      Ring Central are crooks. We have been with them for years now and are closing our business this year. They say we have a "contract" and are trying to charge us a ridiculous amount to close it. Don't do business with them. It's worse than any cable company contract out there and they sneak in there "contract" every 2 years. How does a business like this stay in business. Terrible customer service and they don't care

      I have been a RingCentral customer for 12+ years. I have tried for the past 2 months to add 2 lines to my service and I cannot get anyone to address my requests. CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS at **********************! I have been paying for the 2 additional lines but cannot use them, and no one will return my calls to address this. I am seeking alternatives for my service.

      This is the worst company. They are absolute bullies and attempt to be demanding and play games. They make it very hard to cancel services. I was with them locked under several long term contracts. Finally was able to cancel after contracts ended. For 4-5 years paid high premium cost monthly anywhere from $500 to $800 month. Today I finally broke free and I cancelled. The representative *********************************** told me that I couldn't cancel the account account today but had to wait until the 13th and I wouldn't receive the prorated difference back even though my account billing ends on the 16th. I was originally told a completely different cancel term. These people will lie to you and mistreat you. Old *********************************** (as if that's really his name... lives in ***************) changes my account login to block me out of the account that I am still paying for. TRUST THESE REVIEWS. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO DO BUSINESS EVEN IF ITS THROUGH A 3RD PARTY BECAUSE THAT WILL BECOME A NIGHTMARE. I KNOW BECAUSE I USED **** FOR MY OTHER BUSINESS. **** WILL "HIDE" THE **** THAT IT IS RINGCENTRAL. I WAS BILLED FOR 1 MONTH OF SERVICE FOR OVER $1,200.00. THANK GOODNESS WE HAD OUT ATTORNEY'S GET US OUT OF THE LYING DECITFUL CONTRACT MASKED BY ****.

      Terrible company. They've engineered their systems to be incredibly opaque, making it near impossible to cancel or revise payment methods. I've written them four times to cancel my account and they refuse to do so. Stay away. There are better PBX providers.

      I don't even know where to begin. I currently have two open accounts that I am paying for because of a technical issue between ********************************** I signed up for Spectrum Connect with RingCentral (a partnership between the two companies in which billing is handled thru Spectrum and the ***************** services are entirely RingCentral). I had my 3 local phone numbers ported to RingCentral after signing up with Connect. Everything was working fine for 3 days until out of the blue we are kicked out of our accounts and were denied access back in. I call Spectrum, they tell me to call RingCentral, RingCentral's solution was for me to open a RingCentral account and transfer the numbers from my Connect account to a RingCentral account. Once I opened a RingCentral account and signed a contract with them I was told after spending hours on the phone with both Spectrum and RingCentral, that RingCentral cannot take the numbers from the Connect account because they do not have access to it and only Spectrum does, Spectrum is telling me the opposite and that they do not have my phone numbers. I could go into much more detail but the bottom line is that now I am stuck with 2 open accounts: 1 with Spectrum that I'm forced to keep open currently for my business to function and 1 with RingCentral that is completely useless to me because it does not have my phone numbers on it like I was promised. Spectrum and RingCentral are not resolving this issue for me as far as I know. I am attempting to get out of my contract with RingCentral but have received no response from my account manager who has been completely misleading about the status of my case and has given me NO details about what's being done to resolve my issue after I've been told multiple times it would be taken care of. I understand this partnership with Spectrum is VERY new and so there is a learning curve but why should the customer have to pay for a company's technical error?

      Horrible company. They keep you on auto renewal with a contract. I called to be taken off of auto renew. They assured me it wouldnt renew. I talked to my rep a couple months before the contract renewal date and he assured me it was not on auto renew. Guess what, it was and the company asked me if I have an email proving that I requested. Ridiculous how they trap you in.

      I subscribed to this service in 2021 in order to fax some work documents. This was supposed to be a 1 time thing I needed that has turned into a nightmare. I have called the number to cancel my subscription which ended up only making it impossible for me to login or reset my password to gain access, but have been charged $24.20 every month for 36 months. I have emailed with customer service representatives with the company on 3 separate occasions with 3 different people. Each time I'm told we will forward this to the right department and then I'm ghosted. I've filed a fraud claim with my bank in order to stop all future transactions. This company is a scam and all they want to do is steal your money. If I thought I could get my over $800 back I would pursue it.

      If it was possible to give a company zero stars I would. Similar to the other complaints, RingCentral's lack of customer service and inability to terminate service are the only thing this company should be known for. It is shocking that the BBB would give this company an overall rating of A+ given the hundreds of complaints and poor reviews.Verbal notifications of termination prior to contract ending were never noted to the account. When automatic charges continued after termination date, we were told that we could not end without paying an early termination fee, nor could have any charges refunded. We were told we could not have access to the original contract and the company was not required to send any notification of renewal (even with changes in pricing). It took months to finally cancel the account and have access to the contract, and this only happened by not allowing our call to be transferred or call returned. We had to stay on the line, insist on confirmations being emailed while we were holding, and threaten legal action, and only then we were granted an "exception" to paying an early termination fee. It was after 6 months of trying to cancel that we were even told that cancellations needed to be done in writing. It's as if with each progressive phone call they added another barrier to cancellation with the intent to entrap consumers into months of charges. No one has the authority or power to act on behalf of the customer with this company. Stay away!

      They auto-renewed a 2 year contract after a price change which is illegal, you can't do that, we were never informed of a price change and we wanted to cancel. They want to charge us an $866 cancelation fee for an illegal renewal of a contract 2 days ago, it's ridiculous.

      What a horrible company. Have been a ten year customer and they are scamming me for services they removed. Avoid them at all costs. Use Twilio or other honest provider.
