I am a homeless, disabled veteran. I have lost access to my account information and have tried multiple times to close my account with Wells Fargo, per phone and submitted notarized documentation through the mail, as requested. **************** representatives have stated that I would have to go to the nearest WelIs Fargo branch to close it, but that is 2 hours away, for I reside in *********, **. Due to the complications of closing the account, this has been holding me up from being sheltered. I just want the account closed so I can finalize my housing opportunity.Business Response

I've been a customer with ********************** since ****. I recently opened a business account. We were expecting a deposit around 90K from one of our clients. There was a deposit in our account for 85, ******. This money was a deposit from a 3rd party and not our client. It was to be sent to a company called Fast Track Construction. It's apparent the company entered the incorrect account number. I was accused from Loss Prevention that I must have given this unknown company my account number. To be accused of this shows lack of understanding and customer service. I received notice that my personal and business account will be closed and that Wells Fargo has decided to not do business with me as this is a risk. Wells Fargo is so quick to dismiss customers who have been there for 26 years. Who makes the decision to close my accounts for a transaction I knew nothing about. After reading other reviews this seems to have happened to other people with Business Accounts. Apparently you also closed their accounts after being with you for ************************************************************************************************ is it the easy out to close people's accounts? I don't understand if the money is returned to the client who entered the incorrect account, that you still refuse to activate my personal and business account. I am rejecting this response because:
When the money was deposited I had no power from September 28 till October 3rd. Due to the hurricane.Wewere expecting a deposit from one of our clients with a deposit of close to 90k. Once I received power we thought that was the deposit. Did not look at all the details. I moved 40k, not knowing Wells Fargo allowed a third party check into my account.Ive reached out to all the Fast Tracks and they do not even know who Framebridge is. Ive sent several emails to their accounting department. Their error has caused you to lose a customer whose had an account with you from ****. Im doing the investigating so you will see it was their error and your error knowing it was 3rd party and should have returned or rejected immediately.

I used the *** in this location to deposit $1,200 cash 9/20/2022 at 11:17pm and that money never posted to my bank account even dho the *** did took my money. I have file a complaint and they open a investigation that turned out they had declined my dispute, I called again to ask why was my dispute close and my money wasn't on my account they sayed that my check was found fraudual. I said I wanted to see that check caused I had only deposited cash and they reopen the claim again and they send me an email yesterday after hrs sayed my claim was close. I called today asking them what happened caused my money is not on the account and they close the claim investigation. They told me that they never found the money and that there is no other option from here. It is not 1 dollar its alot of money I can'tet this go. They expect me to act like nothing happened. I have an email where it says that they had a system issue that's why my money deposited was declined but there *** never gave me the cash back it took it. The *** has camaras... why can't they used it to get to the bottom of this??? Am a single parent and i can't afford to loose this money... Please I need help...!!Business Response

I have reached out to WELLS FARGO BANK. They have failed to provide proof of validation regarding a debt that does not belong to me. They have furnished this alleged debt on my consumer report and have failed to validate the alleged claim pursuant to Sec. 809(b)of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and according 609(a)(1)(A), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit report. We paid off a car loan that originated with Wells Fargo by refinancing through Navy Federal. Wells Fargo knew that the check was from Navy Federal. There was a discrepancy in the payoff amount and which I ultimately paid off. Here we are almost 8 months later and we didnt receive the title and neither did Navy Federal. We are now be charged an extra $200 monthly. We reached out to Wells Fargo and the lady was supposed to send off some paperwork and we still havent heard anything. If we have to, well get a lawyer. This is ridiculous, unprofessional and grotesque behavior.Business Response

Hello, It has been over 15 days and by federal law Wells Fargo should have credited me back all the missing money which they have not. It was about 31,000$ in money stolen from fraud-lent charges. Anytime I try to call anyone on the phone about it they have no information. They said they tried to call me on the 29th and didn't have questions answered well I have proof that I did answer them on that day and call them myself. I ************************* *************) have been a Wells Fargo Customer for over 30 Years. I am an upset customer and a resolution to this nightmare of having been a victim of online Zelle fraud. I need help getting my money back as we did not authorize or approve these Zelles.Recently my daughters account was a victim to ****************. We are frustrated with the Zelle fraud investigators concluding we approved these transactions and are blaming us. Why would we be calling to report this if this is something we approved. We are escalating this as we have exhausted ourselves and are getting no where. We reported the issue as we noted it. We shut down the account that had the issue. We closed all online access for my daughter *********************** so she no longer has any access until we can get this resolved.We have been hung up on several times with the Wells Fargo agents not calling us back and us to initiate a new call and spend more time on the phone. We have spent time with agents that fail to note the account when they say they have updated the account notes. Now I am taking badge numbers. I am promised a call within 24 hours today. I am very disappointed with Wells Fargo. I will have rethink who we will bank from moving forward as Wells Fargo is is claiming it does not see an issue with the online fraud that we have become a victim of. Well why are we reporting this as an issue.We have spent over 20 hours on with several calls and visits to the Bank to open up complaints and asking for assistance as we are missing $7,100 that we did not authorize in Zelle transactions. The perpetrators also attempted depositing fake checks into the accounts at the same time. Which were rejected. Wells Fargo has been in the news and now we are a victim. 7 News reported this in April 7, 2022. I will reach out to them as well. I am rejecting this response because: Wells Fargo is not owning the issue and now suggesting I go after the criminals who robbed my account online from their bank. If I knew these people I would do that but this is online fraud. I have tweeted the issue and will do so everyday now until I get a response. We did not authorize these **** transfers and do not know these people and we did not try to deposit fake checks into our own accounts!Online Zelle fraud is real and withdrawn is beyond belief. The bottom line is they don't give a c*** They provided NO information at all that indicated that they looked in tot he scam, not who's account it was sent to. They didn't trace the account, flag it, NOHTING, they provide you the service to use and if you get scammed, you're on your own, Plus they totally messed up my finances with a temporary credit, only o take it back and overdraw ones' account. I was originally out **** dollars, but now its **** plus the **** wells fargo cost me from over drafting my account.
