I ordered an item from Poshmark And I have yet to hear back from the seller even though the company has already taken my money. They say you cannot cancel until after 8 days which I find unfair. The site is total trash and people looking to buy something from it should go straight to **** or ******. I cannot contact any live agent at this company and have not heard back from them even though I sent them several emails. I placed my first order ever on Poshmark on March 15th. It was shown that the dress was new with tags. As you can see by the photos, the dress was not new with tags. The tag that should have been on the dress if it was new was simply tied onto the hanger loop on the dress. The dress arrived and was ripped in one spot and sewn back together in serveral other spots by string (white as shown in the photos) that doesn't match the dress. No where in the emails I received did it say I had 3 days to "accept" the purchase. I was warned that it might take up to 5 days to ship so when I left to go out of town I didn't worry that I would miss the order. It arrived on the 19th while I was out of town. Again receiving the emails to "accept the purchase" didn't cause alarm as there was no 3 day window mentioned in the reminder emails. On the 24th as soon as I got back to town I emailed the company letting them know that the dress was not as advertised. The store owner tried to blame it on shipping but the bag was completely in tact upon it's arrival. I asked for a refund only to be told by customer service I can only get store credit because I was outside of the 3 day range (which I do not see mentioned in any communication I received). I do not want store credit, I will never shop there again because I can't trust what I'm ordering. I would like a refund for receiving an item that was very clearly not what I ordered. This dress was already a stretch for me as I run a nonprofit that serves disabled children like my son and I cannot afford to get a new one or pay for it to be fixed. I can't order off Poshmark as I don't trust them and my event for my nonprofit that I need the dress for is coming up. I simply ask that you stand behind your customers and do the right thing and refund me.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: in all of the communication I received I never saw anything about there being a three day time Period in which I needed to respond. I was out of town when the Package arrived and opened it immediately upon return.as a company, it seems imperative that you stand by the products you sell, and the people that you allow to sell. As much as I appreciate the one time courtesy of giving me cash to spend on your site, clearly I cannot trust the things that are sold on your site so why would I want to purchase anything again from you?
I am a single mother of a disabled childWho runs in nonprofit. I Went out on a limb to buy this dress for our fundraiser that I am required to attend. I now have no dress and no money to purchase another one.

I am rejecting this response because: No where in any of the communication I received did it say that I had three days to accept what was shipped to me. Had that been the conveyed I would have not ordered this dress until I got home from my trip. The item shipped to me was clearly torn and damaged. The seller tried to blame it on shipping- had I taken that route and said yes I would have gotten a refund but I chose not to lie.It's disgraceful that a business does not stand behind what they sell. Offering store credit when I cannot trust your products to be delivered as advertised is not good business. I am thoroughly disappointed that this is my first (and last) experience with poshmark.

A seller listed an item that was misrepresented as a working item. It was missing a part that caused the item to be inoperable. Nowhere in the listing was it mentioned that the item would not work. Poshmark told me that the item was not misrepresented and was not eligible for a return. I don't understand how a platform that deals with people selling items would allow a seller to not mention in their listing that an item is inoperable. Poshmark gave me a $10 credit towards a future purchase (which says to me that they admit the item was misrepresented) which is not good enough. Over the last year Poshmark has sent fake emails about non-existent infractions only to back peddle their accusations multiple times. Ive repeatedly asked about the information for a contact on their legal team only for them to get back to me saying it was their mistake that they restricted my account randomly. A random girl named ******* accused me of fake items then back peddled her speech. Its just con artistry and cyberbullying at its best.They reinstated it again even today then deactivated it.Business Response

This happened to me for the second time. I sent new dress unworn without tag without any stain. The buyer probably did not like the purchase or it didnt fit so in order to be able to return it she made a stain, took a picture and claimed the dress arrived like that. There is no stain on my photos but how can I prove she created the stain? It happened to me 2 times already and Poshmark did not protect me. It can happen to anyone, someone will destroy the item in order to be able to return it. I will not sell on Poshmark anymore and will go to other websites.Business Response

This is in reference to order number 67dc566e19b4e367629c5921. The buyers address was WRONG (which she stated to me AFTER it was enroute). The post office marked the package return to sender as it obviously could not be delivered. At 1:58pm on 3/28/2025, I emailed poshmark simply informing them that the package is apparently being sent back to me. Some uneducated person from poshmark obviously did not read or look into a single thing that I messaged about and emailed me back on 3/28/2025 at 9:37pm saying thanks for confirming youve received this package back! And CANCELED the sale!! Just literally took it upon themselves to cancel. I have NOT received this package back! And I did not say I did, and I have the proof of exactly what I wrote. Check the tracking!! If this does not get resolved I will be taking this further. I do NOT have my 3 scrub tops that I sold OR the money for them. I sold expensive shoes/slides on March 20 2024 to the buyer @fss777 It was delivered to the buyer on March 24 Then on March 24, the buyer opened the case with complaint that shoes are not authentic which is not true I got email that in case Poshmark approved the buyer case I will get my shoes back. Then I got another email from Poshmark support that they asked buyer to discard the shoes So I didnt get any money or shoes Poshmark support told me that print on the shoes isnt correct ??? I sent them pictures of the shoes that someone posted on Poshmark for $700 with the same print They also can ****** similar shoes Please help me to get my shoes back or reimburse with money because this shoes are 100% authentic and my son pay a lot for them I am selling a lot of expensive items on Poshmark like ****** Chanel etc..Now I am selling Chanel bag and I am very worried that if someone complained about authenticity I wont get the bag or money The support are not competent to make this decisions. Received handbag that smelt like old stale mothballs with stains inside. I immediately contacted the seller via poshmark. Who still has not responded back? I then went ahead and accepted apparent sneakers that arrived the same day went back to check my messages and says that I accepted the handbag, which I did not so I immediately contacted poshmark and they said nothing they could do once I accept in order. I placed an order on Poshmark (Order #**d97bc46b2756f4526cdfd0) and requested a return because the item I received did not match the expected size. I had expected a size XS, but received what I believe to be a size S. The item has no size tag, and it fits significantly larger than expected.I submitted all required return documentation, including photos, through both the Poshmark app and via email. When I didnt receive a response, I followed up to confirm that my materials had been received, attempting to comply with the return process in good faith.Despite this, Poshmark denied my return with the claim that I had not submitted the requested photos, which is false. After I followed up again and reiterated that I had provided them, the justification for denial changed: they claimed the item was not misrepresented.I also compared the item to a pair of XS joggers from Lululemon, a brand with similar sizing to Vuori, which showed a noticeable size discrepancy. Again, the lack of a size tag leads me to believe that the seller was trying to hide the true size of the pants, and the comparison confirmed this belief. I believe the listing was misleading, and I feel that my concerns were dismissed without proper review.I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue directly, but my documentation was either ignored or misrepresented, and the reasoning behind the denial changed mid-case.I am requesting either a full refund and return authorization, or for my case to be properly re-evaluated by someone who will acknowledge the evidence I provided and respond fairly according to Poshmarks stated policies.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
This is not a matter of fit preference the item I received was misrepresented in sizing. I was expecting an XS, but received a S (or what appears to be a S), with no tags indicating the actual size. This is not simply a case of buyers remorse or disliking the fit.
Additionally, my return request was originally denied because Poshmark falsely claimed that I had not submitted the required photos, when I had done so. I proactively followed up to ensure they had been received, and I still received no acknowledgment. Only later did the support team change their reasoning to say the item wasnt misrepresented despite the clear size issue.
I reached out multiple times, and despite my best efforts to communicate and follow their instructions, Poshmark failed to respond in a timely or consistent manner. I am disappointed that this pattern of ignored emails, inconsistent reasoning, and lack of accountability is being brushed aside.
I am still requesting a refund for the item, as the listing was misleading and I did not receive what I expected or what was advertised. I am also disappointed that Poshmark did not address the core of my complaint in their BBB response.

I am rejecting this response because:Their message falsely claims that this matter has been resolved and that I received additional follow-up neither of which is true. I have not received any further communication from Poshmark since their initial denial, and they have not addressed the core issues I raised. My original concern remains valid: (1) I purchased an item that was listed as an XS, but received what is believed to be a Small (a different size than advertised); (2) I submitted the requested photos on time and followed up proactively when I didnt hear back, to ensure they had received them; (3) Poshmark originally denied the return on the basis that I did not submit the photos (which is false), and later shifted their reasoning to say it was a fit issue which disregards the actual misrepresentation of size.
I am especially concerned by how dismissive and inconsistent their support has been. It's extremely disappointing for a business to misrepresent facts in a dispute, fail to engage directly, and close the case without a proper investigation or explanation. Due to this experience and the way it has been handled, I no longer feel comfortable using Poshmark. I will not be making future purchases on the platform and will be advising friends and family to do the same unless policies and customer service practices change. It's unfortunate that a platform that relies on community trust and peer-to-peer commerce would treat legitimate buyer concerns with such disregard.
I am still seeking a refund and a formal acknowledgment of the mishandling of this case.
