A business is unlawfully soliciting me and they conveniently have an error on their unsubscribe page.

Greetings, my name is *****. I am the **************** Manager here at **********************. I have unsubscribed you from all Redfin emails. It may take up to 48 hours for them to entirely stop, as some may already be queued up. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Since the company was continuing to send me emails everyday, I continued to click on unsubscribe from each one. Today the unsubscribe button worked for removing me from one of multiple lists that they had unlawfully subscribed me to. Another link allowed me to be redirected to an account I've never set up to remove myself from numerous other lists that I never signed up for.

The notifications inform me that I am now unsubscribed from"all" whatever that means.

I will continue to report if I receive any emails past the 24 hour period they claim the unwanted emails will stop. This will be anything after 10:23 MST tomorrow Sunday the 8th of October.

Per Redfin's own webpage my husband is entitled to receiving the full 0.5% refund since he sold the house he purchased with an old girlfriend and purchased his next home with me, his wife.Multiple times we confirmed with our Redfin agent that since it was my husband who both sold and purchased through a Redfin agent that the check would be in his name only. Redfin's own policy page regarding this very topic clearly outlined this and clearly stated he was *********** the whole amount. Now ***** says because their policies have changed they will NOT cut the check in my husband's name only even though they clearly acknowledge they have neglected to update the terms posted on their own Redfin page. Please see our correspondence with our agent and proofs that Redfin acknowledges they are knowingly misleading their customers because they still haven't updated their Redfin page. Our agent made it clear Redfin has no intention of honoring the verbal agreement backed by their posted online policy. We only used Redfin to begin with BECAUSE they said the refund was solely ours and we didn't have to split it with the ex.

A week ago, I identified a home to buy located at ****************************, Callifornia listed by the Redfin Listing agent for $899,000. I offered full list via my agent and was told that the Seller had "multiple offers" and would not accept an offer below $950,000. I was willing to pay pay $950,000 until the agent disclosed the property inspection report which revealed numerous serious deficiencies. I told the agent I was still willing to purchase the property at original list price and handle the deficiencies myself. The REDFIN listing agent *************************** ******** ************ said the Seller wants $950,000 in AS-IS condition. Today I check the listing and it is still active for sale and showing $899,000. If the listing agent knows that the seller won't take the asking price, is she not compelled to advertise $950,000 in the listing? That is what I am complaining about.....There use to be a time in this country where you submit full asking price, the Seller was compelled by law to accept it or be charged with discrimination..........

      Hello ********,

My name is *****. I am Redfin's **************** Manager. Our ********************** team connected with you, and we understand your frustration and confusion about your offer not being accepted.

In this transaction, we, Redfin, represent the seller and have an obligation to get them the best possible outcome for their home sale. Our agent helped work with our clients to strategically price the home and advocate for them during the transaction.

Please understand that we do not decide which offer the seller accepts, and there are no requirements that the seller accept an offer that meets their list price. A higher offer was on the table, and the seller decided to take it.

Although we aren't the brokerage you employed to represent you as your buyer's agent, we still wish you the best of luck with your buying journey and hope you have a better experience with Redfin in the future!

I contacted Redfin to ***********. They sent an inexperienced real estate agent that was not aware of anything. She did not even know the wall mounted garage opener that lights up in green was used to open the garage..forget anything else. She was just a body to show a home. She was better off not speaking, because she would just look clueless and no response for each question asked. After that wonderful experience she told us the seller had a deadline for next Monday at 5pm. Today is Tuesday. Apparently via Zillow the offer ended Today Tuesday at 5pm!!!!!! How can you mess up so badly. We now cant even place an offer for our dream home bc of this chic who now says: I misread the email, it was today by 5pm Sorry about that..I thought I saw it say Monday. Wow fire this girl named *******! The realtor *****, who this girl is working for is no where to be found. Thanks for the help Redfin!!!

Redfin does not have experienced buyers agents who work in the best interest of the client. The agent had no valuable information on the homes we had requested info on, and she was rude and combative in communication style. She tried to force us to purchase homes that were not in our best interest and then threatened to drop us as a client of Redfin.

Thank you for sharing your experience. My name is *****; I am Redfin's **************** Manager. Our agents follow The Fair Housing Act and are limited in what information they can legally share. In addition, our agents care about your best interest, so they provided feedback that the budget/locations previously discussed and agreed upon were not aligned with the houses for which tours were requested. In order to be able to help you on your buying journey, it is important to have a firm budget/location in mind, as well as a realistic understanding of the current housing market and what offers are likely to result in the outcomes you wish to have. Since Redfin has honored over 400+ tours and 20+ offers (all of which you chose to withdrawl), we have determined that we are not the right fit. Wish you the best of luck on your buying journey.

Redfin Realtor agent *************************** on 5/24/23 showed the home at ****************************************. I paid $6,000 ******* money deposit to the TitleForward, paid $485.00 for inspection done on 5/29/23 and appraisal for $475.00 completed on 6/5/23. In the event that that contract was to be terminated by the seller not completing the work prior to the settlement date I was guaranteed several times by the agent *************************** and the TitleForward representative *********************** my EMD would refunded back to me. After the inspection was done there were several items the seller had agreed to fix prior the closing date 6-20-23. I requested to receive the receipts of all the repairs completed which I never received. I was given a series of excuses as to why I didnt receive them. In addition, I was asked to give the seller additional time to fix said items by 6-12-23. No additional receipts other than one showing payment for calking outside the home and half completed work on a lower level bathroom. Under the belief that they had no intention of completing the other work it was suggested by ****** to go do a impromptu visit on 6/15/23. No follow up evidence to support work being done on the truss and bathroom per inspection. I decided I didnt want to move forward. I was told I could walk at anytime and receive my EMD. I sent an email to ****** stating I was not comfortable moving forward and had no intention of signing any forms that would cause me to lose my EMD early on6/16. I was asked to sign a unilateral agreement of termination and banking information to have my money wired back to me. I signed the unilateral and the sent the bank information. I received several emails saying the money would be coming after the seller signs the agreement. On 6/19/23 I received a email from ****** stating the seller refused to sign the release and I needed to go to mediation. I am asking for BBB to review the documents attached and contact Redfin to have my EMD refunded in its entirety.Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: Although I appreciate that they finally responded, I will not be happy until I have my rightfully owned refund deposited back into my account. The home has been sold to another buyer and they are still holding onto my deposit as a previous buyer! I will not be happy until they honor the financial contingency and refund my full deposit.
      Thank you,
      Sincerely,

We have thoroughly investigated this matter and have determined that Redfin acted appropriately. **************' ******* money is being held by Title Forward, the Title and ************** ************** worked with during her real estate transaction. **************' right to the ******* money deposit is being disputed by the seller of the property, which is why the funds were not returned to ************** when she terminated the contract. Redfin is not in possession of the funds, has no control over the fact that the seller refuses to return the ******* money deposit to buyer, and has no authority to determine who is entitled to the funds. Redfin regrets that **************' ******* money deposit is in dispute but respectfully, **************' request that Redfin refund her the ******* money deposit is misguided.

After reply from ************ (owner's of the Navajo St ******* property) attorney via ************************** we know definitively that *************************/Redfin were responsible for ** losing house that we had purchase agreement on.**************************** attorney, we were to have signed paperwork on/prior 1/4/2023. Paperwork never presented, therefore, it was never signed. Since paperwork was not signed, *********** cancelled purchase agreement & moved forward with other buyer. 1/10/************************ asked us if we would amend the price of our house so our buyer could be non-contingent. It was already too late, but we didn't know that. We agreed to amend price from $345,000 to $340,000 netting us $5,000 loss on sale of our home. Inspection on Navajo property was already done & paid for.***** assured us for over a week we would not lose house. Stress was incredible. We looked for "perfect retirement home" for 1 1/2 ************* going to lose it. NO intention of moving until found perfect home! We had no home to move into. We were dividing our belongings into 3 piles. 1 pile could freeze in a POD, 1 pile into a heated ******** ******** that we bring with us into our temporary house. Highly stressful situation; looking for places to store our things, price it, how to move it and not knowing how long we'd be homeless. We found a home, not home we wanted. We had a deadline to be out of home, no have time to have inspection on the new home.Redfin reduced closing fees by $2500. We are still out $3000.We ask Redfin to pay the $3,000 that we lost due to their realtor's error. Also asking Redfin pay for inspection on home. Gross ********** are in a home that isn't the perfect home for us; we needed a place to live. It is unconscionable that we lose home and our hard-earned money through absolutely no fault of our own, but due to a professional's error. Heartbroken every time we look out window & see neighbor not 4 acres ************* that we had originally purchased.

Redfin's agent did not do due diligence and represent me adequately as the buyer in the home buying process. He rushed me, spoke to my lender and my contacts behind my back, did not place verbal guarantees in my paperwork, and didn't come out for critical inspections, instead had a jealous rude man come in his stead, who did not sufficiently note down the flaws with the home saying "that's fine" about ****** and chips all on the floor. I was completely unrepresented well on my best behalf. I told him I work from home and could not have loud noise, I asked about the noise, he said it's fine and didn't note it in paperwork. The noise is a nightmare today and I cannot concentrate, even after buying an expensive window panel. I told him I was out of town and needed to close on a certain date, he instead rushed a date so I'd hurry up and buy and I paid extra for an out of state notary. If he spoke with even ONE neighbor, he would've known this was a party house and the seller was being pressured by HOA and that the home warranty was eliminated by the builder so I'm out of that for critical repairs. I excessively overpaid buying with redfin because of the representation I received.
