I hired them last year to help me with my disability reconsideration. I had filled the disability paperwork myself. The first lawyer helping me suddenly had a bad email and a disconnected phone number. Another lawyer took over and never keeps me informed. **** said there's no record of them representing me. I just got approved for benefits, and do not want to owe them for doing nothing for me. They have not even contacted me in months.Business Response

I reached out to Morgan and Morgan with a concern that involved a medical injury. They reviewed my information and case and called me every day until I signed a contract. On 3/4/24 I docusigned a contract for representation for injury caused by a medication. I have not heard from my legal team since and have been trying to reach them numerous times via e-mail and phone. Despite leaving messages I have had no reply. I have contacted the main number and they can only assist me by giving the number in which I have left messages on for a response. My case is time sensitive, and I have added stress to my medical concerns with trying to unsuccessfully reach a legal team that claims to be for the people.Business Response

Im very disappointed in the treatment for Morgan And Morgan with how many cases Ive given them so that they can make money off of my pain and suffering. I couldve chose any law firm but I chose Morgan And Morgan because I thought they were good boy was I wrong last three years I had them handling my personal Injury claim I was viciously attacked at my job resulting me losing my job serious injuries as As well as PTSD and severe depression also did a chapter 7 bankruptcy but between all the attorneys information was not given to me and I do not feel like my best interest or looked after the result ended up being that Morgan And Morgan settled my case for $200,000 and I got None of that. my attorney got over $80,000 and then without telling me or providing me a closing statement I got hit with another $25,000 in court fees which I assumed came out of the legal fees. This was not properly explained to me. I had to hear about these court fees from opposing attorney, not from my attorney and legal team, which is, inexcusable. I do not like the fact that my attorney had to take on my bankruptcy trustee as a client because I feel like that was a conflict of interest because I suffered I got hurt. My life has been turned upside down and these attorneys and everybody else is making money off my pain and suffering. This was pointless for me even to hire Morgan And Morgan. They dont care about the people theyre not for the people there billboards, TV commercials and ads all scam.Business Response

I was in an auto accident where Morgan and Morgan accepted my case and then stopped all communication with me. After numerous attempts to get answers about my case from them, I notified them that I was firing them as an attorney. Their response was that there wasnt enough money involved for them to pursue the case due to the at fault parties insurance coverage but that there was enough coverage that Geico should have no problem paying our medical bills and for our totaled vehicle. I was then told by *****, the at fault parties insurance that they had NO bodily injury coverage and they wouldnt be paying my family anything except for $10,000 due to the at fault party only having the state minimum coverage. So someone is lying. Now, almost a year later, Morgan and Morgan has refused to send me any of our paperwork from when they were representing me. I need the disclosure of insurance coverage they received from ***** because there are a lot of things not adding up and now the at fault driver has gotten away with destroying my familys life, totaled a vehicle we never were compensated enough to replace and caused my family to go into debt ****** dollars for hospital bills, an emergency surgery my daughter had to have and also gotten away with permanently injuring my knee to where I will never walk normal again and will always be in pain. How can Geico let a driver with multiple past criminal traffic incidents not be required to carry bodily injury coverage? How can an attorney tell someone they are representing them but then never talk to them and then not give them the files for their case? I am rejecting this response because:I do not reject this response but I do not want to close out this complaint either because we have been told by multiple people at Morgan and Morgan that they will send our paperwork but it never comes. I will close the complaint when we receive the paperwork because I dont think they will actually do what they say. My apologies for being skeptical but we have been trying to get our files for a year now and there is a statute of limitations for us to be able to take the at fault party to court.

My 83 year old father was in an auto accident last September. The other party was at fault. He had injuries which were a result from the accident. We hired Morgan & Morgan shortly after the accident to assist in recovering from damage and injuries. My father went to various doctors and had numerous treatments during the course of his recovery. Worse yet, my dad past away May 28th. I am now charged with settling his estate. I had been assisting him with this case from the beginning, often taking him to appointments and aiding in paperwork and phone calls on his behalf. My last encounter with Morgan & Morgan was last Wednesday on the phone with *****. She said she would get with the attorney later that day and give me a call later or Thursday. I had a car accident 12/26/23 and was injured with broken ribs and vertebras in my back . I hired Morgan and Morgan . The communication from Morgan and Morgan has been poor since day one . My case has been given to 3 different case managers without my knowledge I have not been given any documentation on my case I had to call and email for an entire month just to get an update on my case then was told the at fault party only had limited coverage that had a ***** cap and thats all I could get my medical bills are over $50,000 alone I asked why they didnt file a lawsuit considering my medical bills being so much higher than the settlement I was told Morgan and Morgan couldnt take the at fault party to court that would be my responsibility my case has been handled by so many different people it has affected my case as well as the time management of my case now Im still injured and can no longer receive care because I cant afford it and have no medical insurance Im drowning in bills and still getting the run around from Morgan and Morgan . I was involved in a car accident on July 21st 2023. I hired Morgan & Morgan law firm to represent me in the case. In February of 2024, they called with a settlement, I did not agree, so they went back in to negotiate more. They received more to which I agreed. They never sent any paperwork for me to sign and never returned my calls. I went above my attorneys head and spoke with their experience team who were able to get my attorney ************************* to finally call back. He explained they went back in for more, but they never told me any of this. I then went to the office to which I was surprised to learn that ******* was no longer on my case and that my new attorney is a woman named ******. My original case manager left and I was met by a new case manager. Who informed me that ******* did not leave the company but that he was in his office in the back. I was then told by ******* that they attempted to get more money and was waiting. They claimed to have reached out to the medical facilities to which they havent gotten any responses. Yet I was able to get in touch with everyone and attain the information they were waiting for. By May they came to me with a new settlement to which I agreed and signed my paperwork. My case manager told me my check was there he was looking right at it. ****** is his name. But it would take another 2 months before I could get it because they didnt calculate the bills. If the bills werent calculated, how did were they able to negotiate a settlement? I have since called them to find out whats going on and they are still very adamant about not returning calls. My first settlement conversation was in February. We are now in June and Im about to be evicted and no one over there is handling this right.Business Response

On March 10th 2023 my wife and I were hit by a car that crashed another car into us we Contacted Morgan& Morgan to handle our cases they informed us that the checks were on our attorneys desk since then they have switched attorneys twice without informing us we only get information when we call in to the customer experience team I actually had to do some of the footwork myself by contacting *************************** who they said had a lien on our $ finally got them to contact each other got the lien lifted and oh theres another one I guess i might have to do their job for them again they are not contacting who they are supposed to its been over a year we have insurance but they told us that all hospital bills had to be paid from the settlement funds we have signed several release forms they have already deducted their 40%but fail to do their job to get us our portion of whats leftBusiness Response
