BEWARE of Amped Fitness in Altamonte ************************** canceled my membership over a year ago, but they are STILL charging me every month. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, Ive received no help or explanation.This gym is a complete scamtaking money without authorization and ignoring requests to fix their mistakes. If youre thinking about joining, please be cautious and read the ********** anyone else experiencing this: lets hold them accountable! Im filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and considering legal action if this isnt resolved soon.

IM GOING TO *** YOU GUYS ! IVE TRIED CANCELING THIS **** MEMBERSHIP 3X !! AND THE LAST TIME I TRIED! I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS BEING SELFISH!!! AND NOW IM GETTING A LETTER FROM A LAW FIRM STATING I OWE $770!!! WHEN I KEPT GOING OVER TO CANCEL AND THE MANGER WOULDNT F****** LISTEN!WHEN I WENT TO THIS GYM FOR THE FIRST TIME I SAID I DIDN'T WANT TO SIGN ANYTHING JUST YET FOR A PERSONAL TRAINER, AND I WAS TOLD I CAN MEET WITH THE PERSONAL TRAINER AND THEN DECIDE, I COULDNT MAKE IT TO MEET THE PERSONAL TRAINER SO I CANCELED, I TOLD THEM WITH MY SCHEDULE IM JUST NOT GOING TO DO PERSONAL TRAINING NEXT THING I KNOW IM BEING TOLD I SIGNED UP FOR IT WHEN I KNOW I TOLD THEM I DIDNT WANT IT NEXT THING I KNOW I WAS BEING CHARGED FOR A PERSONAL TRAINER ! EVEN THOUGH I CALLED AND THE GIRL I SPOKE TO SAID , SHELL LET THE MANAGER KNOW TO CANCEL IT THEN I GOTTA CALL SAYING I OWE MONEY, SO I TOOK CARE IF IT, AND THEN I WENT AGAIN TO CANCEL AFTER SAYING I DIDNT WANT IT AND ITWAS THE SAME SHIT!THEYVE BEEN TAKING FUNDS OUT OF ACCOUNT EACH MONTH! $28 FOR REGULAR MEMBERSHIP AND $70 FOR A PERSONAL TRAINER I KEPT SAYING I DONT WANT OR NEED. THEYRE JUST TRIFLING AND EVIL AF BECAUSE WHY WOULD YA TAKE MY MONEY AND THEN SEND ME TO COLLECTIONS SAYING THAT I OWE MONEY. F****** UP MY CREDIT! JUST EVIL AND MONEY HUNGRY! SEE YOU GUYS IN COURT, THIS WHOLE SITUATION FROM START TO END HAS CAUSED ME SO MUCH STRESS!0/10! I WILL BE SUING!! THIS SITUATION HAS NOT HELPED MY MENTAL STATE AT ALL, AND THE STRESS IT HAS BOUGHT ME. LAST TIME I TRIED TO CANCEL I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS BEING SELFISH. Horrible business overall. The way they treat their employers is absolutely disgusting. As well as memberships and allowing access to people who are not allowed in the building. They have multiple complaints about staff never being in the front or just simply goofing around. Its a joke at this point with the many employers that have joined and left as well as members. Its going downhill quickly.

No longer open 24/7. Now closes at 7PM on weekends.Amped Fitness Altamonte clearly has a pattern of disrespect towards its customers. Ive put up with all the bs and construction and lack of maintenance ** it was open 24/7 and that's what I signed up for... 24/7. Now they change the hours by slapping a piece of paper at the entrance. No prior notice. No email notice. No effort at all.

This gym is on a fast ride downhill. Part of the gym is blocked off, unusable. Heavy dumbbells have been removed. Tanning is now shut down, elevator broken, and NO A/C. Temps regularly get into the low to mid 80's with zero air flow. Several machines have cracked vinyl, and the cleaning rags left for member use are very infrequently changed, and so are dirty and soggy. This is what we're supposed to be using to wipe down the equipment? Promised new equipment has never appeared... Not sure how much longer they'll be open, with this many problems
