      My account was automatically upgraded to credit card. I used the card with assumption that purchases fall under promo as it did before when spending $150 or more. 3 days after my purchase, statement is available and payment due for those recent purchases but at the full *****% interest. Called to see if they are able to adjust to special financing or down grade my account back to original credit but they said I could only close my account. Now, I'm just going to have to pay off and close the account completely.

      There is no way to be able to speak to a Pay Pal agent located in *****************. The agents are all overseas i.e. Phillipines,etc. When calling the agents are difficult to understand. President,CEO, **** ******* at corporate office in ********, *** should fix this ****.

      PayPal provides a useful pay in 4 options but has no actual customer service for solutions regarding the program. Not one customer service representative has any information on how the program works. I currently have 3 active PI4 accounts but then when trying the option for a purchase for far less than my available loan option amount I reason a denial reason of Application information tied to unusual activity but I can get no details of what the unusual activity actually is.

      I was a victim of fraud using my PayPal account. I made a dispute. Not only did they not take my side, they did a chargeback. I lost over $1,500. I closed my PayPal Credit Card Account but regular ********************** will not close my regular account. They say it is still connected to my PayPal credit account. It is not. They refuse to close my account. I was a member for 19 years and this is how I get treated. One star is too good for them.

      I have been a PayPal customer for over 10 years. I got scammed by an online company and contacted PayPal to dispute the charge as the company, ********** was refusing to refund my money. PayPal told me to ship the item back and they would refund me. I paid $18.55 for shipping, sent the tracking number and photos of the package but PayPal denied my claim 3 times saying they never got a tracking number. I spent hours on the phone with them, all to be told they would resubmit my claim and denied it again. Im now trying to close my account and cant reach anyone because they use AI (which is a horrible, ineffective program) and dont have enough customer service agents answering the phone. Yet I have to talk to someone to close my account! Cant do it in writing. This business model is unacceptable. Dont use PayPal for any online purchases of any significance as they wont help you solve the problem. Im horrified to see how badly theyve handled this case and my account. I want all my money back and the shipping and I want my account closed and I cant get any of that. I mostly want to shut down scam artists preying on people and thought PayPal would want that, too.

      Absolutely horrible. Their customer service *****. The amount confirm and amount charged was almost double and PayPal allowed the seller to add additional charge without customer consent. ****** advertising. Can't wait to close my account. I wished I could give them zero star.

      Worst customer service. I made a payment on my account and ********************** pushed my entire balance through my bank. I was charged $35 for not enough funds. I tried calling PayPal for four days, and was told a supervisor would call back in an hour. Two days later they still didnt call. Today PayPal tried to push the entire balance again. So another $35 charge. Called PayPal and the *** couldnt help so transferred me to a supervisor. She actually yelled at me and transferred me to the most condescending, unhelpful, rude person imaginable. This woman told me I made two payments the same day. One for the full balance and two minutes later for $250. I asked why would I pay the full balance and then make a $250 payment. She said she didnt know but I did and that I would have to eat the $70 because I authorized it. May have told her to eat it in not nice terms. Ugh make it make sense PayPal

      My brother has had a year long dispute with PayPal. They sent him an email 9/13/2025 telling him he had a 0.00 balance. He got another email on 9/15/25 telling him his account was overdrawn by $280. He signed a paper stating he did not make the fraudulent charges and PayPal has done nothing to rectify this situation. Get rid of PayPal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I had an absolutely horrible experience with PayPal.I run a handyman company and sometimes accept payments through invoices connected to PayPal. A customer paid me, and three months later ********************** suddenly took $500 back, claiming the customer disputed the transaction.I provided every proof and screenshot showing the customer paid, was happy with our work, and that this was a clear scam. PayPals response? They dont care. The customer is always right.This is absurd. We did the job, we purchased the materials, and got scammed and PayPal sided with the scammer. Ive deleted this awful service. PayPal is a horrible organization.

      Paypal scammed me out of $294. A fraudulent charge of $294 to cartpanda appeared on my account. I notified ******************** and they said they investigated and the charge is legitimate. ****** cartpanda - it's a service for business owners. I do not own a business, never have. Why would I pay $294 for something I cannot possibly use?? Paypal's claim that they protect against fraud is a complete lie. Stay away from paypal
