I have attached is the second load I have borrow from SunLoan. At the time I borrowed , the teller told me I could pay it off early and reduce the finance charges, as I did with my previous loan. When I went to pay this loan off early the same teller told me she never said that, and I had to pay the entire balance. The teller also told me Sun Loan doesn't let customers pay off early. On the loan agreement is states I can pay off early and it will reduce the finance charges.

      I took a loan on 7-5-22 account no.221292-87518 from ****** to ****** total of ****** at ******% finance was 246.27,financed ****** total of payment of payments of ****** monthly as of 8/5/2022 for 7 payments They never said if I pay it early off I would not have to pay the 7 payment amount.I refine my account in December for ******,I went in to ask for the ****** check they sent in the mail,I was told he can get me ****** I felt it won't take that loan off I went in first payment of ****** and was told that I refinanced for the ****** and ****** I just finance was ******** was added to come up with the ******** I was shock because instead of paying 707. I 3 or just the interest on the ****** he added the difference of the previous payment that I thought would have been less he said it would be ****** and some dollars to pay on January 3rd 2023 to pay off then he printed out a slip for ******* mince my ****** Balance went from 410 to a ******* financed I would like this looked into it does not cost that much finance on ****** to pay them back now I'm locked into 7 payment and the pay off is higher than I thought he never went over the paper work because he was taken calls and helping the employees with there loans I would like to resolve this matter and correct how they explain there loans and the interest rate is not adding to what you expect to pay off the loan each loan was small Im complaining there practice on how there luring customer to take out loans that are not what they say.I would like have you look into my case as soon as you can.

      On July 5,2022, **************** refinanced her loan for $749 at the Sun Loan ************, ** office, which called for a total payback of $107 a month for 7 months. Four payments were received and the payoff balance on the loan was $297 on December 2, 2022, when she made the decision to refinance the loan thereby including the payoff balance of $297 into the new loan. She received $410.73 upfront in cash for the new loan and the precomputed interest charges were $390.27 bringing the total loan balance to $1,098. The refinance loan terms are $122 per month for 9 months. The District Manager discussed the loan closing with the Branch Manager and confirmed that he did follow the Sun Loan Operations procedures. The District Manager reviewed the loan contract with **************** in depth and she understood but was still concerned that we emphasize that the loan can be paid back early without any penalties. She appreciated the District Manager for taking the time to explain it in detail to her. If **************** has any questions, she can contact Sun Loan at **************.

      This complaint is about the Sun Loan location **** ***********. #2 78221.I have an outstanding loan and have been unable to make payments and now I have received a call threatening to send an officer to my home and place of employment also they contacted my ex husband whom I haven't spoken to in over 10 years. The lady there is absolutely unprofessional.

      I am not aware of this account. I have reached out to 3 Credit Bureaus and SUN LOAN ************** to have this account removed from my file and they are continue to said the same excuse, which should no longer acceptable. Regardless of all actions done on my end, there was no action from 3 Credit Bureaus. Thus, I am reaching out to seek assistance to have SUN LOAN confirm that I have no account with them and that the 3 Credit Bureaus can simply remove it from my credit report.

      On June 17, 2016, ****************** took out a loan for $750 at the Sun Loan office located in *******, **, which called for a total payback of $75 a month for 10 months.The July payment was received July 1, 2016. The August payment was not received until October 21, 2016, a $10.00 late fee was assessed, and the remainder was applied towards the August payment, leaving $20 outstanding for August. On February 10, 2017, ****************** made a $300 payment, $40 was charged to late fees, $20 was applied towards the August payment, September, October, November were paid in full and the remaining $15 was applied towards the December payment, leaving $60 outstanding for December. No other payments were received,and the account was written off June 30, 2017. Between September 2016 - April 2017, ****************** maintained contact with the Sun Loan office, explaining her financial situation to them and making numerous promises to make payments. Her employer was contacted regarding garnishing her wages, but no payments were received because she was no longer employed. We have reviewed the account and determined it does belong to ****************** and we have included a copy of the signed contract, application and identification. Therefore, we are unable to remove it from her credit report as she has requested. Regarding the credit bureaus ****************** refers to in her complaint, we have no affiliation with them, and she would need to contact them directly. If ****************** has any questions,she can contact Sun Loan at **************.
