In order to be a verified seller on this website, as a first *********************, Poshmark has sellers go through a supposedly secure and verified process where they ask you to engage in a process where they place a hold on your bank account or debit card to ensure that you are a legitimate person and that you are the card holder. During this process you must be on a support chat and in contact with your bank account. They require that you also have a minimum of $300 in your bank account to support the hold. They place a hold on your account for a random dollar amount, text you a random series of numbers and ask that you send them this number via the support chat and the dollar amount of the hold they placed in your bank account. The ******************** employee I was working with took over $600, refused to verify my account, sent a meme of a cat, called me a b**** and closed out of the chat.

I purchased a pre-owned Lv bag from Poshmark and the seller said it was preloved but in perfect condition with a scale of 10/10 when I received the bag it had major tarnishing on the gold hardware not only the gold hardware on the zipper thats been shown on the list but all the gold hardware and it has smell inside and creases as well. I reached out to Poshmark for a return but Poshmark decided that the bag is not subject to a return. The seller lied to me because in our bundle conversation saying the bag looks brand new the bag I received does not look brand new. I am asking Poshmark to return my money because I am not paying for the bag that was not described honestly by the seller.

Poshmark Support had an email message to me today saying that the seller did mention on her list that the item may show some wear. Yes, the seller said that but the seller said that the item is in perfect condition 10/10. When I asked the seller in our bundle conversation if there was more issue that she never mentioned on her post the seller told me that the bag looks new. So I trusted the seller in her words of telling me that the item looked brand new even if she had mentioned on her post that the bag may show wear because it is the words of the seller whos holding the bag that the bag looks brand new. So I was expecting the bag just had minor signs of usage because it is preloved and after the seller told me that the bag looks brand new.
The Poshmark is a big joke! Just altering the money they can get from completing that purchase.

I am rejecting this response because: Poshmark said the item is as described but it is not. Yes the seller described it as preloved that *** show wears but if you take a look of the descriptions on the photo I provided the seller said it's in perfect condition with a rate of 10/10. And in my conversation with the seller, I asked what are the other isuuse of the bag and the seller told me again that the bag looks brand new. And that's the reason why I bought it with the descriptions being stated, the seller told me the bag looks brand new which is a lie. The bag doesn't looks brand new as it was described to me by the seller on the bundle conversation. The seller lied to me.

      Complaint: 21897358

Of course Poshmark won't care at all that I was been lied by the seller. I trusted the last words of the seller when seller told me the bag looks brand new over seller's previous post description of the item because the description got posted first and the last words of the patient convinced me to but the item which is lie. And Poshmark did not take a look of my conversation with the seller on the bundle that seller told me the bags looks brand new even she described it on her listing that it's preloved and me shows wears. The lst words of the seller to me is that her bag looks brand new. It is not fair for me to be lied by a seller. But of course Poshmark just go by the descriptions listed by the seller because Poshmark just after their 20% commission from the seller and trust me I will never ever recommend Poshmark to all the people I know. I will tell them my bad experience from Poshmark. They're all about their commission, big joke!

Order Id ************************ Total $39.17 On 6/14/24 I made a purchase through Poshmark for a ***************** Hawaiian print shirt that was described as Silk. The tag says silk, the description of the item says silk. Silk is supposed to have a smooth, soft texture. Its a fabric known for its shine, luster, lightweight texture and breathability. I received the shirt **** 6/17/24 and felt with my hands that the shirt wasnt silk material. I immediately contacted the seller on 6/17/24 and communicated that the item wasnt as described, the shirt wasnt silk and I requested a refund. The seller told me that the shirt is a raw material and refused to issue me a refund.6/17/24 I contacted Poshmark, showed pictures as asked proving the shirt wasnt silk. The item was misrepresented. I asked Poshmark to investigate the conversations between the seller and myself so the Poshmark team could see that the seller admitted to the material not being silk. Poshmark told me they would get back to me and asked me to specifically provide more pictures of the tag and garment in natural light. I complied and sent the pictures clearly showing the outside of the shirt being Hawaiian print, and the inside of the shirt is a white color. The shirt is NOT silk.According to Poshmarks terms they state we take an active role to ensure both the buyer and seller have a great experience. I have NOT had a great experience. I have written to Poshmark 7 times requesting to speak to a supervisor, manager, someone on an escalation team. I have reached out to their social media team requesting assistance. Poshmark has made a decision that they believe the seller. I am so disappointed. I bought an item that was misrepresented.I have requested for ***** to be credited to my account. Hello, I recently sold a louis ******* sac plat tote bag on poshmark. The buyer after receiving the item, opened a case stating the bag had water damage and discoloration. I informed poshmark that this was not true, the description and photos clearly showed everything about the bag. Unfortunately poshmark sided with the buyer and now it seems i will be getting a bag with no value anymore. I then debunked their claims and have not heard back from poshmark. The picture in which they claimed showed discoloration was nothing more than a trick with the camera angle. After turning up the brightness and contrast, its revealed that a shadow is causing this discoloration. As for the water damage, there is no possible way that the water damage was caused by me. The bag was stored inside in a water free zone as shown in the pictures of the listing. I fear that the buyer mustve tried washing the bag therefore damaging the fabric inside. Im absolutely devastated by this because not only am I receiving a damaged bag but im losing money. I would like to be compensated for the damage my item has received as I extremely doubt anyone would purchase it in this now ruined state. I was paid $150 for the bag, I atleast want to be compensated that amount.

I made a purchase on the website. I updated my address and contact information since I moved in May. I confirmed on the website that my shipping address was correct. I placed an order by making an offer to a seller for an item they had. I used Apple Pay to pay for my item, which also showed by current shipping address. Somehow, Poshmark still provided the seller with my old address, which is where the item was shipped to. I never received the order and contacted Poshmark about the issue. They basically told me it was my fault because I didnt have my mail forwarded and to contact the new owners of the house or the post office to get the package back. The post office cant do anything and I dont have contact information for the new owners. I am surely not going to just show up at their door either, considering my old address is an hour away from my new house as well. My shipping address was updated, they made the mistake and are basically telling me, too bad.
