      Services were paid to this company on 9/9/2021 to help relieve tax debt from 2020. Initially $3456 was collected. They helped me get a loan to make this initial payment. From September 2021 - February 2022 I was making status calls re: my case and was being told that the *** is slow, etc. February 2022, I make my status call and am on hold for a while, passed around from department to department and finally end up in their "legal" ***** where I spoke with someone who tells me that they need to file a Penalty Abatement form which they can do for me but I need to give them authority to do so and that comes along with a $1500 cost. I was assured that they would reduce by debt by at least half, but the goal is for me to walk away with no liability. Since then, I have spoken to numerous reps, all telling me that they've basically done their part and wait a few weeks and callback for a resolution. The last person that I spoke with on October 12, 2023 mentioned something about identity theft on my social, which I am not aware of, and requested the last 2 years of taxes, to get this resolved. I sent that information over on 10/22/23 and have not received a response or any follow up. After a phone call to the office today, 1/25/24, she relayed a message to me through the receptionist, stating that she received my files and it is in review with the legal team...again. Reps that I have spoken with are: ********************* who filed the Penalty Abatement in 2022; **** on 2/10/22 who told me that they are awaiting a payoff letter in a couple of days; ***** on 12/15/22 who's call was disconnected. 12/15/22 I spoke with ********************* in resolution **** who tells me that they sent a form to the *** to remove the penalty and interest and that I should call back in 4-6 weeks. Called ********************* back at ************ on 2/18/22 with no answer. Called again 2/22/22 - No answer.************************* on 6/16/23 and most recently, ********************************* mentioned above

      I am rejecting this response because: It has been seven days and I have not received any communication from this company which is extremely dissapointing but not surprising.  I am only asking for a complete refund of the monies that I paid for services that have yet to be rendered.  As stated previously, besides the lack of communication, there has been 0 (ZERO) tax debt relief for me.  I setup the payment plan almost 3 years ago and have been paying it on my own since then.  If I don't get resolution this company will be out a whole lot more that the $5K that I paid for services becuase I will be contacting an attorney and a suit will be filed.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me at the moment.  I reached out to them to request a document confirming that my tax bill has been settled (since I have yet to receive direct communication from them).  However, I was told that this letter should come from the IRS.  ******, stated that she will follow up with them to resend.  I am taking the company's word for it that my debt has been clasified as non-collectable and hope that this is indeed true.  I will say that if I knew that submitting this complaint would get this company to acknowledge me and do the job that i paid them to do, I would have submitted this complaint a year ago.  Thank you.

      I filed this complaint on April 11, 23. I received a call from a mediator ******************* Reputation defender that tried to resolve the issue. An agreement was reached for a full refund but as of this date no refund has been issued by NTAS.Here's original complaint.National Tax Advisory took my payments. Once payments where completed they stopped responding claiming ********************* no longer works there and a new agent was being assigned. Two new agents since but nothing ever was arranged to move forward. I asked for a refund and was only given an email to make the request. *** needs to refund for work not rendered.

      Six months ago I called National Tax Advisors to inquire about how my case with the irs is doing. They told me I'm still on a probation. I informed them that my tax return for 2022 that I owed the irs ****. Dollars. They told me don't ever talk to the irs and told me not to pay them.I called today 9/25/2023 they told me that they had to do a form once a year. The process is going to cost ****. Dollars so I have already payed them ****. I have started out with the irs at ****. Now with the ****. AND ****. IS ******. So I'm right back when I started. They also called me a lier and said they never told me not to pay the irs. I have wasted ****. Now I consider National Tax Advisors to be crooks.

      I am rejecting this response because: If they can lie to the BBB and they lied to me. This is what they said.

When I called them on 9/25/2023 to see what is going on with my irs case they told me that they do a form review and hearing with the irs once a year and it's going to cost *****. TO *****. I have heard nothing in 2020-nothing in 2021nothing in 2022 and nothing in 2023 till I called them on 9/25/2023. I have sent them everything letter from the irs I have received. Never got any response or call to inform me about anything. They have done nothing to improve my tax resolution with the money they want now I will am right back to where I started and more. This kind of company should be put out of the business. Scam.

      NATIONAL TAX ADVISORY SERVICES WAS HANDLING MY CASE FOR IRS PAST DUE TAXES AND WAS CHARGING ME $200 A MONTH FOR SERVICES SINCE SEPTEMBER 2020 AND IN JUNE TOOK MONEY FROM MY **** DEBIT ACCOUNT WITHOT AUTHORIZATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,100 WHICH MADE MY PERSONAL CHECKING ACCOUNT NEGATIVE . I AM REQUESTING FOR THAT REFUND OF $1,100 BACK AND i HAVE PROOF FROM MY BANK OF THE CLAIM PLUS MY TERMINATION LETTER TO THEM WHICH WILL BE ATTACHED AS EVIDENCE.

      we are very confused about this complaint.  We got the client into a cnc status which client will never have to pay on the debt.  We did exactly what we were hired to do.  Now client wants a refund after we did the work?  Come on,  the world doesn't work like that.

      I am rejecting this response because:as I stated I am being garnished from the *** from both jobs for back taxes so how did they do their job, all they did was charge me for services they didn't provide. I skdi stated they took $1,100 payment that was unauthorized from my bank scckubt which I also showed proof of. Tell them I want my money in full because they did nothing for me but bill me monthly and took payments for services they never provided.

      It has also come to our attention that consumer has charged back their payment to us.  so not only have we go the consumer into cnc, but now we haven't been paid for it.  and on top of that,  consumer makes a BBB complaint.  So consumer got exactly what they wanted for free and then tarnished our reputation.

      I am rejecting this response because: I am a person, I am not a part of a smear campaign this company has been calling me and leaving voicemails saying that I have tax issues that I do not. I cannot attach a screenshot of the voicemail translation and  cannot attach the voicemail. Your program says they are too big Here is a copy of the voicemail translation:

      Hey there I am must've missed you is ******* over at him national tax advisory services LLC I tried the last week as well and this is a follow up notification regarding the new zero tax program that is now open for you and it looks like you possibly have some past money that's due which we can squash with this new deal basically it becomes noncollectible but him you must elect to enroll this month so um give me a shout back at ************ again just from cc at ************ thank you and talk to you later today

      Phone is on the national do not call list, but I got SEVERAL calls from a "*******" (assuming it is an AI generated voice, poorly pretending to be human) who says, "Looks like you have taxes coming due"...This would imply this company has personal information about me that I never disclosed, else they are subversively trying to scare people into thinking maybe they have tax due and they better call back for find out what it is. It's a manipulative statement to scam someone to call them back or they criminally have access to people's private tax information. The inbound call number does not correspond with the call back number they provide - completely different number, which then reroutes the call to individuals. Clearly they are exploiting many numbers to prevent getting caught for violating *** do not call regulations. A number of complaints exist on the web about this company. I am filing here to expose them further and WILL be filing a formal complaint with the *** and my State Attorney General. Furthermore, when I called the number they provided, no apology for violating Federal regulations, they claimed I was wasting their time for not having an issue they could help me with! They did provide the number to call their parent company to be removed - I shouldn't have to do this if they are following regulations.

      a smear campaign?   Watch it, when I take the recordings and phone logs to court for your now libel stating that I am making a false complaint,, you not only will have this recorded complaint but also a legal action on behalf of the court and the *** for violating the National do not call list.   Not to mention the *** for subversive advertising and solicitation techniques to scare people into your services.    I am not messing  around  or have time for smears.  I am sick of having my resources consumed by companies like yours who do not follow the rules with telemarketing and on top of it prey on people with fear tactics to make them think they need your services.

      attached is ONE example, more will go into gje *** complaint, keep up the attitude  as bad as the person on your recorded line when I told them they were violating the national do not call list.   

      You got proof I am part of some ridiculous smear campaign?  Idiot response, an ethical company would have simply apologized for the inconvenience and at least pretend to investigate deeper.   Especially since I wasnt asking for anything except you respect the do not call list.   This was a slap on the hands and wakeup call going to the BBB instead of the ***** keep it up and I will go for damages I am entitled to.  Stop robo calling and this wont happen.   You robocalled end wrong person this time who doesnt appreciate being told I have some tax account you can help when that I dont have you know that is unethical and you prey on people who dont know any better

      This picture of my phone and the voice mail from you along next to a note about your ridiculous excuse to take ownership?    

      Like I have time to do false claims?  At this point, now I am going to file a claim with the ****   I tried to be nice and make you aware in hopes you would do the right thing and simply apologize and do not abuse the National do not call list. 

      Now as a matter of principle, I am filing a formal complain with the ****  Congratulations, you will get lots of proof now.

      I have been dealing with this company for the last 2 years.... about my taxes with the *** , I can not get anyone to call me back with a consistent answer and they still have not resolved my tax issue from 2018...No one will call email, or explain why the communication has fallen through, and I keep getting the run around... I have over 7 people and phone numbers that either they don't work there anymore and have no idea what I am talking about. I need some help... Thank you

      I have been getting numerous repeated nuisance phone calls daily for weeks at least from this company, always from different phone numbers all over the country, I do not answer them but they leave voicemails to call them back at one particular number. Please get them to stop calling and bothering me.
