      I purchased a Groupon on October 23, 2023, for "Interior Detail and Exterior Wax for Small Car" from ******** ******** Services in ***********, **. The Groupon cost $49.50. Upon showing up to the agreed upon appointment date/time, I was informed by the merchant, ********'s, that the Groupon could not be honored as it was sold, and that the services promised by the Groupon would actually cost an additional $125. We agreed that this was not what we had previously agreed to and that the best option would be to cancel the Groupon since it would not be honored. I contacted Groupon to explain the situation and they refuse to refund the Groupon even though the merchant has indicated it cannot and will not be honored. Groupon therefore fraudulently sold me this Groupon, stating that it would provide a service, while in fact it is not providing anything. Furthermore, I had purchased a second Groupon before this happened, for the same merchant, that I now have to figure out what to do with. Groupon has refused to refund either of these purchases even though the merchant clearly is not honoring the Groupons being sold.

      I am rejecting this response because my financial institution's removal of the charges to my credit card was done so as a "temporarily" while they "work to resolve" this dispute with Groupon. Groupon has not indicated at any point they plan to refund me for the Groupon purchased, and which the vendor/company has been unwilling to honor. The complaint cannot be closed or resolved until there is confirmation from Groupon or my financial institute that charges will remain credited or refunded.

      I am rejecting this response because: My financial institution indicates they removed the charge temporarily, pending a review with Groupon. Until I receive confirmation from either my financial institution or Groupon that the charges will not be reissued, and have been officially refunded, the issue remains open.

      I made the hotel booking through Groupon and below are details:1. The Order ID ************. Name of the deal ************************** 3. Groupon number 1000-146118-458377 4. Date of purchase of the order Purchased on Sept2, 2023 5. Any additional information related to this issue Called the hotel to confirm the Groupon reservation before the flight, they said no confirmation was made and it was cancelled by Groupon. Emailed goupon and ask them to resolve ASAP. Didn't hear from Groupon for two days.However, Groupon charged us for the reservation which was canceled by Groupon reservation which was not canceled by not by us. Groupon said that they would not refund because the hotel told them it is because of a "No show". However, the truth is that we had to reservation and stay in a hotel bought from another vendor because Groupon didn't resolve within two days.

      Was not able to refund my Groupon with king *** or through Groupon. They did not offer the services once i arrived. The people up front stated Groupon is not allowed . I have requested a refund from the *** however the *** explained that the refund should come from Groupon. Groupon will not issue her a refund of $106.20

      I purchased a voucher for a hair service through Groupon on 10/24/23 for $40.50- when attempting to make an appointment with the vendor I was told that extra charges would apply, but the vendor could not quote me a price until services were rendered. This is atypical to how salons operate and unacceptable for a voucher for specific service at a specific cost. I reached out to Groupon for a refund as I am not comfortable booking an appointment where a vendor refuses to quote a price (but did assure me the price would be much higher than advertised/the value of the voucher). Only days since purchasing, Groupon will not cooperate for a solution claiming that the time for a refund has lapsed- even though the voucher doesn't expire for another 174 days, and was only purchased last week.

      I checkd and see that the dal fine print has the restriction, "Additional fees may apply based on texture, length or density".

      On September 4th, I purchased a Groupon deal called "***************** - Six Laser Hair-Removal Sessions for Full Body (5 Areas)" for a total of $915. The order number for this transaction is **********. Unfortunately, I had to leave the country and was unable to use the deal. I contacted Groupon and kindly requested a refund to my original payment method. I also inquired if their policy prevented them from issuing a refund to the original payment, not to proceed with the refund. However, they did not heed my request and refunded the amount in Groupon bucks instead.Groupon bucks are not useful to me as I will be leaving the country shortly. This means that I have effectively lost $915 due to this situation. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining a refund to my original payment method. Your help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

      I used Groupon to purchase a hotel room. When I arrived at the hotel room they had no record of any reservation and I had to pay the hotel directly, after already having paid Groupon. They refused to refund my money they only want to issue a credit. Why would I ever want credit to use with a company that has such poor customer service and made my life so difficult while I was traveling? I want a refund given the fact that I purchased a Service that I never received.

      I checked and see that we tried to process the refund for this reservation but it was failed due to the dispute raised with the bank. In this case, we are unable to re-process the refund to the same card.

      I checked and see that the deal fine print has the info, "Valid for shoulder length hair; upgrades available for hair past shoulders for additional fee". 

      In general, it is not our policy to refund the Groupon that is outside the cancellation window. However, in your case, we have made an exception.

      I've just canceled this order and issued a refund in Groupon Bucks to your account. You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as they have processed.
       
      These Bucks are available immediately and never expire. You can check your balance any time from your [My Groupons](***************************************************************) page.

      I bought two groupons on october 23 2023, at ******************* in ******* **..one groupon was for haircut and style (*****) and another for a Brazilian blowout (*****). The manager there totally refused to take either groupon and so I contacted Groupon via email and explained to them the store will not honor either groupon. Groupon representative emailed me back and said sorry no refund just groupon bucks which I don't want. I just want them to credit my discover card. Can you help me in resolving this issue please??

      Groupon unwilling to honor 3 day return policy. Bought Groupon on 9/22 7:55PM PST, order #****-146332-894974. On 9/25, before the 3 days was over, I tried to refund online, but Groupon did not provide that option. The only way to contact was over email. On 9/25 5:31PM PST, which is approximate **** hours, 2.5 hours away from a full 3 days, I emailed Groupon with the intent to cancel and refund. After several back and forth, Groupon confirmed they would like not to honor their 3 day refund policy as stated here: **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************. I find that Groupon's practice of not allowing to refund online, not providing a chat service and not providing a phone CSR at the time I wanted to process the transaction is an immoral way to circumvent their return policy.

      I purchased 2 laser hair removal Groupons from Palm Beach laser one for a small area and the second for a medium area. The system did not block the purchase, so I was able to purchase it. I initially schedule an appointment sometime in September with the vendor to do both areas but they reached out to me and had to reschedule since they could not take me because I was at the medication I was currently on, I was able to reschedule it for October and when I went to the facility they told me I could only use one of the Groupons that they could not except two from one customer and that it would have to be refunded by Groupon. I had every intention of using both Groupons, but was not able to , therefore I reached out to Groupon to request a refund for the small area laser removal which was $99 which was the one I couldnt use. I explained the situation but they came back and said that the cooling off period had expired and I couldnt get a refund. This is not a cooling off period where I decided I did not want the Groupon. I literally cannot use it with the vendor. They told me to reach out to Groupon to get it refunded because they cannot honor a second Groupon, which I wasnt aware because the system didnt block me from purchasing it. If I had found out earlier I wouldve requested a refund earlier.
