Event Tickets Center, Inc uses predatory and deceptive practices to lure people into purchasing tickets. They have paid for advertisements that place them above the actual direct to consumer websites. Additionally, once you do pay for the goods/services, nothing is delivered to you. This means that you may be buying a ticket that does not exist. Their practices that the ticket may be delivered the day before the show. Of course, if you do NOT receive your ticket, you'll be refunded, but that does not cover actually missing an event. I question whether they actually have stock of what they are selling at the time of purchase.

We are prohibited by federal and local regulations from using any language in our advertising that suggests we are the official or primary seller for events. We also state the estimated delivery date in our seller's notes, and the majority of our tickets are transferred shortly after purchase.Some tickets may not be available for transfer until 24 to 48 hours before the show due to venue regulations or transfer platform regulations. For example, some etickets may not have a barcode until 24 hours before the concert or show. This is why our estimated delivery date may not be until ***** hours before the show. Despite this, and despite the fact that there was no issue with the order, our customer service team resolved this issue as a gesture of good faith on 2/26.Ultimately, we're sorry you've had a negative experience with us, and we hope you have a great day!Review fromPeter K

If I could leave a lower review I would. I regrettably purchased tickets from this company. Within 10 minutes, I had found out they overcharged by 3x the actual value of the ticket. I immediately called before there was any exchange of goods (had not received tickets) and they refused to cancel the order. In addition, they continue to claim that I can resell the tickets and they use this as a way to avoid conversations about a refund. The tickets sent are non transferable and they refuse to provide any proof that the tickets they sent are actually valid. The venue of the show has confirmed that there are no tickets for this show purchased in my name. They claim to be a resale company but do not monitor the egregious up charges on tickets. After reviewing state laws I believe they have violated Massachusetts ticket resale laws of limiting the ticket sale price to the price on the physical ticket . I have submitted a formal complaint and claim with the attorney general of Massachusetts to get help with receiving a refund from the company. I hope they also receive the necessary legal response from the state of Massachusetts. Breaking ticket resale laws is subject to revocation of business practice within the state as well as hefty fines. I hope this issue gets resolved soon and I have made sure to communicate to all of my friends, family, coworkers and anyone who will listen that they should not provide business to this shady company. I will continue to give this advice to anyone willing to listen.Event Tickets Center, Inc.

Purchased tickets on Feb 17. Didn't realize it was a secondary market until too late. They cleverly display a set of window wizards to "guide" you through purchase process which dims out the background of the web page where the "Resale marketplace" is posted in small type. They also post on their website, "100% Worry Free Guarantee". Not only were ticket prices marked up 50% there was another $60 service fee per ticket. I have become so used to predatory service fees from online ticket companies like this I foolishly proceeded. I discovered shortly after that the venue sold tickets directly. I called within 30 min to cancel. I was informed all sales were final and that I could only get a 90% voucher for another event or date. So much for 100% Worry Free Guarantees. What a SCAM. The fact they have to document all sales final should be a clue that they are not all that interested in satisfied customers.Event Tickets Center, Inc.

SCAM! BEWARE! I didn't look close enough when I searched for an event and accidentally clicked on event ticket center's site, thinking it was the venue's ticket selling site. I overpaid by $130 per ticket! No luck getting my money back. Lesson learned.Event Tickets Center, Inc.

This site is misleading about its purpose and lists all tickets as being "low inventory". Tickets are upsold at least twice their normal price at the venue. They only state once at the top of their primary web page that they are a ticket resale company and this is in the tiniest of fonts. If they were proud of their purpose, I believe it would be stated more boldly. I did not see that ticket sales were final until I actually processed my payment and I was not warned anytime after being on the main page that this was a resale site. After purchasing my tickets, I realized that there were still plenty of tickets on the venue site and the prices were much lower. After perusing complaint after complaint, it was clear that many customer had tickets that didn't work or were not for their listed seats. These customers then found it quite difficult to obtain refunds. I immediately reached out to customer service with my concerns. We are traveling for the show and do not want to spend money on accommodations only to find that our tickets do not work. We would then be out even more the sale price of tickets. Customer Service only wanted to refund my fees or give me a voucher to use on their site. If I did not want these tickets for fear they would not work, then why would I want to purchase more? They continued to deny me a refund. I think companies like these should have more regulations because they are misleading and fraudulent.Event Tickets Center, Inc.

I purchased tickets online for a popular comedienne and they were $550 EACH plus a $353 service fee! Tickets are for a gift and although expensive, I wanted to secure them before they sold out. I later saw on the SAME website exact tickets for $110 each. SCAM!!Event Tickets Center, Inc.

1 starI purchased 4 tickets for a local hockey game. The ticket price was represented at the beginning at the purchase. After I had accepted the purchase I noticed that the price had nearly doubled with their hidden fees. Pricing was not up front. When I attempted to immediately cancel my order, I received an email stating that my order wouldn’t be canceled. I was offered the opportunity to sell my tickets which still left me out over $100 for this transaction. I hope they don’t sell a single ticket moving forward.Review fromRachel M

So disappointed! I thought I was buying tickets through the venue and only realized while standing in the will-call line for The Nutcracker that the series of "ticket status" and "tickets have been transferred" messages didn't include any barcodes or actual tickets. It was incredibly hard to understand and interpret the directions on my phone, sweating in a crowded lobby, and I wasn't the only customer asking uselessly for help from the venue's box office. We couldn't follow the instructions for the transfer quickly enough, so my family missed the show entirely. Best I can tell, this business' entire premise is misdirection: misleading consumers into thinking they're buying tickets directly, misleading consumers into thinking they're paying a fair price, and in return the consumer gets a series of garbled emails that don't actually get them through the doors. The website took my ticket order, said the order was placed and was being processed and the tickets would be ready on December 14, 2024 the date of the event. The event date came and my tickets were never ready and never transferred to me. The site states "you are guaranteed to receive your tickets before the event" which absolutely did not happen and which I am now out the total purchase price of tickets I never received. As with others, I wish I would have read the negative reviews before ordering tickets from this site. Buyers of tickets from Event Tickets Center beware!!!!Event Tickets Center, Inc.
