      In June of 2024, we attempted to use a TJ Maxx gift card at a TJ Maxx store, which was purchased from the Meijer store at ******************************************************************************. The ******* associate advised us that there was no money on the card, even though the credit card receipt validating the purchase was attached and available. ** Maxx advised us that it was not their issue because the card had been purchased at another merchant (Meijer). Since that time, we have made approximately 7 calls to Meijer **************** *************) regarding our complaint (CS1110454). Each time we call, we get the same message that someone is working on it and they will get back to us. That only happened 1 time out of 7 times, and the issue is still not resolved. All we are asking for is that the original credit card be credited for the amount of $40, which was the amount of the original purchase. Or, send us a new gift card in the amount of $40. It should not be this difficult to get resolution for such a simple transaction and we are looking for assistance.

      Hello. I'd like to close this complaint please. The Manager at the Meijer store in ********* reached out to us and provided a new gift card, plus an extra gift card for our trouble. We are completely satisfied with the resolution and would like to close this complaint. Thank you.

      Called Meijer Pharmacy Ionia Michigan, spoke to a ******, and explained that I needed to have my prescription filled today, as I have to return to work tomorrow, and work 12 hour days, in ************. He wanted me to transfer it there, and said no problem, once transferred, he said sorry we can't fill this, despite it being past 28 days required by law.. Now I will have to call into work to fill my prescription. He also refuses to send this back to the previous pharmacy.

      Today's Date: September 7, 2024 Attn: Better Business Bureau Subject: Meijer call center Agent ***** denied me services regarding my complaint Friday, September 6, 2024, I called Meijer in ********* today at ************ at 2:55 pm. But that call was routed to their *********** at their headquarters in ************ at ********************************************************* When I called a ***** answer the phone. I informed him I was in the Meijer store in Royal oak this morning and purchased some items. When I got home I didn't see the ice cream I purchased. I believe I left it there. I asked him can someone check to see was it left or review the camera footage to see did I left it, dropped it or took it with me. He was vague. He didn't respond. He said come to customer service. I asked to speak with the Store Director *********. He refused. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and then he hung up on *******'s the recording of that:September 6, 2024 with ***** at 2:45 pm from their main call center in ************ location ********************************************************************************** I believe the Meijer headquarters CEO is still directing his call center staff to retaliate against me due to past complaints against his store.Hopefully this can be addressed.

      Around August 29, 2024 I did my daily walk to the Meijer *********** Station. There was only one employee on duty at the time. To which this employee had no recollection of my transaction as he was too busy staring out the window. My card kept telling me to insert and then beeping. I asked "Did it go through" The employee just looked at me and was "huh". I said "Am I good?" To which he crumpled up the receipt and said "Yes what's the problem".To which my reply was "Your customer service skills suck". The ********************** Employee did respond "Why do you have to be such a dick?". To which I asked him to clarify "Did you call me a dick". He replied to my question with "Yes your a dick". I informed the Management and was very upset I was treated like this from a representee of Meijer. To which I am told "we will work on it". The employee is still employed there after other complaints from other customers. This is the kind of representation that Meijer wants for their store I believe. I would not have a job if I talked to my clients this way.

      On the 28th of June 2024 I spent $54.99 on a pair of Skechers Slip Resistant shoes. I was wearing the shoes in a restaurant and nearly broke my arm when I fell. The Meijer store are falsely advertising these are slip resistant shoes.

      Over a month ago 07/10/24 and now this month I've been promised twice I'd receive a rebate/coupon for my poor store experiences. The coupons never arrived and I'm sure were never ever sent. Customer support is non existent and every employee I've spoken too including (who claims to be) the store manager. They discriminate against handicapped and disabled people. I've never felt so disrespected in my whole life. I'll be using up the last of my Meijer Rewards points and bringing my business elsewhere. The store is dingy and dirty looking. Employees are rude, disrespectful and discriminatory! I've had several hours of my time wasted and hundreds of dollars worth groceries lost. Sale prices don't come up at the register and I've been triple charged for items.

      Turned prescription to pharmacy on Tuesday night and was told to pick up the next day. Went Weds..not readywent Thurs.. not readyFriday went to pick up and not ready. Was then told they needed to call the ** to clarify the script. This was a med that was needed and on Friday afternoon (4:30pm) trying to get ahold of ********** Now my gf (her prescription) has no meds until maybe Monday. Zero communication from the pharmacy about any reason not to fill until after trying to pick it up the third time. Now no meds means for entire weekend!!! How can a pharmacy not communicate to a customer about not being able to fill a script for three days?? No meds for an entire weekend because of a sheer lack of communication!

      How do I know that the actions mentioned by Meijer will actually happen? I heard what *********************** had to say but I am not convinced that the Meijer pharmacy will be followed through upon!

      Deceptive marketing. Vital information is blocked by sign holder. Manager was made aware but no corrections have been made. There is vital information about what is not included 8n the sale being blocked by the sign holder, thus tricking consumers.

      On 8/17/2024, the Meijer Pharmacist, a young man name unknown, refused for the 2nd time to refill my prescription for headaches... Imitrex. The first time he refused was about a month ago, while I was there in person. He stated that he "disagreed" with my doctor about refilling my prescription and began asking personal health questions, in front of everyone working there, about my blood clots, headaches, next doctors appointment date, etc: While I am sure that he can legally refuse to refill my prescription for whatever BS reason he decides MY PERSONAL HEALTH INFO is ABSOLUTELY none of his business; much less everyone else working there. In my book this is GOING WAY OVER THE LINE! This young pharmacist fancies himself a doctor... which he is not, and he certainly is not my doctor. However, after giving me a hard time he refilled the prescription that time. This past Saturday, he went way too far, over the phone, prodding into when my next Neurologist appointment was scheduled, and asking personal questions about my health which is again none of his business, and I told him so this time which made him angry and he refused to refill my imitrex stating it was "dangerous" and he disagreed with my doctor! He told me to take my prescription "somewhere else". He based this on my previous blood clots that I am currently being treated for, but I no longer have them, but I am still on the medicine. He does not know that I no longer have clots and its frankly, once again, none of his business. If he has a problem with the prescription he can call and take it up with my doctor but he cannot prod into my private health issues in front of the whole world. Imagine how uncomfortable you would be in public with a pharmacist asking you personal health questions in front of others! This unprofessional pharmacist has no idea how much he caused me to suffer from the nausea, dizziness, and sick feeling of a migraine for nearly 3 days because of this BS. *********************

      I would also like to add that someone put the wrong directions for taking this medication on the bottle! It says take one tablet every two hours when you're supposed to take no more than two in a 24 hour period. How does this happen? Luckily, I wasn't dumb enough to take one every two hours. This is when a drug becomes dangerous when you are told to take it the wrong way. Thanks

      As of 8/23, the Pharmacy leadership has investigated the situation. The customer has been dismissed from the pharmacy due to previous behavior. The Pharmacy leadership area has not heard back yet from the customer.

      OK, now I really have a problem with Meijer Pharmacy at ********. What previous behavior??? This is a huge lie. I have never had a problem with anyone up there but that pharmacist, and I've never even raised my voice to him except for on the phone the last time I talked with him. Drop me from the pharmacy?
      Here is another lie, I called Kroger in ******* and had everything transferred up there nobody dumped me at ********! This is retaliation at its best for filing the BBB complaint. I will contact the store manager at Meijer. How does the BBB close the complaint? Nobody has communicated with me until I receive this email today. Thanks.
