On May 29, 2024 round 3pm I walked into the wells fargo bank location in *************, **********. i handed them a cashiers check in amount if $2500. The teller looked over, scanned and deposited the check. They said the funds are not immediate they will credit at midnight. At midnight the next day $2500 was in my bank. I assumed everything was okay.I had sold furniture to someone on marketplace. I had to zelle $1550 to the movers. Since wells fargo approved the check IN PERSON and 24 hours had gone by i assumed everything was okay. On 5/31 around 8pm at night Wells Fargo decided to reverse the credit and take back the $2500.After multiple calls they just apologized and said that shouldnt have happened An apology is not good enough I need my money back! I walked into the branch and spoke with a person so they could scan and deposit the cashiers check. The bank should have outwardly rejected it right there and then. Also could have rejected it between the deposit and midnight? No one has any explanation as to what happened. I asked for my zelle amount of $1550 back and they could not reverse that either even though they know it is fraud. I put my trust in the bank to lookout for fraud, They have no excuse not to give my money back since it was a mistake on their part for accepting the check.Business Response

I had a fraudulent wire transfer done on line from my savings account. The amount was $25,000. I have email from bank showing it was put on hold when I called to report fraud. I closed the account and opened a new account and they transferred the money 4 days later from the new account. The bank will not give me my money back and I can prove I called to stop the transfer and they did it anyway.Business Response

Wells Fargo waits a week to post reward credits to their credit card balances. This is a shady practice, because it can cause a user to carry a balance past the end of the billing cycle, which can result in the company earning more interest.I use Amex and Chase as well, and their rewards dollars are applied immediately to my balances. This is obviously because the currency is virtual, and there is no money to be moved around that would justify a normal banking turn time.You guys need to change this policy. I opened a card, earned my welcome credit, and it took a week to acknowledge that spending, and now it is taking another two weeks in total to actually receive she credit. I am rejecting this response because: All they've done here is shove the user agreements in my face. My argument is that this company is purposely delaying the processing of rewards in order to keep balances in place past the billing cycle. This no doubt results in more profits. Meanwhile AMEX demonstrates that the delays are not necessary. The rewards are not a physical currency; they are virtual. There is no excuse for not processing them immediately and applying them to the user's balance immediately. The only explanation is that if they drag their feet, users will carry a balance longer.Sincerely,

Wells Fargo arbitrarily decreased credit limit based on one 30 day late with another creditor that was in active dispute for a new car payment that was not due at that time which had been proven by the purchase agreement for the car which then in turn further decreased my credit score after decreasing their limit which put my balance higher with no credit limitBusiness Response

Wells Fargo Auto loan almost paid off and they repossessed vehicle late Feb... Posted their ridiculous late charges and $460 fee added total March 12 2024 payment $1531.84!!!!! Times not greatest refund audit I planned to pay full amount past due of $490 May 2024.... Sister liver failure and I'm caretaker so income been lower than normal. Audit of tax refund delayed my full owe payment plan of past due $490....72; days past due and car never retrieved from previous reposession since they towed hour away from home and it's NOT RUNNING!!$490 PAST DUE & ADDED OVER 200 LATE CHARGES AND ANOTHER $460 REPOSSESS FEE THAT THEY DIDN'T TOW OR ANYTHING SINCE ON THEIR 3RD PARTY TOLL LOT ALREADY FROM PREVIOUS 2MONTHS AGO... There have been numerous disputes with Wells Fargo of letting people take money out of my debit on my checking account or my ********************** card I have disputed them then they send me a letter saying that because they could not contact the person or vendor and get a reply within a certain amount of days that I have to pay for it I found this ridiculous I also find the fact that when I tell them to block companies that keep coming into my bank account when I'm in heart failure waiting on a heart transplant have no income whatsoever that they completely after me appealing it and everything still withdrew my money out of my account so many timesBusiness Response

Wells Fargo has shut down two checking accounts with no explanation or communication. Everytime I call I get a different story but mainly hear this is a back room situation so "I don't know"- I have been a WF customer since 1988 with no issues ever and this is unacceptable treatment. I am moving banks and will be finished with them. Communication and help with any customer service is a mess to say the least. I would like someone to help me, explain and find a way to prioritize good long standing customers - even the rep at the bank has no authority nor has any information - how is this acceptable?Business Response

Wells Fargo canceled my checking account and closed it just a couple days before my social security check was to post..Wells Fargo said my account was in the negative $8 dollars and had been in the negative for 60 days.. I know that was a lie . My social Security check goes direct deposit and every 30 days it gets deposited in the bank..please explain to me how I can be in the negative for 60 days and social Security deposited in every 30 days..because they closed my account they sent back my social Security check to social Security and they caused me to lose my drivers license I was making payment arrangements and I didn't have the money and they suspended my license and I have to pay $425.00 to get them back and I can't I don't have the money for bills and all I need to do because of Wells Fargo..please someone help me..call me ************..Business Response
