I purchased tickets to an AEW event directly from **** website. I was redirected to Ticketmaster to select my seats. Somehow from here I was redirected to *******************************************************, without my knowledge to make the purchase of my tickets. Fast forward to the night of the event, I open Ticketmaster, it says my tickets are there, but when I went to pull them up I was unable to use them, some sort of error between Ticketmaster and EventsTicketCenter. ETC was the company that took my money and they refuse to make it right. They got their money, I got to buy another set of tickets at the show

I just figured out that this isn't the actual presale ticket vendor. I want a full refund of my tickets. Order Number ******** Order Date 3/26/2025 Presale tickets aren't on sale until 03/27. Today is 03/26. I want a full refund to my payment method immediately or we will be pursuing other refund actions against this company. Thanks in advance for your help and have a nice day.

    Business Response

Hi, ****. The tickets you bought had this disclaimer in the seller's notes on the listing:

"The tickets you receive may be in the specific section listed here or in an equivalent or better location. This listing describes tickets that the seller does not own or may not know the exact location of the seats, but is offering to obtain for you. Once your order is confirmed, we guarantee that you will receive tickets prior to the start of the event for seats that are in an equivalent or better location or you will receive a full refund."

There are a variety of reasons the seller could be listing tickets they don't have at the moment. They could be season ticket holders at the venue or theater, they could have PSLs, or could be part of dues-paying or donation memberships for presale. Again, as part of our 100% guarantee you are guaranteed legitimate tickets in time for the event.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

We purchased tickets from the official presale vendor already and received them instantly. So event tickets center is obviously a scam. Hence the thousands of one star reviews all over the internet. We will not stop pursuing this to the full extent that we can legally until we are issued a full refund.

Today is 03/27 technically 03/28 since it is after midnight so I've been trying to get a refund for two days going on three days now.

I just figured out that this isn't the actual presale ticket vendor. I want a full refund of my tickets.

    Order Number ********

Presale tickets aren't on sale until 03/27. Today (yesterday) is (was) 03/26. I want a full refund to my payment method immediately or we will be pursuing legal action against this company.

The Florida State attorney general as well as the Gainesville chamber of commerce will be notified tomorrow as well if we are not given a full refund.

Thanks in advance for your help and have a nice day.

    Hi, ****.

Just to reiterate - tickets you bought had this disclaimer in the seller's notes on the listing:

"The tickets you receive may be in the specific section listed here or in an equivalent or better location. This listing describes tickets that the seller does not own or may not know the exact location of the seats, but is offering to obtain for you. Once your order is confirmed, we guarantee that you will receive tickets prior to the start of the event for seats that are in an equivalent or better location or you will receive a full refund."

In addition to the reasons already stated, ticket platforms also have restrictions based on the platform's own regulations, or regulations set in place by the venue or artist to restrict the timeline for transfer.

That all being said, our Customer Support team will reach out again today regarding this issue.

On March 14, 2025 I purchased concert tickets through Event Ticket Center website, I checked out using Affirm for a total of $1,980.60 ($1,776.11 is the total shown on my email confirmation) My order number that was emailed to me is ********. The concert is for Sleep Token on September 27, 2025 at ********************* in *********, **. Shortly after purchasing these tickets (maybe a day) I kept seeing people warning concert goers not to buy tickets from a 3rd party seller because those tickets will not be valid at time of entry. I did not know this when purchasing but the band has stated that any ticket purchased outside of *** will not be honored. I then called Event ticket center two different times explaining the situation and asked for clarification on this matter and they assured my tickets were legit and that I would get into the concert. I kept seeing the same thing about these tickets i purchased being a scam because Sleep Token tickets did not go on sale at all until March 20, 2025 at 10AM. I reached out to the box office at ********************* and explained the situation and asked if it was true that my tickets through Event ticket Center would be turned away at the door and they said yes. I then called Event ticket for a 3rd time and explained the situation again and that it was confirmed that my tickets would not be honored and I would be turned away. I asked for a refund and they denied me. Their policy does state that all sales are final unless there is a cancellation or denied entry. As I mentioned before the Arena where the concert is being held has already confirmed that I would be denied entry. I did try to dispute this purchase with ****** but they said they can't cancel it that I would have to reach out to the merchant which I have done already 3 times.

    Hi, ********

If you have documentation from the venue about this issue with 3rd party sales, please forward this to ******************************************** but please note that a lot of the disclaimers about third party sales on venue websites are standard legal disclaimers that they cannot be held liable for third party sales, and not rejections of third party tickets. I also see there are tickets available on Stubhub, AXS, and other third party sites available for purchase. Regardless, if you have documentation from the venue, please send it to our customer support email address.

    Thanks!

I bought 4 tickets from ************************** on 3/13/25. The tickets were for an event on 8/28/2025. The tickets indicated they were for row G1, however when the receipt came, it said that the seating was for "Lawn", indicating no seating. I asked for a refund immediately but was told that was not possible. I then decided to resell the tickets since I would not be able to use them if they were not for a seating area. However, I was notified that I would not receive the tickets until the day before the performance, over 5 months in the future. I asked again for a refund, and they refunded me the site fees of $104.96, but would not give a full refund or deliver the tickets to me. I feel that if this business takes my money for tickets, they need to either deliver the tickets in a timely fashion (not in 5 months time, the day before the performance), or refund my money if they are unable to provide the tickets. I was told I could try to resell the tickets but only through their platform (I cannot sell them elsewhere since they won't actually give me the tickets until the day before the event). I do not want to use their platform as I feel their business practices are suspect. I don't feel it is fair to hold my money for 5 months without delivery of the product, and feel this is a fraudulent business practice, especially as it makes it that if someone wants to resell their tickets they are forced to do it though their platform, so they can collect more fees.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/19/2025

    Hi, *******.

The row was G1 in the "lawn" section - and it is displayed as the lawn in the seating chart. The estimated delivery date is just that - an estimation based on regulation a venue or artist may have in place for distributing tickets, and it may be the case you will get your tickets well before then! That date is listed in the seller's notes of every listing.

We understand your issue, however there is nothing wrong with the order as it stands now.

This is an online ticket site. They do two things to trick the ticket buyer. First they do not make it clear that they're a ticket reseller in a the seat availability screen, leading buyers to believe they're at the events direct ticket site. Second and the biggger problem is that when you go to buy the tickets you think you're paying one price and after you hit purchase, they then clearly show you the total amount you paid with fees, which is significantly more. There is no way to instantly cancel your order or cancel your order while it is still in the processing phase before tickets have been released. The issue is big enough that it's covered in their FAQs section of their site. I feel both these things are purposeful on their part to scam people into buying tickets on their site. I feel something needs to be done to prevent purchasers from being taken advantage of like I was and based on their FAQs, many other people feel the same way.

Bought tickets to a show believing I was purchasing directly from the venue. This company is very misleading and does not make it clear that they are a reseller of tickets.

On October 1, 2024 I bought concert tickets from the ticket events. I thought I was going through the official site but it was a reseller. That’s ok, my mistake. I also paid more than 3 times the face value of the ticket, but again my mistake. I didn’t receive the tickets right away but was told they would be available the day before the concert (3/14/2025) and guaranteed before the show. In February I realized I was unable to make the event and reached out to the seller. The only option they gave me was to sell through their partner site. I had no choice to go to another seller Event tickets made the listing and the listing promised that the tickets would be available 3/14. The tickets sold at a small loss but I was ok with that. The tickets were not delivered on 3/14. This would be fine except they promised the partner seller in the listing that the tickets would be available on 3/14 so the partner seller cancelled the sale and held me responsible. I then asked event tickets for a refund and suddenly received the tickets. Since I can’t go to the concert I asked for a refund. After a lot of back and forth they approved a $30 refund which I accepted but am not satisfied with. I can still sell the tickets but will likely not get more than 20 dollars. I am still out over $150.

Event Tickets sold me tickets to the ********** Round Up Rodeo and when they sent the tickets the name was ****** out. Something wasnt right. I called the actual venue to double check they were valid tickets. Yes I paid way more than face value but as long as they were valid it was what it was, but the venue told me they were most likely invalid and I was being scammed. They told me that the tickets would not let me into the event we paid for. ETC offered only the service fee back, but Im out the price of the tickets as I was told they are invalid tickets. ****** learned. Do not trust any outside ticket companies!

On 3/5/25, I purchased a ticket from Event Ticket Center, believing I was buying from an official vendor. Their website was the first result in my search, and since I was looking for a ticket to a specific event, I assumed they were the primary seller. Only after the purchase did I realize that Event Ticket Center is a reseller, not the official ticket provider. If I had known this earlier, I would have checked other sources before committing to the purchase. I feel that their pricing and marketing practices are misleading, and I wish I had been given clearer information before making my decision. When I reached out to request a refund, I was informed that all sales are final. In my opinion, this does not seem like a fair resolution, as it forces customers to continue using their platform and falling for their predatory business practices. I spent an incredible amount of money on these tickets for my husband. I have no faith that I will receive these tickets and am in fear that they are continuing to do this to many others.

I ordered 3 tickets to an event at the State Theatre. I never received the tickets, nor any legitimate instructions to procure the tickets. When I reached out requesting they resend, they said they were unable to do so and I should contact the venue. They only sent a blurb of HTML code that they tried to pass off as proof that they actually had the tickets. The venue told me that this company is not authorized to sell their tickets and the sale should be disputed. I never received any tickets and had to buy them separately from the venue to be able to attend the concert.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/11/2025

The tickets were transferred the day of purchase. We sent reminders to download the tickets the same day. The State theater in New Jersey has a standard legal disclaimer on their site saying that they cannot exchange or refund tickets purchased through third parties, but not that they don't accept third party tickets. We sent the seat locations and the confirmation number. After the transfer, the broker couldn't find the tickets (as they had been transferred) and couldn't initiate a retransfer. A chargeback was filed, and closed in our favor.

Regardless, the customer support team will reach out soon.
