      Emailed Adept Powersports in regards to an item purchased. Even if I had made a simple mistake and not seen the difference between the two, and yes, I did confirm the part number directly from a ***** dealership, this is absolutely no way to conduct customer service. This is absolutely how you loose business.Hi, why would you have this "impression"? You did not order a "lock set", what you ordered was***** - SWITCH, COMBINATION, Part # *****-MEG-671, whichis EXACTLY what we shipped to you.Our website CLEARLY shows what the item is - in a picture, even if you cannot understand that a "switch" is not a "set of locks". It literally could not be more clearer on our website than a literal drawing of exactly what the item looks like.***************************************************************************************************************************** You clearly did NOT search for a specific part number, and if you did, you search for the number of the switch, not the "set" which is not even a thing you can buy. Tell us what you searched, what's the part number you werelooking for?Not sure what makes you think it's a "set" - clearly on that same page, you will see #1, which is called a "LOCK SET" (part number35010-MEG-670) - hey look at that it's literally called a "LOCK SET"! which you DID NOT order. You are welcome to order it.Literally we cannot do anything more than literally provide customers a drawing made for a 5 year old to understand.We are really not happy as well - not happy that customers like you waste our time. We clearly see you don't care about your time or bother to look at what you are purchasing but we care about our time.If the item is not what you want, you are welcome to request an RMA and return it.Thank you

      Canceled my order and blocked me because I used capital letters and !!! in my order status! Thats a new one for me!

      We are innovative, that's true, however it's not the capital letters. The problem is you seemed to be upset at us about an item that is on backorder from the manufacturer. It's like being upset at your local grocery store because it rained in your city after the forecast said it will. Our website clearly showed availability before you placed the order, showing the item was on backorder, and all you have to do is decide whether you want to wait or not. Instead we got " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW MUCH LONGER OR DO I NEED TO ORDER FROM ANOTHER COMPANY????????????" - you are being upset at the wrong company. If you are upset that ****** cannot manufacture replacement parts fast enough, your gripe is with them. We can just let you backorder something if it's not available and you can decide whether you want to wait or not. BTW: look at that, you do know how to type normally without "yelling", you've done it here! exciting.

      Received the exact part I order. It showed up within 3 days. I couldnt find it anywhere else. Will definitely use them again if needed. Not sure why all the negative reviews.

      Just as I thought. I left a review before for five stars just because of the replies of the owner. Well I placed my order and I got all my parts in 8 and 1/2 days. Everything was in the box package very well. All the items are at least between a dollar and $10 cheaper than Partzilla. I don't understand why there's so many bad reviews. You guys got to research your bikes and order to correct parts. I didn't have to communicate through customer service so I can't speak on how customer service is but I didn't have a problem. They'll definitely be getting more business for me. Thank you adept power sports.

      I am giving 5 stars for the owners entertaining responses. I am restoring a **** vz800. Have 30 items in my save list and will order shortly. I know how to research parts for my bikes and I am sure I will get the correct items. Any idiot that reads these bad reviews can see they are all horsecrap. There is no personal accountability anymore. The bad reviews are what made me a customer.

      The business should be shut down and everyone there fired, Most unprofessional group of people I've ever talked to, no matter what you say or do It is your fault and you're in a fantasy world? look at their responses to the reviews and the words they use. Are those the responses from the people you want to deal with?

      Inept Powersports is more accurate. They failed to deliver the items ordered then they cop an attitude. Check out this email exchange:

      We already sent you an email about this. The order was shipped to you and returned to us as "Insufficient address". It will be processed as a return since it obviously cannot be canceled and has already been shipped and returned.
      20% restocking fee applies to all OEM parts returns and we don't refund shipping on orders we already shipped.

      Since you are deciding to do this the hard way - by making dumb threats, your email is now blocked as Spam and you are blocked from ordering on our website in the future.

      Good luck.

      Obviously this is how they make money, charge you, fail to deliver parts probably due to creating inaccurate shipping label, getting parts back then they make 20%, resell same parts. Bad attitude customer no service rep needs a better education to get a more useful, meaningful job than a low skill, low pay, low mental capacity customer service rep that insults customers who fund her employer. I am forced to leave 1 star or this won't post but my 1st preference is zero stars.

      Wow this guys is so clever "Inept Powersports"? Must be a mensa member.

      Yes, Michael Turnick from Pickens, SC emailed us to "cancel his order", AFTER the order was shipped out to to him. If anyone doesn't understand that we cannot cancel an order that has been shipped, well then Michael Turnick is the man you should listen to. Yes, when something we shipped is returned, it is process as a return. We offered to resend it for FREE, at our expense a second time, but Michael Turnick decided he doesn't want to. So we processed the return for him per HIS request. And yes, 20% restocking fee applies to OEM parts returns. Don't worry about Michael though - he disputed the credit card charge so he can waste even more of our time - but unfortunately for the Michael Turnick fans, the credit card companies honor our clearly published policies, just like we honor their policies, so all Michael Turnick did is waste everyone's time.

      And no, the address was NOT inaccurate. The address was exactly what Michael Turnick entered when he placed his order. Now it's possible Michael Turnick entered the address inaccurately, we understand, and that's why we offered to resend it to him. We only know what you enter on the order, and cannot read minds. But instead Michael Turnick decided to throw a tantrum, like a baby, even though we are getting he is way way older than a little baby. Kind of sad to see how some people never really grow up.

      And no - we don't "make money" on returns. That's has to be the dumbest thing Michael Turnick said. But as you can see from the rest of it, he isn't too bright in the first place. We make money from selling product - not returns. So the conspiracy theory here is that we want to spend money on shipping, packaging, and dealing with dumb emails, chargebacks and reviews because we want to "make money off returns"? Wow again.
