Ridiculous. They have no website so you can leave a review. You are given at least 12 different numbers..supposedly customer care numbers..none of which can help you. And they tell me that they can not help me and literally hang up on me. One of the numbers state theyare a company called Frontier and not expedia. They are scams. Do not s hele through them!!

Charged me a package with the seat selection for a flight (significantly higher price than without it). Than I wasn't able to pick a seat, because "the system doesn't allow it".And very rude agent, very unprofessional.

On April 27, 2025 I booked a hotel room through Expedia. On 4/29/25 I received not one but two e-mails stating payment was declined. I got online and booked a room using a different form of payment. On 4/30/25 I called the hotel to be sure my reservation went through only to find out from the hotel I had double reservations because the first room that payment was declined on, had not been cancelled. The hotel informed me I needed to contact Expedia to cancel the first reservation. I was on the phone for well over an hour with ********* (reservation staff) who told me I would have to pay a $400 cancellation fee. He then had me apply for a "loan" to put all combined charges on as he states this was the only way to refund the first rservation. He authorized this loan for $1,500 and was to immediately refund the amount. When I checked in at the hotel, the first reservation was never cancelled. I met with hotel management the next morning who authorized a refund all but 1 night stay on first room. Expedia tried to tell me the hotel did not authorize the refund. I spent several hours on the phone with Expedia and with hotel management to resolve this. I currently am still being charged the $400 cancellation fee (which I purchased cancellation insurance prior), *********** loan of $1,929.65 and my hotel fee of $858.66. I have been told daily by Expedia staff that I may not speak to management and I have been told daily to call the next day after 4p.m. to speak to ********* to dispute loan. When I call they tell me I can not speak to *********. Seeking legal action!

On April 23, 2025, I purchased an airline ticket through Expedia.com with an offered promotion for a 10% discount if I applied for and used a OneKey credit card during checkout. I was approved and immediately used the card without having received its full details (card number, expiration date, or security code).During the payment process, I was prompted only about an insurance adjustment not about any fare change. I completed the purchase believing my total, including insurance and fees, would be US$ 1,288.95.Later, on April 27, while correcting a minor name discrepancy on my ticket, I discovered that I had been charged US$ ********. I was never notified about this airfare increase before finalizing the purchase. Shockingly, the same ticket was still being sold for around US$ ***** shortly after my transaction.Over multiple hours (more than 4.5 hours) between calls and chats with Expedia support, I was partially refunded only US$ ******** still around US$ 900 more than the price initially agreed upon. Additionally, Expedia issued me a US$ 200 OneKey Cash credit, which does not rectify the financial loss I suffered.Issues Experienced:- Unauthorized increase in airfare price during the purchase process without notification.- Misleading promotion involving the OneKey credit card.- Lack of transparency and fair communication.- Significant time lost trying to resolve the issue without proper resolution.

I want to cancel a hotel stay and get a refund. Expedia says repeatedly that they need to speak to the hotel. The decision is theirs. They try to call the hotel and cant get through. I called the hotel directly. I got through right away and the hotel says its Expedias decision. The hotel would be happy to cancel, but its Expedia decision. Its bad enough that theres no flexibility, but to be lied to as well is just too much. Supposedly Ill hear from Expedia within 72 hours. No hotel would be in business if they were incommunicado for 3 days.

I have subscribed to Expedia.com and have used there services 4 times and 2 of the 4 there website has made mistakes, the first one was a wrong hotel booking for the wrong dates and took over a week to contact and get refunded, now this time I was just scrolling through the app to find a hotel and when I checked my bank account money was withdrew for no reason without my consent, because of fraud my bank advised me to cancel my card witch has left me without access to my account therefore putting me in a bad situation financially over the last few days, I have tried repeatedly with no success to contact them through the customer support and let me say this,it is my opinion that it is set up to lead you round and round to the point of mad frustration that one just gives up ,but not me ,not this time

Expedia misrepresented the price of a flights, and after I confirmed/booked the flights, I called Expedia to add my email address to the flight and that is when the agent confirmed the the price of the flights and they had increased by approximately $200 each for two (2) tickets. That was not disclosed at time of purchase. I then wanted to cancel my purchase (which was within an hour of purchasing), they proceeded to tell me I had to pay $100 each to cancel even though they misrepresented the price of the flights. I would never recommend Expedia. Expedia should be able to alert the purchaser that the promo seats are gone before confirming the purchase. This feels like a form of extortion. They would not refund the purchase of the flights until I paid the $200.00.

I ordered flight tickets from Expedia and they made it a nightmare for me for more than a month. After ordered online, i called them to confirm and been told it was a standby that means the airlines can push me back on the departure date. So, i need to pay couple hundreds more to get it confirmed. I paid any way and got confirmed email from Expedia (not the Airlines) I called them back a couple of days later for some inquiries and been told my departure day is "TODAY" and if i don't show up at the airport, everything will become"0"!!! They told me to have to pay a couple hundreds more AGAIN (The second time) for them to reinstate my flight and reorder it. I received a confirmed email from Expedia AGAIN (not from the airlines). A couple days later, i received email from the airlines said my tickets have been cancelled. I chat with Expedia Agent and been promised that some one will call me and they will fix it the same day but nothing happened for4 days. I was very frustrated and felt sick about my trips: no tickets but money has been paid!! I finally contacted my cc and my bank to dispute the charges and got all my money back. I called the airline directly and orders/paid the tickets in about less than 10 minutes. All my flight were confirmed form the airlines. It was easy and the price was Good and still now i don't understand why Expedia made it a nightmare. I paid right? This is the last time i will use Expedia for any trip/travel, sorry bye.

I booked two rooms on Expedia.com in October ****************************** April 2025. I gave my name and the name of my friend traveling with me. I received a confirmation email.I inadvertently booked a third room in December 2024 for April 2025 under my friend's name, but I was logged into expedia.com under my login and with my payment information. I never received an email confirmation and it didn't show on the app on my phone so I assumed the reservation wasn't made.Instead it went to my friend's email address which I had provided because I gave them his email address. When we checked into the hotel they had two reservations for three rooms all charged to my account and my credit card. I engaged Expedia customer support who talked to the hotel but they said it was an Expedia booking problem and since they had our credit card they charged us for three rooms.I am back now and called Expedia April 2025. They explained that if the email address is provided for the hotel occupant, that's who gets the email confirmation. My friend received the confirmation but ignored it.I believe that if I am logged into expedia.com and they are charging my credit card, I own the reservation.Expedia Support agent said that Expedia considers the reservation under the email address and ignores the payment method or website user. This cost us $459 for an unnecessary room and taught me to avoid using Expedia.com going forward.
