      If I can add negative stars I would. I would never book with Expedia. I planned a family trip and booked a hotel through Expedia. When I arrived t** he hotel , Expedia failed to share that my children were not infants. Therefore we were not able to obtain the room I booked two months prior. I was on the phone with Expedia for 3 hours in a hot hotel lobby with my two children, who were tired and hungry from the airplane flight. Expedia did not hold accountability on their mistake and suggested I pay the extra 800$ fee the hotel requested. STAY AWAY FROM EXPEDIA!

      I rented a car through Expedia. It broke down after 4 days of an 8-day rental and was towed away and never replaced. The rental company, ******** refused to compensate me. Expedia said nothing could be done. A bunch of criminals.

      Booked last week a trip for 2 family members- and within 1 min the same trip for another 2 family members as Expedia does not accept 2 CC for one booking. The same Trip went up by over $300. Called ****************** after even talking to the Supervisor we were told there is nothing they can do. I cancelled the first booking- got half of the Refund within 48 h but Expedia kept on charging the booking several times - then reversed. It maxed out my CC - called Expedia back they stated they cant see the charges. Called the Bank and after 6 Business days got my CC cleared. A ten minute simple booking ended up being a big headache. Went to another Site - everything booked -fast and got even a better deal.

      Wish I could leave 0 stars. These people are crooks. DO NOT TRUST THEM OR ANY OTHER THIRD PARTY "TRIP" COMPANY. They take your money and they have no intention of helping when things go bad. You can ask for a refund and they will always find a way to refuse. Ive seen on many accounts where people were left stranded in cities for weeks due to the fact Expedia refused their refund. If you accidentally book with a fruadulent hotel or car rental service, they will not help you uncover the fraud and get your money back. They will literally take the side of the fraudsters over the consumer.

      they charged me for a room I didnt request and kept my money and will not help me to recover it it ended up costing me $710 for a 2 day stay at surf tides in ****************** I have tried and contacted them over and over about this and they hang up on me I am so upset im on a very limited income and I mean very limited ss income and cant afford to loose my money I will never use them again which I didnt know i was in the first place because ***** said he worked for surf tides when in fact he doesnt so he lied to me and stole my money I will inform everyone I know and talk to to stay as far away from this company as possible it made it a horrible trip for me and now I cant pay my rent thanks to this scam of a company I need serious help to retrieve my money asap.... SATAY AWAY FROM EXPEDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!!!!!

      I needed to change a flight date so called to make the change - it took them over an hour to do this on the phone. Paid 300$ to make the change. When the confirmation email came it was the wrong return date. Called back. This phone call took over 75 minutes and they charged me 179$ to make the change.

      Horrific experience. I booked a hotel stay thru Expedia. Expedia hotel reviews were fine. Got to the hotel and it was deserted. A huge parking (like an entire block) lot and only 1 car. ************* were dark and no one was there. As a single woman this was unsafe. I notified Expedia and booked myself a stay elsewhere. Expedia won't refund me. They feel I should have check in and stayed there. I have videos and pictures tobaccos up my experience.

      I have been using Expedia almost exclusively for over a decade. I am a Platinum member. Recently, I started getting emails from Expedia saying I violated their terms of service, and canceling my various bookings. I have spoken to team members about it, and no one has been able to give me an explanation as to why my bookings are being canceled. After speaking to someone online and on the phone this past Friday when my honeymoon hotel was canceled, no one could tell me why I got the email or why my booking was canceled. I received an email the next day with an apology and saying the cancelation was a mistake. They said to continue using my account as usual. Today, 5 of my upcoming bookings were canceled without explanation, and one of them was the hotel where I am staying for my WEDDING. I called Expedia and they said it was their back office team who did this, and they cannot tell me why. **************** said all they could do is send an email to back office to see if they can get back to me. No one has gotten back to me. Their customer service is horrendous and their business practices are deceptive and malicious. I highly recommend booking your travel anywhere but with Expedia.

      I accidentally booked on the American Expedia site for a trip within ******. I live in ******. They charged an extra $150 for the exchange rate and would not refund any of it or help me at all.Terrible customer service and would NOT recommend!

      I booked a reservation for a car rental on Maech 20, 2025. My Reservation was for:. Expedia car rental confirmation -Thu, Mar 27 Car Rental Confirmation 4 events, Thursday, Mar 27 - Sunday,Mar 30 **************************************************************************** *** Your Hertz car rental reservation for a midsize vehicle for 5 passengers in ************ is confirmed for March *****, with a total cost of $222.73, of which $196.22 has been paid.I later was informed from Hertz Rwntal Cars that there were no rental cars available for my date of pick up. I've been waiting for my refund of I reqyetsted my refund on March 22, 2025. Ive been waiting for my refund of $196.22 every since!!!!!I've called everyday for weeks and Expedia's been telling me that another department handles the refunds and an agent from that department will call me back...NO CALL BACK YET AS OF TODAY!At this point, I'm contacting my lawyer and NEVER using a thir party WVER AGAIN!
