I ordered jeans from a Poshmark vendor called @simpledecisions. The vendor is based in ***********. I placed the order on April 5. The vendor advertises that they send products within 24 hours. On April 8 I was notified by email that the vendor cancelled the order. Why did Poshmark give the vendor a 5 star rating if the vendor provides false advertising for products that they either don't have or don't send within 24 hours? Why doesn't Poshmark allow me to post a review and rating for poor customer service provided by the vendor that cancelled the order with false advertising? I requested that Poshmark review the situation and never received a response, so why does Poshmark provide poor customer service? I would now rate the vendor and Poshmark as a zero.Business Response

I am filing this complaint due to Poshmarks unfair handling of an authenticity dispute and request either the return of my item or a full refund of $360.On March 31, 2025, I sold a designer dress through Poshmark. The buyer disputed its authenticity but only provided a screenshot from an unknown websitenot a photo of the actual item. Meanwhile, my account was flagged, preventing me from responding through the app.I immediately replied to Poshmarks support email with high-resolution photos proving the items authenticity. However, within eight hours, Poshmark approved the buyers claim without reviewing my evidence or requesting any real proof from the buyer. I received no response to my follow-up ********* a result, I lost both the dress and the payment. This decision is deeply flawed for the following reasons:I was denied a fair chance to respond due to an account *************************** failed to review my submitted evidence.The same dress (different size) was sold by my sister on Poshmark and passed their authenticity check.Resolution Sought:I request that Poshmark conduct an official authenticity review of the item. I ordered a dress on 3/28/25 for my daughters prom that was this weekend (4/5). The dress was over $500 so it had to go through authentication at PM** before it could be shipped to me. I immediately emailed and asked if we could skip that as I knew it was going to be a tight turn around & quite frankly I didnt care about the authentication. They said no, citing benefits to me (none have been had). The dress was shipped from the seller the next day in ** to ** and was scheduled to arrive Mon 3/31 at PM**. Instead, my dress sat in ******** (I dont know why it went to ********) for days before arriving in ** on Friday 4/4, the day before the event. I had emailed customer service repeatedly, begging for help as I didnt have another $500 to replace the dress they insisted had to go through them first. I also contacted them on **. No one provided any solution or help at any point in our interaction. I got the notification that the dress was received and then within an hour it was authenticated on that Friday. I messaged again because I thought maybe they could overnight it and my daughter could wear the dress she had her heart set on. They have not responded and it is now Tuesday, 4/8 and my dress is STILL not here and I had to purchase a new dress for my disappointed child. The fact that I have to email and wait days for a response and there are no other options to contact anyone is absurd. They also had the dress shipped from ** to the ** with no insurance on it so if it was lost in ** (which was a possibility since **** had no movement info for 2 days when I called them), it wasnt insured. This whole process has been horrible and the agent I have been interacting with never offered any help or solutions - just telling me to wait until 4/7 (2 days after the event) to report back if the dress made no movement. Im now out additional money because these practices and left frustrated and with no answers due to the lack of customer service.Business Response

I do have an issue with the dress, I have an issue with the fact that it arrived days after the event, I had spend another $500 on a different dress, and not one agent cared to help me at all during the entire process

Not one person has cared about my actual complaint, they just keep circumventing the actual customer service issue I have brought forth. They do not care and they will stand behind the atrocious system they have in place that resulted in me having to spend an additional $500 and have an upset kid. Poshmark has a live show feature that I have never used before and am unfamiliar with entirely. I opened up a liveshow on my phone application and the app glitched and ended up placing a bid when I was not even aware of what was happening. I immediately messaged the seller and she ignored me. I messaged the seller WITHIN MINUTES of realizing what had happened and explained that I did not mean to make a bid, I do not have the money to spend, and I am not even sure how it happened. I got absolutely no response. Come to find out, this is a common occurrence. I checked Reddit, there are DOZENS of threads and posts from other individuals that have been scammed by Poshmark due to their faulty application when it comes to "live show" auctions. This is unacceptable that Poshmark has a faulty application that ended up taking money out of my account due to an application glitch all in the matter of 10 seconds. Poshmark needs to fix their application so that this does not happen to other shoppers. I do not have $45 to spare this month on an overpriced pleather bag that I was not ever intending on making an offer for let alone buying. The app glitched and sent through the offer (which I did not make, I do not know how it even happened. One second I was scrolling and the next I received a notification that my offer was accepted.) The fact that Poshmark allows sellers to take advantage of this is abhorrent. I am not even able to contact anyone at Poshmark to make a complaint or even open a dispute.Business Response

On 3/29/25 I placed an order on Poshmark for a pair of shoes. The listing for the order says never worn and is in very good condition. Upon receiving my order on 4/3/25 I noticed that there was padding in the shoes protecting the back of the heel inside of both shoes and the soles looked worn slightly. Also, the shoes did not fit. I immediately contacted the seller and informed her that I would be sending the shoes back to her. I mailed the shoes back on 4/4/25 through ****. While having a conversation with the seller on 4/4/25 I mistakenly hit that I accepted the order. I immediately contacted the seller as well as Poshmark. Poshmark stated that since I accepted the order it could not be reversed. The seller was willing to refund the money since I was not satisfied with the order. This is unfair and I am requesting a refund for the shoes and the cost of shipping.Business Response

I sold a I.AM.GIA tracksuit, which was brand new with tags on Poshmark ****** on March 26th, 2025. The buyer received her parcel yesterday, Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025. On my app, it says oder complete and the amount ($144.00 CAD to be exact) is redeemable, however, when i click to redeem it as per usual, it says this function has been disabled. I never had this issue before or received any sort of error message like this. I have sent Poshmark 12 e-mails asking them to release rhe funds and why my account seems to he suspended, however they have not replied even once. I dont know what to do. I know for a fact i did not break any infractions, i have 5 star reviews. I opened an account on ********************** to sell excess inventory of which I supply to major retailers in the ***. I listed items that had been purchased from outside the *** which aligns with my business thats been trading for 8 yrs. Immediate after listing items I was spammed by members on Poshmark claims items where fake, I dont deal in fake items.I shipped multiple orders and one buyer filed a claim stating the items he was reviewed was fake but I listed the actual image showing all labels within the item itself and explained the item was purchase from a Korean retailer and agreed for the buyer to return the item as I didnt want any ill feeling which she did, then I sold multiplies and received 5***** reviews for those items again all items shipped where the actual items listed on the website. Then another buyer made a claim blasting the item shipped was not authentic, I said ok, just return it as I cant spend my time trying to explain that the stock came from a famous online seller in *****. I offered to pay for the return and then to my horror Poshmark delisted all my items. I had a balance to draw down and I added my bank account to have it transferred to my account within 3 days. Its now been 12 days and no deposit has been made by Poshmark. I wrote to Poshmark after 7 days asking where my funds where and they ignored my message. I wrote to them again today and got a flipping response saying we are not continuing with you as we believe you sold fakes. This statement was made without any supporting evidence and they cant provide that as I do not deal in fake goods. My message was asking where is my $800 that I traced to my account and it shows in process. I wrote back and said you cannot steal my money and I want my money within 3 days otherwise I will be forced to issue legal processing against Poshmark for theft of my funds. I sold an item on their platform the buyer didnt look at the photo listed showing the item had a flaw from being wrapped in original plastic that wouldnt come off the side. It was shown in photos and description. Buyer asked for half off the item and I agreed. After buyer receives the item she flies in to a rage about the item saying she didnt see the photo and is demanding a refund. Now her temper is getting scary and I replied that she didnt bother to read or look at the photos and was given a heavy discount. She then begins to act in a manner thats is scaring me saying I had **** well better take the item back or else! I was feeling scared and being harassed w messages and comments from the buyer I agreed. She then post a photo of her damaging the item shes open a case for. Who in their right mind would do this. Poshmark doesnt look at the damage she does approves the return. When I finally log back in I see the item Is going back to me however I Didnt add my building number for safety reasons given her unstable behavior of messaging me non stop and ruining the item. Poshmark emailed me to not respond to her messages she was in violation of their guidelines and to block her. I listened to what they said. So now the package gets returned back to her, she gets refunded and Im out 600 dollars *** dont have the item I sold. Poshmark has told me that even though the buyer appears unsafe and unstable I still need to give her my unit number. I need to be paid on this item. I offered them a option to send the item back to Poshmark and Poshmark may get my new building number for the final delivery, but Poshmark sends a email saying they are allowed to keep the money and the product after 24 hours. Currently Poshmark is solely responsible for a replacement of the item at FULL price.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Poshmark never had possession of the sunglasses so how can you determine that by a photo of the buyer damagign sunglasses. Your stealing and this is theft I have provided my receipt of purchase. You allowed the buyer the keep the authentic sunglasses and the funds, this is theft. I will be filing a small claims case against Poshmark and the buyer for stealing.. I strongly encourage you to follow the law and know that you never asked to authentic these at your office you took the word of a buyer who had remorse and harassed about getting a refund. You will be be responsible for all my court fees travel to get paid on this or my item back.

I am rejecting this response because Poshmark is engaging in more loes and theft. You cannot keep the item and the funds. Both Poshmark and the buyer will be taken to small claims court for the full amount of the item. Poshmarks abuse and theft warrants action from a court. I have my receipt of purchase of the item which Poshmark falsely claimed was not authentic WITHOUT even inspecting the item in person. Poshmak allowed a fraudulent return from a scam buyer who couldnt afford the item and damaged the lens. Poshmark social media advises me they would never keep the item and the funds that would be considered theft. I strongly encourage you to stop abusing users with lies and unethical behavior. We look forward to resolving this in a court of law. As we have attached the receipt which show the return case should have never been opened but Poshmark allowed the buyer to harass and threaten seller to return. Thank you
