1 starI prepaid for a room back in the beginning of May 2025 through Priceline. Planned around this room for a surprise as well as other money I put into this trip. Priceline sent a email 3 weeks after the FACT & stated there was a glitch in Priceline system and they would have to move me to a double or give me a refund. Again, this room was prepaid-and it was a Lanai Room at Cosmpolitan in Las Vegas with a pool connected to the room. This glitch could have been found out 24hrs,48,hrs,a week after I paid----- not 3 to 4 weeks later of planning. The room I booked was a Lanai room -and to have Priceline say they will give me 20% back or a double is not acceptable less than 2 weeks away from travel. Please visit the cosmopolitan website and view the room with your eyes and tell me what the comparable should be to a Lanai Room. Here I am less than 2 weeks away from a trip as Priceline is trying to do a BAIT & Switch which is illegal. I have proof that this was done. I have been on hold every day for hours and waiting for a manager to call back-back-with promises and still no call as of today. I work hard to travel, and the feeling of anxiety, and mental health Priceline is causing cannot be explained as I cannot not finalize my details to traveling. I honestly feel this room should be compensated for my entire stay as this experience has caused a enormous level of anxiety. I write this email as I have been on hold now for over a hour, after being promised a call back by today. Again, to give a refund at the last minute, when I could have received this room over a month ago for a lesser price or to try to throw me in a double- is not what I paid for is not acceptable. This was not the customer's fault and Priceline admitted to the glitch- but yet they are not willing to make it right with a comparable room that was paid for in advance. I really want to give a 0 ratingReview fromChristina U

1 starI reserved a rental car online in preparation for an out of state vacation for one week. I live in ******* so I am no stranger to renting a car. I always choose unlimited mileage so I chose a mid-size SUV with unlimited mileage. Arrived at the rental center with my required documents in tow and found out that ******* residents can't take the car out of state, max 125 miles per day and max 1200 miles per 30 days EVEN THOUGH THE WEBSITE PRINTOUT SHOWED UNLIMITED MILEAGE ON IT!! Talk about a rip off. I only got a partial refund from Priceline. I had to finagle another car with another company at the last minute. Will never use Priceline ever again and I will denounce them every chance I get. Their website deals are a scam and their advertised information on what you are supposed to get for the price are LIES. Just straight up LIES.Review fromBrittany W

1 starThe customer service with Priceline seems to be one big gaslighting experience. I accidentally booked a mobility and hearing accessible room when I don't need one, and simply needed to switch my room as to not take up an unneeded accessible space. I called Priceline within minutes of booking and was told they would try to contact the hotel, but to no avail. I then called back no less than 5 times over the next 2 weeks, was told I would hear back within 48 hours, and heard back nothing. Their attitude on the phone is nothing but polite and overly-grateful, but in actuality it appears as though they are doing absolutely nothing. It was also a hard lesson to learn that they are a FOURTH party booking site--as they have to go through booking.com to make any changes. In addition, I had one very unsettling experience--I placed a call to Priceline on my work phone and was on hold, but then got a call from Priceline on my cell phone at the exact same time, saying that my original call was dropped and they would help me. My original call was never dropped and I ended up speaking with two people at once. Hard to believe there isn't something fishy going on there. Long story short--I was able to change my room at the hotel upon checking in with no problems. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would go through Priceline when booking directly through the hotel gives you almost the exact same rates and insanely better customer service. Happy travelling y'all!Review fromSheryl B

1 starPlease accept our sincere apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. We fully understand from your complaint, the hotel provided you with documentation that disclosed a lower rate than what you initially paid. Unfortunately, the hotel provided this documentation to you in error, and should not have revealed this rate as your reservation was a pre-paid. The rate you agreed to at the time of booking is the correct rate. We regret any inconvenience or frustration that this experience has caused you. Best Regards, Roldan A. 1 starWent through Priceline unknowingly when making a reservation (due to having a very poor experience 20 years prior). My son had a newborn baby who was airlifted to ********* On our 2nd and last nights stay, needless to say, we left to get to *********as fast as we could. We called Priceline they said they would work with their partner to credit our last night. We talked to the front desk at the ******* *******, they gave us the proper forms to send to Priceline. Now Priceline will not reimburse or even give a credit for a future night. So much for hospitality. We have even tried to work with the ******* hotel in ******* and they are not much help either. BEWARE of this “hospitality” provider and do not try to save $10.00 with Jipline. Piss poor service! I hope they have to go through what we have someday! They made a stressful situation that much more stressful.Review fromRonald H

1 starPlans changed and needed to cancel my flight arrangements, even though I purchased the travel insurance. I still lost my money and Priceline didn't care. They said the insurance is only for medical reason or a death in the family. It doesn't cover changes. Oh, also the insurance company ****** is owned my Priceline. Buyer Beware!Review fromJulie T

1 starDeceptive website when it comes to pricing. They charge for luggage and it ends up being only the carry on. When you get to the airline you get slammed with $200 each way for each passenger. Our trip ended up being $700 more than what we budgeted for. Hidden fees at hotels that weren’t disclosed. Deceptive information. We ended up not needing our rental vehicle three days earlier than original town in date. We looked online and it said no changes allowed to this reservation so we stayed with the car “parked” for three days. The night before we went on website again and it said click here for changes to reservation. I will never use them again.Review fromOctavia L

1 starI have a booking through Priceline for May 30th-June 1st. I called the hotel directly to request a date change on Tuesday(May 27th) was advised I had to contact Priceline because the hotel had no authorization to do anything . So I called Priceline on the same day Tuesday (May 27th) to change my booking date, was told it would take 2 days for a response, I never received a call back. I called Priceline Wednesday May 28th, to follow up and they said I would receive a call the next day(Thursday May 29th). Thursday finally comes never received a call, I called Priceline again and was told priceline contacted a third party who does their booking, and the third party “allegedly” contacted the hotel on my behalf to get my booking changed. The Priceline representative told me that my request for a date change for my booking was rejected. The agent stated that I could contact the hotel and request a date change, if I was told this on Tuesday when I initially called the hotel would have been more inclined to accommodate me. I called the hotel again on Thursday May 29th and again they stated they have no authorization to do anything with my booking. No where in my agreement or the documentation on the website for my booking does it state no modifications can be made to my booking. Currently been on hold with customer service for Priceline for 40mins, allegedly I was being transferred to manager but I doubt anyone picks up the call. Priceline is a fraudulent company, and in the business of scamming people out of their money.Review fromphilip m

1 starSCAM ALERT...We purchased our ********* rental car through Priceline and according to my confirmation, it stated that I should expect to pay $68 in full upon pickup. WHAT THAT REALLY MEANS is pay $389 because of hidden fees that Priceline was not up front with. Besides waiting 45 minutes at airport for the ********* shuttle, we were eventually delivered to a one room brick building ********* rental office(NOT THE ONE ON AIRPORT PROPERTY). There was only one person working so we waited another hour for our turn only to be surprised with an upcharge because of ********* minimum insurance requirements of $500k/$500k or you will be forced to pay them their amount for their insurance(I had $500k/$250k so I had to pay more)?!? DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH ********* CAR RENTAL OR ANY OF THEIR SCAMMING AFFILIATES LIKE PRICELINE AND EXPEDIA! Everyone on our ********* shuttle was furious at being UPCHARGED UPON PICKUP and taken ********* of by either Priceline or ******* and ********* is well aware that this is going on. I received a phone call later that evening and was told how sorry ********* was that this happened and that they were working to get me a 20% discount off of my rental but I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ********* since that call over 9 days ago. Are you getting the picture???Review fromBrianna H

1 starThey are dishonest! Offered upgrade with fees to include a checked bag but then I ended up paying an additional $80 in baggage fees and customer service said they had no record of me paying for my baggage prior. Do not trust them.
