    The place is run buy someone that never ever makes a mistake or never owns up to the mistakes they do make. Dont bother ordering from this drop shipper with no parts in stock. He relies on others to make his mistakes and that is how he never makes or owns up to one. Bad Business period

    After being a customer for a decade, I'm transitioning elsewhere. The company has gone downhill significantly. Parts listing accuracy is poor now. It's just not worth it anymore to gamble on if they send you the right thing.
    I'd been trying to return some brake rotors which arrived to my shop with no packaging for a few weeks now without luck. RockAuto denies them being the wrong brakes, local parts store gave me different brakes which fit first try. I doubt I'm going to get a refund and will just be out $500 on mystery brakes.
    Previously had an issue that their listing for some axles was incorrect and is an issue with the listing service they pay for. The return process is bad, and they first tried to penalize me as the customer for what's a mistake on their end.
    Their service was always bad, but at least accuracy was good and prices were good. Now it' just not worth the risk. They behave as if they can do no wrong, and alienate their customers.

    Rockauto use to be a main supplier i used for my ford f550. I both two gear boxes so we knew we had the right one. When returning the core and the unused gear box in its original packaging they started since i didn't print out two return labels they were unable to find the part that costed me 300 plus 200 core fee.i reached out to them and they ended our email chain and did nothing to compensate me. Very disappointed

    My hole experience start off cool I inquired about engine a representative reached out we talk I bout a engine and that’s when ** started I was told I will get my engine in 7/10 business days and when that time has pass i call a few times left message and finally got a call back and was told they have issue with delivery I ask why I was told they was gone check into it and get back with me and never did I call and when they decided to answer I was told they will refund me the express fee which I never got as time went on still no engine or refund at this point I’ll at 60 days I’ll calling and calling and I finally got answer I was ask do i I want to cancel the order I said yes and then I was told a ones the other get cancel I will receive a email regarding when I was gone get my money back which I did it said I wood get my money back in 14 business days which was in April 2025 now it’s June I call for 2 weeks straight no response no call back and now when I call Sophia which was my case manager over my account the phone immediately hang up customer service sucks. I will never in life deal with these people.and I feel like they rob me I never got the engine nor my money and now every number I call it hangs up immediately

    if I could leave 0 stars I would- They had no problem taking my money- the website is flawed- when you are confirming your addresses make sure they are infact 100% correct- we did but the website changed the zipcode - parts were sent to wrong town and returned- when you call customer service they refuse to help you - you have to email them- fine paper trail- I was tolds it would be MONTHS for the return to get back to them and they kept closeing the tickets- they then explained that they can not reship the order- we have to reorder- and now they are providing broken tracking numbers and refuse to give me my money back- I have now had to disput the charge with my bank we will never order from rock again -

    Purchased a muffler for $190.00. While it was shipping to me I looked it up again and the price was now advertised as $163.00. Rockauto was not willing to refund the difference. This is a $27.00 difference. Also, the item pictured showed muffler tips and one clamp. According to rock auto they are not included. Very dissatisfied.

    This is a terrible company. I have recently received a wrong part and have been trying to resolve my issue for about a month now. They have no customer service line to talk to anybody about the issue and the very few numbers they had lead to a third party seller that was not helpful and very rude and the corporate line that lead to their Tire Sales department, not even the car parts! I have been trying to resolve my issue for over a month and they’ve refused to help me with my refund for the wrong part that they’ve sent me! I’ve never seen a company as weird as this one, and I won’t be using this auto parts service again!

    Rockauto is terrible. They charged me $18.50 for "special" shipping and one piece showed up days after promised and I'm still waiting for the other part. Worse yet, they have no way to address this rip off.I WILL NEVER use this **** company again!!

    As this was my first time ordering from Rock Auto and due to a defective part, which was a Drive Shaft for my Nissan, a return was made and a credit was issued on the original payment method for the part in the 30 day refund period. I had to incur the expense of a mechanic for the installation and felt I should be reimbursed for the labor charge. It is not my fault the part was defective. Also, there is no where on the website when ordering or returns, that it states Labor and other expenses are not refundable. Due to this first time experience, I will not be ordering from this company in the future. Beware you are out of your money in this situation.
