Coleman Powersports is not honoring the 2 year warranty for my golf cart. They will not submit a claim to fix it. It is within the 2 years. I have been transferred to ************* which I have submitted a claim and have been denied because they are stating Coleman ********** is responsible to honor the warranty.

6/19/23 I purchased a Coleman electric golf cart for the amount of $10,673.93. The golf cart had a two year warranty on everything , the warranty is still in effect. The business was to provide a two year warranty on the golf cart. Coleman Powersports is refusing to cover the cart for the full two year warranty that is not out dated yet. One of the batteries did not hold up before the warranty has expired. The business has not tried to resolve the issue quoting that they no longer warranty any Coleman product. They told me that they have turned everything over to *************. I called Kandi America they told me they are not responsible for the warranty that Coleman sports is responsible for the warranty.

Below is what i sent to Coleman via email. But I have called a dozen times back and forth, and gotten the retailer involved and they're having the same no response or ownership from Coleman."My name is ******* ***** and I purchased a Golf Cart at Lowes on 12-14-2022. The golf cart is not running correctly and is slow and sluggish and does not seem to charge.Your owners manual says to contact you, Coleman Powersports, for repair by calling ************ for warranty service. I understand the warranty is good for (2) years of which as of this date the product is still covered. However, after calling this number , you have an automated message (and same message from a live person) indicating to call Kandi at ************ for repairs for this product. I have spoken with ***** several times over the past two weeks and they tell me they will not cover repairs and that I should contact YOU. It's an endless circle with Coleman Power Sports and Kandi not taking responsibility for my needed repair.I spoke with a Coleman Power Sports customer service person and he indicated the same. Your manual for the product says "Coleman Powersports offers the following warranty to the initial purchaser..." ME. You are responsible for getting me to a service company to effect repairs for my golf cart."I understand there are many people like me having the exact same issues with Coleman. ***** told me to contact the BBB.

I purchased a Coleman golf cart from ****** in *****, ******** which was delivered on Dec. 13th of 2023. The golf cart is now charged to 100% but not charging and will not start. I have called Coleman regarding the warranty as the batteries were supposed to be covered for 2 years. I was told to call Kandi Golf Carts, I called Kandi, at which time I was told to send pictures and submit some info. I submitted all info and pictures. I received an email back stating that Coleman was responsible for this warranty. I called Coleman back and they said ***** was to honor the warranty. I received an email from ***** stating that if I was not satisfied with the response from Coleman to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Neither one of these companies will accept responsibility regarding the warranty., It has been approximately 6 weeks. I have gone back to ****** and they told me to call Coleman. ****** is still selling these golf carts with a warranty that Coleman will not honor. I can use any help in this situation. Please advise. ********* ****** #************

Purchase was Nov/2020 but initial failure was Jan/2021. The delayed report is two-fold: 1.) The manufacturer design flaw caused the drive chain to constantly slip off, making the go-kart inoperable but the solution was to slip the chain back on; a headache but attributed it to needing to adjust the chain tensioner and not a design flaw. 2.) I realized the problem was consistent with all KT 196 go-karts based off people I knew with and online forums expressing the same problem but that it was due to a weld break on the engine mounting bracket. Sure enough, I looked and our mounting bracket weld was broke. (see uploads) I looked online and Coleman Powersports manufactured a "fixed engine bracket" as a replacement part for $40.00. Apparently this meant they knew of the problem if they made that part (refer to uploads). I have waited YEARS for this mysterious "fixed engine bracket" to appear in stock on their website but it has never been! OUT OF STOCK!The basics of the complaint is that I believe Coleman Powersports designed a go-cart with a major design flaw (engine bracket) and provided a fix on their parts ordering website (fixed engine bracket) but never actually had the part available! I waited years to contact them waiting on this part and... surprise... I am out of any warranty they will honor. Yea! Because I was waiting on your part to fix it but apparently it doesn't exist and now I am out of warranty so your off the hook and I and hundreds/thousands of people have busted go-carts we spent over a $1000 on. Infuriating, they said they had the part to cause people to wait for it to be in stock, then when it never came in stock and people inquired, they say we are not responsible because they waited too long. See email.

This is a golf cart. Purchase date was ********* at *****. The batteries will not hold a charge. I am told by Coleman to contact the manufacturer ***** for warranty. ***** says to contact Coleman. The warranty from Coleman is 2 years from purchase date. I have contacted a *** from Coleman before the warranty expired but they will not honor the warranty. I asked for a supervisor to call me but no response. New batteries for this are about $3,000.00 installed.

Purchased a 2023 Coleman golfcart (also tagged Kandi on the cart frame) from Lowes on May 6, 2024. Received a service book including a 2-year warranty titled Coleman. On October 5, 2024, the cart would not charge correctly and quickly lost power and charge. I contacted Coleman who told me they handed over warranty to ***** who built the cart and that ***** was responsible to honor the warranty. I contacted ***** who said Coleman did not hand over warranty and that Coleman is absolutely responsible to cover my warranty. I have been back and forth between these 2 companies for 6 weeks and neither will cover my expenses. I took the cart to a shop recommended by *****. I was told the batteries were no good by the shop. Shop replaced batteries at the cost of $1700+. After weeks of getting no where, I had to pay the shop $1700+ to get my cart back. The shop also got the same runaround from these 2 companies to no *****. I am asking my warranty be honored and my expenses be reimbursed to me. I would also like to mention that since getting my cart back, I am having the same issues that I took it to the shop for (not charging properly and losing chart and power) so clearly there is something else going on as well with the cart and I would like further service expenses be covered through this warranty for the full 2 years as stated in my service booklet.

I purchases a Coleman 4P golf cart manufactured by ***** from ****** on 04/10/23 which comes with a 2 year warranty. The batteries in the golf cart no longer hold a charge. I've confirmed they are no good with a multimeter. When I reached out to the Coleman warranty department they informed me they no longer do warranty work on these golf carts and to contact ***** directly. When I reach out to ***** they tell me that Coleman is considered the dealer and they do the warranty work. I've gone back and forth with both companies now for over 10 calls. At this point I just want someone to assist with this warranty claim.

I purchased a Coleman Powersports golf cart in May of 2023 from ******. Coleman Powersports provided a 2 year warranty with the purchase. Their warranty covers batteries if they fail within the first 2 years. My batteries have failed after only a year and an half. I barely have 200 miles on the golf cart. I tried to file a warranty claim with Coleman Powersports and they are refusing to honor it. They are trying to tell me I have to go through ************* for the claim. I have contacted *****, and they say the warranty has not been transferred to them, and that Coleman Powersports are solely responsible for honoring the warranty for these carts. My cart is pretty useless right now, and I expect Coleman Powersports to honor their warranty and replace these faulty batteries.
