A complete scam and false advertising. My husband booked a two night stay in ****** for our anniversary on august. I called the hotel for days to verify the reservation and they had no records of it. Called Priceline who said they would take care of it. They said for the last 48hrs they called the hotel and they’d be manually inputting it into their system. Called the hotel to confirm and was told that’s a lie. They don’t manually input third-party reservations and never have. I called Priceline to figure out why they lied to me and they claimed they were not lying. Would not listen or give me the time of day. Asked if they could move my reservation to a different hotel. Which of course I said was not going to be an option because we picked this hotel for a reason. My only option left was to get refunded and they were going to give me an extra 20% because of their lies. Which still isn’t enough to get me even a standard lesser value room at the same hotel. I guess ultimately I’m thankful for the fact we discovered this scam before August when we would fly eight hours to be stranded with no hotel in ******* Priceline would not own up to the fact that they lied. They acted like I was crazy even after giving them proof they lied. They don’t run their own customer service call center. Pretty much they forgot to actually book our hotel and the hotel room we picked was now sold out. Leaving us out of luck and only offering 20% after 48 hours of lies saying they’d fix this and get us our reservation confirmed. They should be ashamed. I also found out that the actual hotel confirmation number they tried to give me was not even legit the hotel confirmed that their reservation number start with five my reservation number that gave me started with one. So it was a scam from day one to begin with.

Beware of renting a car through Priceline. I made a reservation for a mid-sized car through Priceline on 5/11/2022. Priceline emailed me a confirmation that my rental car was available. I asked a family member to drive me 45 minutes out of her way to get to the rental car location. You should note that there was a rental car location 5 minutes away that supposedly didn’t have a mid-sized car available. When I arrived at the rental car location 45 minutes away they told me they don’t have a mid-sized car and likely wouldn’t be getting one in anytime soon. We called Priceline and waited 5 minutes to talk to a rep that barely spoke English. We asked to speak to a manager but they could only offer a senior rep that we had to wait 12 minutes to talk to. He only spoke slightly better English. We conveyed our disappointment and he told us that the rental car company was at fault because the Priceline system received a confirmation from them that the car was available. We asked him to explain that to the rental car agency and when we took the phone back to them he quickly changed his story. The rental car agency indicated this happens all the time with Priceline. In the end Priceline took no accountability. Minimally they should have offered to pay for the mileage to get to the rental car location and mileage to get us to another rental car location that had a car. Instead they offered nothing. Buyer beware if you use Priceline for anything as they are not accountable.

If they won't cancel a reservation the same day you book it you should take your business elsewhere.

They say they have a priceline guarantee. If I book an express deal and I see it for cheaper by midnight the night before check in you get 200% the difference. Well I booked my trip for $116 a night and I saw it went down $106. I called and spoke to multiple people who said they only see it as $145. I literally had the app open on my phone looking at the price say $106 and they said there's nothing they can do. I don't understand how I could see it right on my phone while talking to them for cheaper and they can't. It sounds like they are trying to get out of what they "guarantee". They have no appeal process and no way for my to send in my documented proof. They guy gave me a address but no corporate email or number.

Reserved and pre-paid for a king bed, ocean front room through Priceline. Arrived at hotel and was given two double bed with city view. Hotel said that's how the reservation came across from PL. So, I accepted the room in lieu of sleeping in the lobby because of course they were "full". After several calls to PL, they blamed the hotel and said since I used the room given, there's nothing they could do. I told them they just lost a long time customer and hung up.

Do not book through Priceline they literally bait , switch, and steal. I booked a round trip airline ticket. The choices when I booked showed an option for a credit if I cancelled. However, what I purchased was a partial credit and penalties adding to almost the entire cost of the round trip airfare. This is a huge difference. When I spoke with Priceline and the airline when I needed to cancel for a credit on a different future date, they said after the purchase they send an email outlining this different policy. So basically you think you purchased a ticket that can be cancelled for a credit but you did not. Out of $ 227. dollars spent you might get back $50. dollars. Further when I attempted to cancel on the airlines website the cancel function did not work. I called the twice but they did not cancel. Priceline said it was up to them and ******** said it was Priceline 's fault. I will never use Priceline or ******** again! Lies and deceit not to mention theft! I wasted so much time explaining this but I am guessing the legalized ticket scalping racket is on purpose. They will resell my seat for double after stealing my money. I will drive or take a train whenever possible. When I fly I will take **********

Customer service is very indifferent when calling them. They are so rigid that they would not address my concerns. Once, I was put on eternal ignore (music on hold) rather than address my concern. I had to call each of my airlines directly to resolve my issue. I will not be doing business with them again!

Booked a package deal for flight ,rental car and hotel. When I first arrived at hotel they said I had to pay more money. I told them that when I reserved the reservation I thought everything was paid for. I called up Priceline and Priceline said it wasn’t their fault and that it was booking.com fault. So Priceline transferred me to ***********. When I spoke to ******* **** they said Priceline was the one who made the reservation. And so I was transferred back and forth four times. I told them that I wasn’t going to have nowhere to stay for 14 days because that’s how long the reservation was for. I asked them to help me and they said they would. They just kept hanging up the phone on me. They said a supervisor was going to call me back but didn’t and after all this BS I received n email saying that my reservation was cancelled. Never will I use Priceline or ***********. Whoever is reading this please do not use them. Oh I almost forgot. I even told them that I had to use the 380 that I had left to buy food and for gas to spend it on a motel for 5 days. What am I going to do about the other 9 days and food and gas. I even told them that I might have to sleep in the rental car. But sadly they didn’t care.

Priceline advertises "free cancellations for flexibility" with their car rentals. However, this is not the case. I booked a flight/hotel and car rental as a package from Priceline and had to cancel with in 24 hours of booking it. (Over 30 days in advance of my trip). But after booking the flight on line they said I can not cancel the rental car. I'm out over $1000.00. I call Priceline and can not get anyone from corporate. I only get people from ***** who cannot or will not help me.
