1 starWe have been waiting since December 2021 to get our refrigerator fixed. We have had at least six repairman come out. We keep getting the runaround. They put one part in it didnt work. All of the other repairman had said that they need to order parts, the parts come then next guy states the last one ordered the wrong parts. Today on May 18 our appointment was canceled without notice. In the last six months, Ive tried to talk with customer ********************** and have never gotten any results. I just spent the last hour and a half on the phone to be told that someone would call me back. I doubt thats going to happen. **************************** has been happy to take my monthly service agreement fees and my $100 co-pay for the service. This is the first time Ive ever written a complaint online. This has been a very frustrating experience!Review fromRussell W

1 star******* *** have paid Cinch, including all their aliases, for 11 plus years monthly drawn from my checking account on time. May 3rd I called re: water heater problem.Cinch informed they have no service providers in my area of ****** plus population AFTER I paid them their required $125 service fee plus $10 for their so-called covid 'relief' also on the 5/3.Cinch informed me after the $135 fee they had no local providers in their system.I called two local plumbing businesses and both informed me they would not work with Cinch. After CINCH tells me they will expedite my case to locate a provider, I do not/have not receive texts , emails, or phone calls updating my problem.May 16th I informed Cinch I would cancel my contract with them and request the return of my $135 in 48 hrs if they did not fulfill THEIR obligation to me. Cinch told me I would receive an email prior to the 48 hrs.The 48 hrs have passed with no 'word' from Cinch.I will be more careful selecting my new home warranty provider.Cinch has no problem charging their monthly fees w/o providing their promised 'duty.'Apparently CINCH believes that just because water heater repairs are included in their 'covered systems' that they need not 'provide' the promised repairs. As i am a retired roofing contractor I find CINCH's behavior very appalling.Words escape me re: my frustration with CINCH.Review fromOtis M.

1 starCinch is the worst. They kept asking for proof of the item. I sent them copies of the receipt, they wanted a letter from the company I purchased from in their letterhead. I provided that. They wanted to physically speak with the manager or the store. I made that happen. They kept asking for the items over and over for over 4 months, meanwhile charging me the $85.82 per month throughout this period. They then told me, that they had finalized my claim and the check was coming very soon and I should be patient. When it did not come, I contacted them again and read their email to me. Finally, they said that my item was not covered under their policy, which they did not provide to me when I purchased the policy. All I received was a pamphlet but no real policy of they covered. I advised them of this. They insisted after 4 months it was not covered, but still kept charging my credit card for the 4 months. I cancelled their service in writing, they proceeded to charge my credit card again, and I had to call my credit card and advise them I was not authorizing the payment. I hope no one will use them, or they will probably experience the same thing. Just beware if anyone tries to get Cinch. They are liars, thieves, for trying to charge my account after I cancelled them. **** FaresReview fromStephanie T

1 starWe have a plumbing issue with water damage and they want us to wait 10 days to get this fixed. No customer ********************** agent could explain to me what was actually covered under my warranty and I was hung up on.Review fromPatty W

1 starWould not recommend this company for your Home Warranty! They took over 2 weeks to come out and look at our hot water heater that wasn't working. We placed over a dozen calls to the company with no one that could help us get someone out sooner. We also just had to wait 2.5 weeks to have our dishwasher looked at which was already looked at by Cinch several month's ago for same problem and now it doesn't work at all only to be told that the window of time between **** got changed to 12:59-2:29 and I took off of work for a half day and didn't have another several hours to wait around. They told me this via text message at 10:50 and when I called their customer ********************** and was unhappy they transferred me to a supervisor and then eventually to a person in case management who told me the best they could do was to reschedule me out another 2 weeks and offered no compensation for my inconvenience as well as taking off of work for a half day. I am sure there are many other good home warranty companies, so do yourself a favor and find one of those ~ this company is not the answer!Review fromBerty B

1 starCinch Home Services definitely does not stand behind their word. I purchased a home last month and last week our furnace stopped working. I called Cinch and paid up front the deductible and they sent a company out to my home in which a young boy who didn't really know what to do told us that he would schedule for another time that his dad could come out and look at it. 4 days later the dad came out and took 10 minutes to say that I needed a new coil because it was leaking freon and that he couldn't test anything until it was fixed and that he would call Cinch and get the part ordered. 4 days later AGAIN, I call this company and asked if the part was ordered, the owner told me he was overworked and that he didn't have time yet to order it but would call right then and have the part expedited. I then received a phone call from Cinch saying it is pre existing so they aren't covering it. The furnace was working for 3 weeks that we lived there, how is this pre existing? So I paid a deductible for nothing basically and they won't fix the coil. So how is it worth purchasing this warranty if they are going to say anything that breaks is pre existing? Definitely a scam.Review fromDennis M

4 starsGood service. Repairman was professional and did the job right the first time. The only thing I would have liked was either a paper or emailed invoice of what repair was made for my records as a homeowner.Review fromJessica K

1 starThis home warranty service is the worst! We had issues with our water dispenser on our refrigerator. It was repaired the second time a service provider came out. However, it stopped working shortly after and the company sent another technician out. When the technician came out he was at our home all of 10 minutes to say we needed a new door or possibly a replacement refrigerator. From there it just seemed like we couldnt get any assistance to correct the issue. They just kept asking us to spend more money and set up a new service request. This was while we were paying for the monthly warranty. Huge waste of money!
