On December 29, 2023 I placed an order for pick up on December 31, 2023; I was charged immediately for my order even though I wouldnt be picking up for 2 days. On the day of the pick up, I arrived at the restaurant that the DoorDash order was placed for and was told they did not have the order because the items that were offered online via DoorDash were not being sold on the day of pick up. I was then provided with info on how to get in contact with the restaurant management who took 3 days to get back to me, only to learn that I needed to be going through DoorDash for a refund. When I contacted DoorDash immediately upon learning that this was who I needed to work with for a refund, I was told that I took too long to report the issue. DoorDash then sent me an email that I had a credit to my account but no credit shows on my account.Business Response

DoorDash customer support continues to be one of the worst customer support experience I have encountered with.I have multiple orders in December 2023 missing item or wrong amount of item delivered. Everytime I report it weather its from Store like Sprouts or **** they give me the same run around. Your case has been escalated to support expect update within 24 hours and never anybody follow up or issue any refund.After multiple calls they finally told me they applied the refund as a credit which is compete BS. The credit in my account is from my two Doordash gift cards and the agent tries to tell me that its from them lol. Support it a joke its based somewhere outside the US since they dont speak english well at all. At this point I dont even want a refund since I deleted the app and will use Uber eats or Grub Hub moving forward. I placed an order on 12/23/23. My Chick Fil A order was delivered to the wrong address (DoorDash emailed me the photo of where it was delivered). That is certainly not my address and not the address they have on file for me. Ive called them 7 times now and they keep telling me that my compensation was reviewed by their specialists and it was denied. I keep asking why it was denied and they say they have no information on why but it was denied and theres nothing they can do. I am beyond baffled. This is my 2nd claim as I didn't respond in time to the first one. My original copy:I purchased two $50 DoorDash gift cards from my local ******* supermarket. When I went to redeem them to my DoorDash account, they both had a zero balance. I contacted ******* and they told me I'd need to contact DoorDash. I called DoorDash and they were able to determine that both card redemption codes were indeed already redeemed, but to someone else's account (and they couldn't/wouldn't disclose their account details). I asked if they could remove the $100 (2 x $50) from the fraudulent account and apply the funds to my account, but they said they cannot do that. I have pictures of the physical gift cards (with the redemption codes) and receipts I purchased from *******. I am rejecting this response because:i never recieved a ****.. it was reported under my ssn#. im sure you sent the **** to the address that the dasher lives. however the irs has charged me $10,000. the only way for them to withdraw charges is to get an ammended ****. this is coming straight from them. so they said you need to provide me with that. if you cant do this then i demand the drivers license and *************************** that you associated with my ssn#. this is quite serious to me, as I live paycheck to paycheck. I wait every year for my tax refund... that I wont recieve this year because of this fiasco.

I ordered from Chichos through DoorDash and my order was not right. I informed ******** of the problem and they said they would refund me $37.31, They then tell me it would take 2 to 7 business days before I can get my money back, I did not pay them in 2 to 5 business days. I told them I need my money I am a senior on a fixed income and I need my money back now. I don't think that it is right for companies to do that to people. Why should you have to wait? On 1/2/24 at 1:02 am, I ordered a delivery to my work address from **********. About an hour later, I went outside to check on the delivery as it still had not arrived and I cannot bring my phone within the premises of my workplace. The DoorDash app said that my delivery had been delivered, but it had not. I walked around the entire perimeter of my workplace and checked every door, but my food was not delivered. I attempted to contact the driver, but was not able to as it was around 45 minutes after the delivery was marked "delivered" and the app would no longer allow me to contact the driver. I then went to the ********** in person to order in-person, and mentioned the delivery not being received. The employee at ********** told me that they didn't have many of the items included in the order so the manager decided that "it wasn't worth putting out". I requested a refund through the DoorDash app which was then declined.On 1/3/24 at 12:53 pm, I contacted DoorDash customer support by phone. While on the phone with the support agent, I was told that I could not be refunded for my order because I did not have any contact with the driver even after explaining that I could not have my phone with me at work. It is important to note that I did not receive any messages or any form of communication from the driver or DoorDash itself during the delivery to advise me of the situation.I am requesting that the total of the order ($37.42) be credited to my account as I used a ********************** gift card to pay for the entire order.Business Response

DoorDash wont refund my money for an order that never was delivered. Not only was the order never delivered, the place I ordered from through DoorDash even told DoorDash they never made the order. Not the mention I have the receipt that was emailed me from the place (*********************) that the order would have came from stating that they voided the order. Yet DoorDash still is declining to refund my money. Attached is the receipt from *********************. Also attached is screenshots of the decline review/receipt on doordash plus an email from DoorDash that acknowledges the phone call made with customer service. Im asking to receive $2,500 in small claims court for emotional damage, unprofessional work practices due they decline my refund 5 times as I kept calling in to show proof that the merchant never even made the order.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I was denied a resolution by DoorDash customer service numerous the times even with the proof I provided. Not only did I call them, they even called ********************* themselves and told them it will be resolved but yet they still declined. The fact that I had to contact to the better business bureau after numerous attempts to resolved the matter directly but was not given the common courtesy for the matter. I feel as if I am due a compensation of more than just a refund. At the very least I should be issued a $1,000 for the emotional damage, unprofessional customer service received and the financial hardship that came with me having to order something else without receiving a refund in a timely manner.

DoorDash has refused to respond to my persistent attempts to reactivate my Dasher account. I deactivated the DoorDash account and not the dasher account because ********************** seems to make several accounts without my knowledge when asking for emails for orders or during confusing signups. The process has been a hassle and I would like my Dasher account reopened so I can continue to make deliveries but DoorDash has not been able to help with this and I hope this can be resolved with corporate contact from DoorDashBusiness Response
