On June 29 of 2021 I had tri sculpt done on my waist , upper and lower abdomen and Ex (skin removal) . During my consultation I was told that I would get great results and that I was an ideal candidate for this procedure. I was given a price of over $9000 and paid it. A week or so later I had my consultation with an actual surgeon who also said my results I was seeking more feasible. During my surgery it was extremely painful the pain meds they gave me prior to surgery must have not had time to take affect because I felt every second of it until the lidocaine finally numbed a bit of it. The procedure was very uncomfortable the nurse was messing with the bed after surgery pushing the wrong buttons I was going up and down the surgeon seemed concerned about it also. Then a second nurse came in to assist. I was literally rushed out the door so quickly that my garment wasn’t even put on correctly. Then come to find out my second garment was never even ordered. Every time I came in for an appointment it was a weeks beyond what was supposed to be scheduled. They kept telling me it would look better and better every time I came in but it never did. After over eight months I finally got to see the doctor again. Then he tells me that he can’t fix what’s wrong that i should pay for VenusLegacy .This is absolutely ridiculous. If they had told me in the beginning that they couldn’t do what I was asking I would have went elsewhere and paid for a full tummy tuck. But I was reassured that what I was asking was doable. Now I am left looking worse than when I came in. I would like my money back for a procedure that didn’t get done correctly and cannot be fixed by their doctors. This was done at the Tacoma Washington location. They should have all the photos taken from beginning to end and can clearly see there is no change and I actually look worse now. I went to Sono Bello on 01/28/2022 for a free consultation. During that consultation, I was made to feel like the person I met with knew what she was talking about and knew what I needed to have done based on my requests. I was told there was a ******* non refundable deposit but I could cancel my surgery at anytime if I decided to change my mind and any other amounts paid would be refunded. I was rushed to decide right then about the surgery. I paid the deposit that day. I called the next Monday and paid the remaining ******* that was due for my balance. My preop was schedule for March 11, 2022. At that time the surgeon told me I wouldn’t see any results and I wanted me to do an abex so I would see results. They requested an additional 5K that day for the abex. I paid that 5K even though I was not comfortable with it. As soon as I left, I sent a message to cancel the surgery and please refund. My surgery was not scheduled until March 21st. I was told I could not cancel and I would not get a refund since I already met with the surgeon. The day of the surgery, my entire family had a stomach virus including myself. I had no choice but to try to reschedule. When I called to rescheduled, they said they would let the person that did my consultation know and she would get back with me. She messaged me to see if I wanted to pay the 150 flat rate to have one of their drivers come get me and bring me home from the surgery. I said no. With no response afterwards. I just want to be done with this company. They just wanted the money. The surgeon flat out said I wouldn’t see a difference. This company is a scam. I wouldn’t want them touching me now if this is how they treat their customers.Business response

We are sorry to hear that the patient has decided not to move forward with her procedure. In order to maintain the continuity of our very busy surgical schedule we do implement a non-refundable deposit. If procedures are cancelled less then 5 days prior the patient is subject to 100% forfeiture of their funds as stated in our consents. The patient cancelled that day of procedure however in good faith we have decided to refund less the non-refundable portion.Customer response

I talked to ***** from the Sonobello **** office about a LaserLipo procedure. When I talked to her I was under the prior impression that it was much different from regular lipo, much less invasive. She told me that they still had to go under the skin, but the procedure was much different than "regular" liposuction, using a laser making it minimally invasive and less traumatic to the body. She told me you had to wear a compression garment for 6 weeks after. I had scheduled a cruise and did not want to wear a garment on it, so she helped me schedule an appointment in ********* (3 hour drive and requiring hotel stay) so I would be garment free by time of cruise. Put $1000 down. Went to Clevelend to have procedure on February 19, 2022. Met doctor for preop on 2-18-2022, and it was not the doctor I had been sent me a profile for in preop information packet. Then he told me, no, I was mistaken, it was regular lipo, the laser was only small part of procedure. He apologized for their sales people. Then I was told I had to wear garment for 3 months. Once again, apologized to about sales staffs bad info. I was so scared by this point I called office and told them I was frightened. A business manager from ********* called me back, apologized profusely for my experience, and told me they didn't normally give refunds, but I would get a full one. She said she could tell how scared I was, could see why, and shouldn't do an elective surgery feeling that way. I went home, still paying hundreds for trip. Once home, ***** left a message saying I would be getting no refund, and if I had put $2000 down I would have lost that too. I called the sales manager from ********* multiple times and left messages for her to call me back, since she is the one who told me I would get a full refund. She was always "in a meeting" and never returned any of my calls. What reputable business does that? I feel I am a victim of fraud at the very least, and possibly medical negligence.Business response

I had Sonbello done about seven months ago. I followed instructions I wore my compression garment. Then when that was all done I started on a hard-core exercise regiment which I normally did anyway. I had gone to have waist, fat on my hips, back and bra, arms and under my b****** My diet is beyond clean,but my body is disfigured. It looks like my waist is now indented right above my hips, then fat protrudes below and right behind my hips. My arms are better, but thats it. I am an avid beach goer, I even feel fatter than I was. Its pretty depressing because Im a very active person and I wont put on a bathing suit. Im depressed and I need it fixed. I did call them, Im waiting to hear from them on Monday March 21,2022.. It has definitely affected everything about how are you feel about myself. I dont recognize my body at all now.Business response

I had liposuction, tummy tuck and waist ***e 7/21 ,at the pre open visit the Dr suggested I would benefit from a bra area liposuction. After discrete the addition cost I agreed. I had the the procedures *** except the bra area. At one of my follow up visits I told th nurse I had a copious amount of fluid shoot out from my incision leaving a puddle on the floor. This happened the day before my appointment. Nothing was ***e. A couple days later my incision opened up about 3 inches. I ended up in the hospital with a bad infection. I took 2 months to heal.I was out of work for 2 week, with hospital bills my insurance didn't pay. All I wanted was a refund on the procedure I didn't have ***e. They would not call me back.I texted them also, they responded saying that it would com from cooperative,it would take 2 weeks. I waited, nothing. The cost was about 3 thousand dollars. I have contacted her office multiple times, no one calls me backBusiness response

I went for a free consultation at the Sonobello location in *********** on March 15, 2022. I was interested in getting information for their procedure there. The lady gave me all the information. She then gave me the information for their financing. I asked about that. I told her I was 100% Disabled VET and unemployable. She told me the down payment was normally $2,000. I told her that was not something I could afford. She told me if I could do $1,000 that would be find or even $500. At no time was I told it was not refundable. I also told her I really needed to think about it. I felt pressured. She even tried to make the appointment for 3 days out and told me I could take an Uber to their office for appointment as well as letting me use her computer to make my transfer funds to my account. Since my bank app was not working on my phone in their office. After I got home my doc called me that afternoon and informed me of some recent lab work and about some concerns on an echocardiogram. So I reached out to Sonobello first thing the next morning. I was told I needed a doctors written note faxed to them saying she didn't approve of my procedure before they could refund my $500 deposit. I haven't even had a pre op or seen a doctor. It says in financial agreement once you completed pre op and cleared for surgery your deposit is non refundable. I haven't had my pre op yet. So why do I need a note from my doctor stating she doesn't approve of this procedure? Why can't they refund my $500? I wasn't told it wasn't refundable. I called first thing when they opened at 9am. I have an autoimmune disorder. I found out I have kidney issues, I am having to see cardiologist, I am seeing Rheumo next month and have consult for Nephrologist. I have many issues that I obviously didn't realize was this bad. They need to refund my $500. I told the lady I also I just put rock down in my front yard also so I didn't have a lot of money either. They totally took advantage.Business response

March 1, 2022 I had a consultation at a ****** ************** Office. The consultation was about an hour and a half, when I left I had a pre-operation appointment set up, as well as the operation day set up. I also left a $2000 deposit. In my contract it says that if I cancel before my pre-operation then I can get a full refund. When I left my consultation I automatically felt uneasy at my purchase. I felt like ****** the person who did my consultation was a sales rep constantly trying to upsell. On March 4 I started my attempt to cancel my appointments and get my money back. Almost every single day that they are open I have called or my boyfriend has called we keep getting the runaround and as my pre-operation date approaches Im worried that they wont give me my money back. This company has been so unprofessional both the ************* office and their call-center staff. One staff member actually hung up the phone on me after he yelled at me and did not let me talk. I want my $2000 back refunded as soon as possible. I beg anyone who thinks about doing business with this company to know they are absolutely sales people and crooks!Business response

The sales representative was dishonest. I found out I was WAY overcharged for the same service as others. I paid $1750 per area when others paid $1395thats a significant difference and I am 122 pounds, muscular and hardly obese. I dont appreciate being lied to and taken advantage of. Also I was double charged for an area and one was left off. I dont have any faith or trust in the company. I want a full refund (I havent seen any of their doctors yet, only the sales person).Business response

I made a payment of 500 dollars on 2/18 to put a down payment for the surgery. I was not ready so within the 15 days of purchase (as stated on their website) I reached out by phone call and the receptionist said she wasnt authorized to do the refund and would have to follow up with my consultant ********* I told her what times she could call me. ******** called me once but never left a message and I missed it because she called during times I said I could not answer. Going forward I called agin and just said I need someone to help me with this and again the receptionist was not authorized and ******** would call me. She never did. Then I emailed ******** within the 15 days of purchase and never received an email back from her. I did go in person to talk to them but a surgery was in progress and I had to call the number. ******** was unavailable of course. I am so frustrated with the inability to reach them and I need to just cancel the surgery and get my deposit back. Now it is past the 15 day return and I am not sure how they will handle it. I would hate for this to happen to others.Customer response

My my issue has been fixed and I had received the refund. After explaining I would contact the BBB they finally gave it back to me so case #******** is all set to close. Thank you all for your help I wasnt sure what to do so I wanted to reach out and I am glad that everything got resolved.

I WENT IN FOR A CONSULTATION FOR LASER FAT REMOVAL AND AT THAT TIME I WAS TALKED INTO GETTING SKIN REMOVAL AS WELL. I DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH IT AS THE WAY EVERYTHING WAS EXPLAINED IT WAS GOING TO BE EASY AND PAIN FREE. AFTER LEAVING AND DOING MY OWN RESEARCH I HAVE NO INTEREST AND GETTING SKIN CUT OFF AND NOT EVEN BEING PUT UNDER ANESTESHIA. I WENT IN TODAY AND MET WITH THE DR AND ALL HE TRIED TO DO WAS SELL ME MORE SERVICES. I DO NOT FEEL LIKE THIS IS A COMPANY I FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING A SURGICAL PRODURE ON MY BODY AND JUST BEING ON PAIN PILLS. I ALSO HAVE READ NUMEROUS REVIEWS STATING MALICE AND BAD RESLUTS.
