      I paid to have fat removal done on certain areas of my body. After the 6 month healing process, I was not happy with the results. I went in to my 6 month appt and the Dr. ****** that it needed to be redone and that I would be contacted within several days to reschedule a surgery. This was Dec 27, 2022. I contacted Sono Bello on/about Monday Jan 9,2023 to find out when I was going to have my re-do surgery. Jan 13, 2023 I received a text from someone at Sono Bello stating that they, again, would contact my in a few days. Jan. 18, 2023, I had still not received a call so I called them. They told me that they didnt know when I would be re-scheduled, that they only do 1-3 re-dos a month and they didnt have the drs schedule. I asked to speak to a manager but was told the manager couldnt speak with me. I asked for a number to their corporate offices and was told that they didnt know the number. I am getting the run around from this company that performed a substandard service. They are dragging their heels in an attempt to frustrate me into giving up. I need to warn others about this company and not to use them because they dont stand behind their work. Thank you

      I am rejecting this response because:

      the offer that the company has presented to me is of the lowest and most humiliating offers that they could have presented. They arent caring about what I now look like from a botched surgery, nor the pain and inconvenience I will have to again go through to fix the problem that they created. I paid $6000 for 3 areas to be done. None of the areas look good but the stomach area is very lumpy. If you take the $6000 paid and divide it by the 3 areas, that is $2000 per area which they didnt offer. Plus, the extra time (at least 6 months) and pain that I have to go through again, their offer is not acceptable. Though, by them offering anything, is an admission are admitting fault and that they are guilty of not providing an advertised service.

      *******, ******** location My first appointment, I wasn't seen until 2 hours after my scheduled time, I see the rep who is not a nurse, not a doctor and tells me that they can absolutely get rid of all the loose skin on my stomach. For the next 4 days I call, text and email to give them my money. $12,000 spent. Next, I meet my doctor the week before the procedure. He takes about 2 minutes with me then the nurse giving me a list of things I need to buy that costs almost $300. Why did I get the upgraded package?!?! Day of the surgery, it's 6am, it's just the doctor, a nurse and me. The surgery actually went well but I wake up wrapped in binders and no explanation of how to take them off and on. I come home and once the lidocaine wears off, I'm in the WORST pain in my life. I was also told I'd be back to work in 3 days. 3 weeks of teleworking later (because I couldn't sit up), I was told told I should have been off work for several weeks... o.0 I have 3 follow-up appointments, all with LPNs who tell me after my complaints that it's all normal. My binder wasn't even ordered until my 2 week check up. AFTER MONTHS of horrible pain, infections and pull inches of stitches that were pushing through my skin, I had to almost scream at a nurse to get me to have ONE follow-up with the doctor. He comes in, doesn't wash his hands. I make him put on glove. Here I am almost a year later and I am STILL in pain, the scar looks like I was in a horror movie, I'm completely lop-sided and none of my clothes fit anymore because the way my body is now disfigured. The manager called me about my complaint and said she would schedule an appointment with another surgeon to see if the issue could be resolved. That was supposed to be January 9th. Luckily, I called ahead because they had "no record of me having an appointment that day". The front desk said they would have the manager call me. Well, 2 weeks later, no call. $12000 to be worse than I was before, treated like c*** and being avoided.

      Thank you for sharing the concern.  Everyone heals differently and we cannot control what symptoms a patient may have, how mild, or severe they may be or at what speed they will recover from surgery.  We are sorry to hear that the patients recovery was much longer then anticipated and is still unsatisfied with the results.  Because results can vary, we offer our satisfaction commitment which states if approved by the surgeon we will revise at no cost to the patient.  We have since been in touch with the patient and have her schedule to meet with another surgeon to discuss what can be done to address her concerns.  We apologies in he delay from the center in getting this appointment scheduled in a timely manner.

      I am rejecting this response because: I am not complaining about how I heal but how I was treated during the entire process as everything was always considered "normal." I am complaining about the lies I was told. I am complaining about the lack of communication and follow up. I have asked to speak with corporate before attending the new appointment with the new docter, after the first appointment was "never scheduled" when I called to confirm that morning. I have been playing phone tag with corporate since.

I have left message after message after message for **** at Corporate with NO response. At this point in time, my body is now WORSE than before the surgery and I'm over being ignored. I want a FULL refund or I will be getting a lawyer.

      I went to Sono Bello for consult on 11/22/2022 at the *** office and saw *******************************. We discussed everything and she said she could take a deposit of ****** that day and make another payment on the 12/6/22. I advised that I only had my Discover CC and she said that we could you that for the deposit only. When I got to the front desk, I advised the receptionist that I was only making my deposit with the Discover and that I would make my other payments via debit card. She said they wouldn't store that information. On 12/6/21, I called to tell them I need to change my payment date and give them the card for billing of future payments, The receptions said no problem, I could speak with ********. ******** and I changed the payment dates and she said when I called to make my payment, I could give the card info. No one told me that my Discover Card was charged for *******. I spoke with ******** around 12/22/22 advising that I had to see a Cardiologist and needed to cancel my surgery until I had clearance for palps(as the appt isn't until Feb 2023), ********, again didn't mention to me that my cc had be charged. It wasn't until I received my statement that I see they charged my card. In calling the office and speaking with ******** today, she said she wasn't aware of how to do a refund and would need to speak to someone in the billing department and didn't know how long this would take. She stated she would reach back out to me today, with no response. I need my card credited back for the 12/6/22.

      I went to my consultation and was told that I was a 'perfect candidate' for inner, outer and banana roll laser guided lipo on my thighs. I paid that day for an 'immediate opening' for **************** the following week. I met with ******. She concurred that I would benefit from this procedure. She was a little less energetic from what I now know - the lady I first met with was not a trained medical person at all, she was merely a sales rep who benefited from me booking the procedure. Post op- No results. 1 month, 2 month 3 month. No results. They said it was from swelling. They asked that I wait until my 6 month follow up. I did. Still nothing. No results- although **************** said I looked amazing- I looked the same- the measurements wer e merely the same and she then agreeded to retreat one leg, when both legs were still bad! I asked for a second opinion. They blamed it on office staff being out, miscommunication etc etc. led to 9 month follow up to meeting with ******************. Dr. ******** said I would not benefit from a second procedure because I was NEVER a good candidate to begin with! He said this is no dis respect to his colleague- its just thighs are hard, thighs like mine are very hard and I should have never had this procedure to begin with. That is why I asking for a full refund. When I reached out to SonoBello they said they would refund $3300 of my $7000. I paid and suffered through a surgery that I never should have had. Not to mention they asked that I sign a NDA in exchange for the $3,300. I am wanting a solution. I do not feel they are practicing in good faith. I do not feel the sales rep is operating within her scope. I do not feel their offer is fair as far as a settlement. I would like a refund for the full amount.

      We are sorry to hear the patient is dissatisfied with her results.  Because there is no science behind liposuction, we make no promises or guarantees of results, as they can and do vary. Therefore, we are unable to offer post procedure refunds due to ones level of satisfaction with their surgical outcomes.       I was lied to as being a candidate. My issue is not in the results alone, it is in that I was never a candidate for this procedure. This is taking advantage of clients- its lying and dishonesty.  

      The office refuses to answer emails or takes calls.

      I was willing to accept a refund for the THREE areas I had treated but they were only willing to refund TWO. This made zero sense. Even the office manager agreed this had a happened before. 

      I wasnt willing to sign their gag order for a partial refund. I told their representative if they would like me not to take it to social media the they could refund me all of my money for lying to me and for not warning other people about their scam practice. She sent me the *** but for only two of the areas treated Not for three and not for the treatment center & covid test. I told her I understood surgical fees and the surgery center. However, if I was never a candidate, I wouldve never been out these fees. And if they truly wanted this to go away, this is a small price to pay. Its a negotiation.   They would never come up to 3 but demanded the ***. 

      I have no problem signing the *** for a full refund being accepted and I will remove everything off of social media (including the platform or past employees speak openly about how SonoBello scams patients for this very thing). Please let me know if you would like the link.

      They refused to acknowledge the fact. Their own doctor said that I was never a candidate. This is not about results of a  Lipo. That was never my complaint. Can we please work towards a solution that makes sense for this situation? 

      No one at the home office or the corporate office is returning my calls or my emails. Someone monitoring their social media has said that they would be willing to answer my call. I tried to reach back out to them on social media to let them know that this was not happening, but then they were not able to receive my message because their account is set up in such a way to not.

      I have a business myself, and resolution is always the goal. I do not want to leave this unsettled, or to receive more than what I should, right is right. I feel that Sonobello should act accordingly and refund the money, since I was never a candidate to begin with. In other words, they sold me a product that I could never use. 

      Doctors and surgeons are people we trust, and if they were operating outside of their scope; and spoke out of opinion instead of science- this again is a poor reflection of sono Bello, and should heavily be monitored for how it is entering the medical realm, and how they are freely  being able to do business with a trusting general public. We deserve better.

      I went in for a consult for Sono Bello on November 2, where I placed a deposit for a fat removal abdominal procedure in the amount of $1000.05 with the rest to follow two weeks before the procedure date 11/30. My preop appointment was set for 11/15. Unfortunately, I had a family emergency that caused me to have to put my procedure on hold. During this same time, I met someone who had had a horrible experience. Plants of doubt were placed but I intended on following through. Then I had another financial issue arise and I realized I need my deposit back because I can no longer afford the procedure at this time but need the deposit. I wrote to Sono Bello a written request for a refund (as instructed by the sales rep ******* on December 19). A representative from Sono Bello ******************* replied via email, It will be submitted for approval. It may take some time because we have a non-refundable deposit policy. on the same day. I have heard nothing back even though I have sent a follow up email re my refund. I did not even get to speak with a physician and I only received a 15 consult with a saleswoman. I wanted to go through with sono bello but life has thrown some obstacles in my way. Unfortunately, the way Sono Bello is treating me as a customer has left much to be desired and even if my situation changes and Im in a good place for the procedure, I will be looking elsewhere because it now feels shady and manipulative. I just want my original deposit refunded back. No other legitimate business holds onto a deposit when you havent even spoken with the surgeon.

      On October 4, 2022I underwent the procedure called AB X, and also liposuction. After the surgery was performed I kept having ongoing concerns medically with having fluid buildup in my stomach and having to undergo a surgery from ****** hospital to correct the problem and an additional procedure where they had to re-open the wound again and pack it with gauze and I was told by ****** Permanente that the reason why I had all these side effects and problems is because the Sonobello, Dr. **************** failed to install drains at the original time of my procedure, and in turn all the things that I was undergoing were because of this reason, and that theres no such thing as a procedure like this not having drains, and this was coming straight from the head cosmetology doctor at ****** Permanente. It is now January and I still have not completely healed up on my incision. I still have a lot of pain and I still have concerns about my well-being because of this whole situation. My stomach is what I would think called botched looking and concerning. ****** Permanente told me that they have a lot of people that come in after having procedures done with Sonobello and have complications that they have to deal with and that theyre very familiar with the doctor that I had and his patients coming in for complications. Im very unhappy with this whole experience. I have no confidence in Sonobello or the doctors. They advertise that youll be back to work in three days to a week and in my case thats unheard of its been months and Im still having a lot of pain and swelling in a very uncomfortable and I worry about my health now.. I believe that if I wouldve been sent home with drains in my incision, this whole experience and complications couldve been avoided. I have much more scarring and much more damage than shouldve been done. I also had to pay ****** Permanente 500$ additional to fix the damage done by Sonobello. I paid close to 13000$ to them and I feel cheated and akward

      On August 10th I did a consultation with Sono Bello in ******* for laser lipo surgery.On this date I charged ********* on my **************** card. My consultation with the doctor was on October 25,22. The doctor stated she did not recommend the surgery for me because I take a blood thinner. My doctor did clear me for the surgery. But the surgeon refused to do the surgery. The doctor called Sono Bello so I could get my refund. So I've been back and forth with Sono Bello for 2 month trying to get my money. I have email from Sono Bello promising my refund through mail and wire transfer to my bank. They are just lying to me. So I'm reaching out to the Better Business Bureau.

      Transaction Date: 19 September ***********: $8000.00 Business Committed to provide: 360 lipo Dispute Nature: No where near ******************** regarding areas day of procedure (while another office finalized superior customer service and did not ***** inch here whatever) after originally Dr was not agreed Dr but had to proceed with this Dr because timing constraints (******** did not see much work when in fact canisters worth of work and if not more if proper technology used). Also marketing FRAUD, selling procedure just like smartlipo when in fact nowhere near!Problem resolution: Entirely done with Sonobello, WHEN THEY GET THE MONEY THEY KEEP THE MONEY, messed up previous chest procedure and price brought me back, I disputed with card but no assistance; were talking something about abdominoplasty after taking money for this procedure but I absolutely never want to see another dull Sonobello office again. THUS, I am demanding $3-4K (if not all because lopsided and canula rows because one side process balance) back for at least false advertising and not delivering a comprehensive 360 like alternate area map attached here, for clearly not completing process like attached, images from their office will clearly support this assertion; Verenia (sales) clearly stated was 360 procedure only to fall short requiring another organization finalize for $4K additionally and upon request went a little further to clearly get Sonobello s*** work out!Proper 360 area map at ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Transaction info: *********** Auth code: 22176P

      On December 7th, 2022 I went to Sono Bello with my granddaughter who was interested in getting a procedure done by them. Her appointment time was 1:30pm. I was there as the person paying for her procedure. We met with their consultant named *****, I believe. She walked us through everything and my granddaughter decided on what she wanted to have done. It just so happens that they had an available appointment the very next morning so my granddaughter decided to take it. So they did the pre op appointment right then. Being so, I had to provide the funds right then. Total cost of her procedure was going to be $38,000. I opted to do partial financing and the remainder cashier's check. I financed $18,000 & got a $20,000 cashier's check. We left after her pre op appointment around 4pm and she was scheduled to be back the next morning at 9:30am for her actual procedure. She ended up not being able to get the procedure done because of her health history. The problem with that was during her pre op appointment the previous day the doctor who was going to do her procedure came in, met with her, and went over her medical history and didn't say there were any problems. After finding out the procedure could not be done we were told the refund would take ***** days to process. The financing was reversed, but here it is a month later and I have yet to receive my remaining $20,000 back. I've called numerous times and I keep getting the run around. My granddaughter has called several times as well. They keep telling us their waiting to hear back from their financial department and never get back to me. The experience from beginning till now has been awful and I just want my money back and to move on from this.

      I had a cosmetic surgery procedure done 12/7/22. I was in server pain during the procedure crying and shaking the whole time, I was not properly sedated I felt every cut and jab. I felt like I was being tortured. I talked to the clinical manager on staff she said there was nothing she could do they are not in the business of pain free surgery, I was crying and shaking after speaking with her, she did not care at all for how i felt. Also the procedure I was having done was supposed to be followed up with Lazer treatment. The doctor did not do and when I asked the clinical manager said it's doctors choice, but I paid for that and it did not get done. I have hard knots and lumps on all the areas that I had treatment done, and I'm still in severe pain. This is not right!

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is still in the process of being handled it is not resolved yet, giving a patient free ***** treatments is not a resolution for what I experienced in a surgery procedure and when a clinical manager says to you that they are not in a business that gives pain free surgery and does not have compassion for the patient it's unacceptable so definitely not resolved yet. And call the patient to remove complaint from BBB when it's not resolved is unacceptable. Not to satisfactory standard of care, unprofessional and unethical on SonoBello's part not the Manager task to call me to remove case. I accept they are trying to make things right but far from it.
