      This is our second encounter with pushy Aptive salespeople who would not leave after I said NO! Im not interested. PLEASE LEAVE. They just stood there staring and kept telling me they are going to tell me about their product no matter what. I was torn between calling the cops or grabbing a weapon. I closed the door and they stood around for awhile trying to intimidate me and my family. WHAT THE HELL?! I am on a no-solicitors list and my house is clearly not taking solicitors! I will be calling the police next time they trespass.

      I initiated a contract with Aptive around 4/20/22. The initial pest control treatment was done on 4/21 around 6pm. I was told at that service that someone would contact me to set up a time for the next treatment which was to take place 30 days later. On 5/13, I received an email stating that the service had been scheduled for 5/20 but there was no timeframe provided. I work outside the home and they had accommodated me for the first service, stating they offer a time slot of 5-7pm. I called the company 3 times between the 13th and the 19th trying to figure out what time they would be out on the 20th, no one ever answered the phone. On the 20th I received a text at 1:25pm stating the technician was 20 minutes away. I was at work and unable to be there to let the technician in. Around 6/12, I started trying to call the company to schedule another service or get help setting up my online portal because every attempt to set it up says there is no account for my information. After several calls over several days being on hold for over an hour I finally got someone on the phone on 6/17 at 4:18pm. She scheduled an appointment for a service to take place on 6/18 between 12-2:30. My partner and I were busy so my mom stayed at the house to let the tech in. At 1:51 my mom called as there had not been any contact yet about the appointment. They said the tech probably wouldn't be there for another hour. She had other things to do so she canceled the appointment. Today they are telling me that the only time frames in which they schedule appointments are **** and 1-5. Their treatments have massively increased the bug population at my home. Their "customer portal" is completely non-functional. They never provided me with a copy of my contract, they just said I could view it any time on the portal, which I can't access. Now when trying to cancel the contract they are requiring to speak to me over the phone but they are not answering or returning my calls.

      Previously had their service but cancelled last year. Started getting txt messages that I owe money 5/3/2022. I called 5/30/2022 to find out what was going on. The service has been cancelled with a $0 balance. I was told that the "office" restarted the service hence the charges to my account. No one had been out to my house too perform these "services". I told them I didn't want the service, didn't authorize it, and wasnt going to pay for it and please cancel everything and shut it down . They refused and I finally hung up on them. They are still sending me "bills" for service that no one has performed and I have not requested and do not want. I want them to close everything out and stop harassing me.

      Disgraceful Sales Tactics. I work home during the pandemic. This morning I was in my office and the was a pounding at my door. Not a **** ring. Although I was on a zoom call with a client , I answered the door thinking it was urgent. A kid no older than 20 starting spewing off my neighbors names that had already signed on with them. I don't even think that the names were accurate. I explained that I was on a call and maybe he could come back. He said he had a 30 second pitch. I said I don't have 30 seconds but he kept talking. I understand the concept of don't take no for an answer but this was ridiculous. I was forced to close the door in his face, which I did not want to be forced to do. A few hours later , he's back again pounding on door. My son said I wasn't available. Finally a third time at 830 pm. Again with the pounding instead of ringing the ****. I wouldn't do business with this company even if I was overrun with roaches.

      I have never used their service and I never will. Apparently, they do not hire associates that know how to read. I have a sign that clearly states no soliciting and sleeping baby. Twice this month they have knocked on the door and both asked "Are you the boss of the home?" When I tell them I have a sign they apologize then keep trying to sell. Ridiculous! How disrespectful and unprofessional! Any company that hires people and trains them to ignore signs and then speak so ignorantly, will never get my business.

      I signed up for pest control services from Aptive and when day of service was supposed to be performed no one showed up to perform services but they still billed me. They rescheduled the services and again did not show up but expect me to pay for services they are not performing and wont release me from my contract that requires me to continue to use their services. Why should I be required to pay for services that are not actually being performed?!

      On 6/25/2022, someone from Aptive came through our neighborhood gate, which is clearly marked Private Property, and proceeded to go from door to door. Since he was a stranger, my dog barked at him from inside the house. After the standard spiel about killing bugs and wasps, he said, and if you slip us an extra twenty, we can take care of the dog, too. I called the company to request that they remove our address from their list as we dont want this person or any other representative of this company on our property. I spoke briefly and politely, but the guy who answered the phone hung up on me in mid sentence.

      We have a no solicitation sign. There have been 3 salespeople in the last 2 days banging on my door aggressively and it has become a safety concern that they will harass at no end.

      A technician came to dispose of a rat in a trap placed in my garage and I later discovered he put it in my neighbor garbage can! When I called the next day to ask them to send a technician back to properly dispose of the rat I was told I had to wait 14 days for a follow up visit. Consequently I had to deal with the rat myself and it was a horrible experience because 24 hours later it was my meester with maggots. I canceled my contract and they are charging me an early termination fee of $199. This is RIDICULOUS. This company is horrible and I regret switching to them. I had been a 15 year customer of ***** pest control with no such issues. I plan to continue escalating this but Im nit sure anyone within APTIVE cares enough about their reputation. If you are reading this DO NOT sign a contract with APTIVE, They lack competent technicians and customer service is very disappointing. It feels like entrapment. I cancel because if their incompetent work and I have to pay to leave this relationship ?? This is theft.

      Aptive sales rep showed up at our door at dinner time and would not leave. He lied that the company only offers 2 years contract and that they will charge us $159 every 3 months.It turns out, they charge us $159 EVERY service. Sales rep did not explain they were going to charge extra $159 for the first month. When we reached the service desk to refute, Aptive customer service refused to help. In addition, we do not see any significant difference in pest activities. We did not receive the service we paid for, and are overcharged. We feel trapped with this company. We want our contract terminated and receive full refund immediately.
