1 starThe wording in there contract gets them out of paying for repairs. I had a fuel injector that went bad. They covered the fuel injector but would not cover the damage caused by the fuel injector. I had to replace my engine in my Jeep for $10,600 out of pocket. They would not help a bit. Would not recommend this company. Look elsewhere youll find better.Review fromKay R

2 starsVery dissatisfied with CarShield I am their member for many years. The paid the small claims , but this time my car needed Throttle body because transmission had shifting problem. My dealer *************** called and they denied the claim saying it is not covered. I end up paying whole bill of $1200 to fix my car. I called many other ***********. They all said we do cover Throttle body. But car shield said No. I have Platinum coverage with CarShield.Yesterday my friend called Car shield for buying new coverage for her Car she especially asked CarShield agent ******* is Throttle body covered he said YES. I am so surprised how they trap people for saying Platinum coverage all covered when time comes after paying them years they deny ur claim . I am paying them auto pay since 6-7 years , I am so frustrated and deceived. I wish they could refund my 1 year payment back . Now I am shopping around to get some real honest car Warrenty people. I am senior and Retired they don,t understand how hard it is to pay high bill. we take Warrenties to get peace of mind but what is the use if we don,t get help when we need. People be very very careful when buying car Warrenty from CarShield. Or you will end up like me FRASTRATED !Review fromJohn B

5 starsGot a 8000 quote from shop that worked with them Im only paying 800! Everyone was professional and courteous. Did take a week for inspection but worth the wait. Had too do some leg work to get info on rental assistance but seems to be all lined up. Overall great savings and easy process. Im guessing because I went to a shop used to working with them. 1 starNever have I met such a scam like car shield. Those paid actors who are telling people how good they are, are full of *****. This warranty service is set up to deny your claim ASAP. I pay ****** a month for *****. My GMC ****** has ****** and had engine troubles and they are not going to fix it. *** do I pay them for. What a scam do not buy car shield.Review fromRonald W

5 starsWe have been satisfied customers since 2019 and currently have two vehicles covered. Fortunately, have had to call upon CarShield only twice, and they handled each situation conveniently, professionally and completely. 1 starAfter 2.5 years of payments I filed a claim when my car would not shift. They denied it because they don't consider the part needed as a piece of the transmission. I asked how it was possible the shifter to put the transmission in gear is not part of the transmission and they said it is a component of the transmission but they only cover the enclosed parts. They know they have loopholes in the contracts to keep from having to pay out.Review fromCurtis B

4 starsI like CarShield. So far they have saved me several hundred dollars on car repairs. The car that I have covered by them is a 2010 Camaro SS with ****** miles on it. It doesn't get driven a lot, but it gives me peace of mind that if anything major does go wrong, I'm covered.
