I purchased an oceanfront king suite. Priceline sent an email confirmation of said reservation. At check-in I learned that Priceline reserved a double bed ocean view room with the resort instead (significantly less expensive). After two hours on the phone with their customer service I was told I had to pay to upgrade (to the room I reserved with them in the first place), send them the receipt, then after my stay was complete they would refund what I paid to upgrade (to what i originally reserved!) Now, my reservation is complete. the receipt is sent and they are running me around about processing my refund. They misrepresent, they try to defraud, and they like. Do not recommend. 0 out of 10

Avoid Priceline and *** car rental unless....... You don't mind if they don't have any cars in spite of your reservation You don't mind paying for ***** because you're stranded. You don't mind hanging around dark streets with gangs of youths You don't mind losing a whole day of your precious vacation You don't mind spending 12 weeks (and counting) trying to get a refund You don't mind if you have to do all of the work You don't not receiving any calls back or any emails of any news/progress JUST DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES if you want to rent a car without any problems.

I have been a Priceline Customer for a long time! In January 2025 I booked a trip to the ********* ******** with a live agent over the phone. One day before my travel date, February 14th, 2025 I get a text from the agency I booked transportation services that the resort is an 8 hour drive from the airport and would be an additional $1,000 for the round trip. Obviously, these fees are out of my budget for this trip and unexpected and who wants to sit in the car for 8 hours? That would have been a waste of 2 trip days! I have called Priceline more times than I can count at this point and have wasted hours being on the phone with them and getting no help or resolution. I also booked trip insurance through a 3rd party I guess with my booking, and they denied my claim as well. I do not feel as though I should pay for a trip that I did not go on! It is ridiculous that I have to fight this and that I am still fighting this. This trip is linked to my affirm account and Priceline needs to reimburse the funds to reflect there. This is potentially going to affect my credit if this does not get resolved. I should not have to pay for a trip based on Priceline's error, and a trip I did not go on!! I will never use Priceline again after this, I honestly can't believe it. There are so many better companies. Do not waste your money!!!!

PRICELINE.COM WILL MISLEAD YOU. They will not tell you that check bags and carryon bags are not included in the price of vacation packages and will not tell you about additional charges you must pay to the hotels. They will mislead you my listing these things but will not mention that they are not included in the price. When you reach the airport and hotels, you must pay, since payment in no refundable.

      1) Rented A Car... specifically says - 2 days - price per day. 2) Specific Hours... put in best guess pick up - drop off; knowing paid for 48 hours 3) Turned In Car... 4 hours different than best guess - but - 11 hours less than 2 days. 4) Price... about $66 - paid Priceline. 5) Penalty... over $75 - even though - used LESS than the 2 days I paid for - clearly on their document. BEWARE!!!

Priceline has no customer service skills. They are just a bunch of robot humans reading a script on repeat. They might as well stop paying live people and just use the auto system. I am a human and made a human mistake of flipping the destination points. When calling to just change it or push the date back they told me my only option was to cancel for $50 per person. Reminder I am suppose to be a Gold member but the member status is only to supposedly give you a discount. This company does not have appreciation or compassion for the customer that keep the company going. I use to tell everyone that Priceline was the best but after todays experience please just go through the companies them selfs so you don’t have any third party hassle

Unacceptable Service – Priceline & **** *****l Holding My Money for 21 Days! I am beyond frustrated with Priceline and **** *****l Car for the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. On March 3, 2025, I booked a rental car through ****** which redirected me to Priceline. Priceline confirmed my booking with **** *****l Car. When I arrived to pick up the car, **** *****l refused to honor my reservation, claiming that because I am a ******** resident, they could not rent me the car. Immediately, I contacted Priceline customer service, and they assured me that they were unaware of this policy and would cancel my reservation and issue a full refund for both the rental and the protection plan. I was told my $341 would be refunded within 10 days. It has now been 21 days, and I still haven’t received my money back. I have contacted Priceline customer service three times, and every time, they give me the same ridiculous excuse: “We can’t confirm with York that your reservation was canceled, so we can’t process your refund.” This is completely unacceptable! How is it that they can’t even contact their own partner company? Why is my money still being held hostage when Priceline itself canceled the reservation? Not only did Priceline and **** *****l waste my time, but I also had to pay $100 in Uber rides to get to and from the rental location—only to be turned away for something that was never disclosed at the time of booking. This is blatant negligence and a complete failure in customer service. Priceline, you need to take responsibility and refund my money immediately! You cannot just take customers’ money, cancel their reservations, and then refuse to issue a refund. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and posting this experience on every possible review platform until this is resolved. I demand an immediate refund of my $341 and compensation for the additional expenses I incurred due to your incompetence.

I had to book a flight and car very quickly from ** ** ** to sign new apartment papers. I got on their site and 3 times....3 TIMES....had a pop up that said "We're sorry but that flight isn't available". On the 4th try when I hit book, it went through! About 2 days later I checked my email to print off the itinerary, and low and behold, there were 2 flights showing up, complete with car rental! $586.44 charged to my **** without my approval for the wrong flight along with $655.67 for the correct one, nearly maxing out my limit! I called them and didn't get anywhere with the first guy, then a second came on then I requested a manager. I told all 3 of them the same story. Why on earth would anyone book 2 flights on the same day and time for the same person? There was a difference of 17min between the wrong booking and the one that went through due to more searching. The so called "manager" told me it was my fault, that the booking went through. Then after that he said he would refund my money down to $200.00. I thanked him but said I shouldn't have to pay anything since I have another booking. Then he says that it was past the 24hr period for refunds and that I had to contact the airline. I went on the ***** site and they explicitly state that "if you are paying through a third party, that you have to go through them to get a refund". After all this, I never received an email confirming anything that the manager told me. I went to my credit union to start a dispute. They refunded me my charge a few weeks later. Then a few months later recharged it telling me that Priceline refused to admit wrong doing or tech issues. Then the bank tells me to try the BBB to get my money back. In the meantime, my credit card balance went over and now I am about to be reported to the credit bureau. THanks Priceline.

Beware if cancellation of your reservation becomes necessary and you booked via Priceline. I booked the ***** ******* *** via Priceline who partners with Booking.com. On the day I booked the room the Priceline website stated the rate (269.78 USD tax included) was refundable if cancelled 3 days in advance. I cancelled the reservation 12 days in advance and received another email from Priceline acknowledging the cancellation and stating the booking is refundable and the refund would be posted with a few weeks. A few weeks passed with no refund so I contacted ***** reservations and they stated the rate was NOT refundable and I was advised to contact the ***** DFW property directly for a resolution. I contacted Priceline and they stated they were unable to reach the ***** by phone and they did not reply to their email. Priceline passed it back to me and stated it was my problem and I should pursue a refund from *****. Priceline did nothing to help. After I sent a few emails to ***** customer service for follow up they never replied to any of them. The best I can do at this time is to dispute the charge with Visa which was the credit card they billed. I do not understand why Priceline advertises a refundable rate when they are not complying with hotel's cancel policies. Seems like they operating under dishonest business practices.

We a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, booked a vacation package (air trip and luxury hotel) on Priceline to ****** ********. When we arrived at the hotel, the hotel indicated that the stay was only for 2 adults by Priceline even though we booked a complete vacation package with 4 persons. The hotel also indicated that age above 12 is considered adult and made us pay for both our teenagers. We called Priceline from the hotel and it took 1 hour to be on the call to reach them and they indicated that they will call the hotel to resolve the issue with an escalation id, and will provides us with an update in 24-48 hours that never happened. During our stay, we checked with the hotel if Priceline had called and the hotel indicated Priceline never called. After our trip back to home, we called back to enquire on the status and Priceline indicated that they will again try calling the hotel and said they will reach back in 5 days. It's been 4 weeks since our trip and Priceline got our business with no accountability, made us pay thousands of USD extra ($2000) for their mistake, and basically provided the worst customer service leaving their clientele hanging without any updates. DO NOT BOOK ON PRICELINE! They do not adhere to their agreements and do not provide any updates for issues once booked - practically zero customer service.
