in november and December of 2024, I asked customer service reps on 1800 # to close my accounts w/ wellls fargo. I called at least 3 separate times. The reps all had the same answer which was i needed to Verify myself to complete this process. My issue is that i had spent 10 minuets verifying myself to talk to a rep about my account. So nothing they demanded me to do made sense. The account was drawn to zero when i tried to close my account and since then the bank has charged me monthly fees to keep the account open. I just recieved a collections letter because of their refusal to close my account and charging monthly fees. I want this nonesense to end, just close the freaking account. I tried to corrrespond via emails and they all end w/ ( Do not reply ) mailbox not monitered…. I find it, radical for a company to try and make customers jump through hoops to close an account, while it takes 1 Minuet to open w/ just 1 ID.

Three months of fraud across three different credit cards, resulted in me canceling my credit card with Wells Fargo. There seems to be a systemic problem with fraud across there platform. A charge remains of 21.99 from a company that I have no knowledge of, nor did I ever approve this charge.

Our Business account was hacked into, and so we came in and told them that and tried to get them to understand the fraud, they aren't taking any responsibility and won't help us out at all.

On 2-13-2025 I had an out patient procedure scheduled, they charged my card 409.00 and quickly discovered I had already met my maximum out of pocket deductible and voided the charge. I saw the charge on my card and waiting until 3-3-2025 to see the credit from the void. I contacted well fargo on 3-3-2025 and was told the void is not automatic and I needed to open a dispute claim (which I did) and upload the voided receipt (which I did-attached). The claim number is ******** Was told it would take 3 days to see the credit On 3-5-2025, still no credit and I received an email saying WF had been trying to email and call me and I was not responding (attached) - I called WF on 3-7-2025 and spoke to "*****" - he told me those emails are going out in error and WF is trying to fix it. He informed me he did receive the uploads and I should see the credit in 7 days. This morning 3-12-2025, I received another email from WF saying they had been trying to email and call and I was not responding (attached) - I called WF again and spoke to a lady "sounding like she was bothered because she received a call. I was bothered because I should NOT have to be calling to get my credit since the transaction was voided by the merchant. She wanted all the information again and I CLEARLY said I wanted the latest status. She wanted me to have to go through the whole story again and I told her I wanted the status of the credit. Her response was "it's just sitting there". What is taking so long to get my credit since it was VOIDED? THANK YOU!

To whom it may concern,I have had an account with ********************** for over ten years. It was the first account I opened when I was a teenager. In recent years, their greed and lack of care and empathy towards their customers has been despicable. I have asked numerous times from their employees to kindly remove me from auto draft. Basically, if there is no money in the account, DO NOT overdraft me. I was assured this would be rectified but time and time again I was overdrafted and then charged a ghastly fee of $35. I have been given the run by every employee saying this is the policy. These fees were stated to not exceed three charges, this is not the case. Since I was hit by a drunk driver and I informed wellsfargo that I was unable to do my job and may have cash flow issues, Wells Fargo has charged me ****************************** a loss of $665 in my account. Now that I have been overdrafted for sometime (Ive been using my *********** checking account with zero issues during this time) Wells Fargo SUDDENLY discovered the power to disable overdraft and has blocked those charges. The very thing they told me they COULD NOT DO, despite me requesting it over and over again. I find it VERY INTERESTING that they are able to do this NOW and now when Im overdrafted initially. I will gladly pay the negative balance AFTER I am awarded back my overdraft fees that their greedy 250 BILLION DOLLAR company decided they needed form a woman with a broken wrist, a slipped disc, ptsd, the loss of a puppy from the accident and drowning in medical debt. Until this is resolved, I will continue to use my ******* One checking account without fail and with complete confidence in them.

I paid off my car to Wells Fargo. They promised that they would send out a payoff letter that was notarized and signed so that I seek title. The car was paid off on about January 29, 2025. At that time they told me I would receive the payoffletter that was notarized signed within 7 to 10 working days. When I called back to find out where This payoff letter was, they said that they did not receive a request for the payoff letter. I have been waiting over 30 days a payoff letter, I am trying to sell this car, but without that I cannot do anything nor get my funds. I was promised somethingthat was not delivered. Every time that I called Wells Fargo. They came up with a different story. I have spent Numerous hours on the phone with different people. They gave me different information. They even once told me they dont send out payoff letters andthat I do not need it to continue with the sale of my vehicle. They told me that they would send out a title. Then called back again and they said they do not have a title for Illinois that its all electronic. The problem here is that people that for this Corporation do not have the training nor the expertise in helping their customers. In the end, the customer suffer. I need someone to send out a payoff letter that is original as soon as possible.

Wells Fargo has terrible customer service. When you call and speak to them they tell you whatever lies they feel like to get you off the phone and pretend like they are going to help you. They promised me that two $10 cash advance fees would be waived and they only waived one. They are liars and they have zero concern for their customers satisfaction. They only care about taking your money and not their customers. After I pay off my ********************** card balance with them I will be taking my money out of my account and changing to a different bank. They're scam artists. Do not bank with them. Take you money/businesses elsewhere.

Wells Fargo does not allow customers to make online payments on their ********************** card debt unless they make it from another Wells Fargo account, if they have already made a payment from a non-Wells Fargo account that month. Instead they require customers to call a phone number to make the payment. This anti-consumer behavior is intended to push customers to open unneeded and unwanted ********************** accounts and prevents customers from performing good ******************** practices. This is behavior I have not seen implemented by any other bank I've worked with. The message displayed on Wells Fargo's website when trying to make a payment online:"You have reached the daily or monthly limit for the number of online payments to this account(s) made from a non-Wells Fargo account. Please make this payment using a Wells Fargo account or call ************** to make this payment."
