      I booked a flight with Expedia going to ***** which is not open yet. Expedia and Singapore Airlines will not do a refund. Singapore airlines shows on website refund has to be done through the travel agent. Expedia gives the run around and will disconnect you. Plus I have 2 minor tickets and they booked them as adults.

      Spent $100 on flight cancellation protection. Ended up needing to cancel the flight and *shocker* - not an available option for my flight. Flight protection is not issued by expedia nor the airline you're flying on, but same random third party insurer. Spent well over an hour on the phone across many painful calls just to figure this out. Scam.

      Expedia helps you look for flights, book them, accepts your money, and send you confirmations on your booked flights. But then when it comes to changes done by the airlines, they send you an email stating that your flight was changed (I booked a one way, got changed to a 1 stop flight) and in the email they only give you 2 options: ACCEPT or CANCEL your flight! wow! really??? so you took my money months in advance and now that changes are made, expedia's solutions is just to offer me to cancel it, yeah what a genius move on costumer service there! but wait, on top of that, before hitting accept I went to ask for help from Expedias customer service, and their answer is that I don't have any other option to accept or to cancel because they say they don't have the power to change your flight, very good liars. They have the power to book them but not to change them? really? they must think we are all stupid! and the agent tells that the the email changes came directly from the airline not from expedia, like if I am not seeing the freaking email in front of me coming from expedia.com. Never again will book through them, I will use them to look for flights then will just go straight to the airlines to book, it will be a lot easier to do claims that thru expedia. They are just ridiculous.

      Expedia cancelled my return flight in error on their part and I found out when I went to board. They then wanted me to purchase another flight and send them the receipt and they would then determine.in 7 to 10 days if they would refund me. They should have just booked me another flight, no questions asked. They sent an email acknowledging their error but no further solutions. They just left us stranded. This is both bad business and bad customer satisfaction and they don't seem to care.

      Made a reservation for a hotel for 3 nights about 1 month prior to stay. I got my itinerary number and confirmation email. The day I arrive at the hotel, the desk person says they don't have my reservation. I opened a chat with expedia support to get answers. It took over 30 minutes to get a hold of someone, and then the following happened.According to the chat agent, they first confirmed that I had indeed been confirmed. They then said they would call the hotel. 20 minutes later, the chat agent gets back to me and says there had been a back end issue and the "back end team" cancelled my reservation and I would receive a refund in **** business days.How is it acceptable to cancel a booking without alerting the customer? I demanded to talk to chat agents manager, who refused and reiterated they could not do anything for me. I ended up having to make my reservation while at the hotel without expedia, who was completely useless with regards to trying to help me come to a solution.

      I bought tickets few months ago through expedia to visit my sick mother in ********. On the day of departure, my daughter and I went to check in at the American Airline counter only to find out that our names not even in the ** system. Apparently Expedia has canceled our tickets without notifying us first. Later they wanted to reschedule our flight but with the price double with what we paid in March. Personally I think this is a scam!!! Expedia sell us tickets at low price then cancel our tickets without even notifying us. Later they try to sell the tickets at higher prices and take advantage of you in your desperate situation. I will never ever use expedia again. Definitely will book direct with airline in the future and cross expedia out forever!
