5 starsMy husband passed away last month and I was not feeling like changing things over in my name but it had to be done and she was so sweet and professional and before I knew it we were done and she offered me her condolences, I'm a big fan of CarShield and would recommend them to everyone.

1 starwith CarShield has been so ridiculous that I have to warn people. I got a CarShield warranty specifically to protect my Porsche Macan, and when something finally went wrong, they completely left me hanging.First, they told me over the phone that my plan definitely covered engine and electrical issues. Fast-forward a few months later, my Macan started having serious electrical problems dashboard lights going crazy, car wouldnt start reliably so I brought it into a certified shop. The mechanic contacted CarShield, and suddenly CarShield couldnt find the coverage they promised me when I signed up.They kept transferring me from department to department, giving me different excuses every time. One *** literally told me, We dont cover luxury vehicle repairs of this nature, even though they had NO problem taking my monthly payments for over a year. Another *** said they needed to run additional verification, which turned into almost three weeks of silence. Meanwhile, I was stuck without my ****** the end, they denied the claim for a completely made-up reason saying it was a pre-existing condition, even though the car had just passed a full inspection when I bought the policy. I ended up paying thousands out of pocket while CarShield did nothing.This company is a scam, they lie to get your money, and when you actually need help, they vanish. 1 starI signed up for CarShield and after 2 months I decided to cancel. That was over a year ago, and they have hounded me with multiple phone calls every day! They refuse to stop no matter what I tell them. They are a predatory company. Stay away from them!

1 starCarShield has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing companies Ive ever dealt with. The coverage I was promised and the coverage I actually got were two completely different things. When it came time to use the plan, I felt stonewalled, misled, and dismissed at every turn.Customer service? Absolutely terrible. Getting clear answers was nearly impossible, and every conversation felt like a runaround designed to wear me down instead of help me.When I filed a complaint with the BBB, I genuinely felt like the process was stacked against the customer. After looking through other cases, it seemed to me that the pattern was the same: customers raising legitimate concerns and getting nowhere. That was the final red flag.If youre considering CarShield, I strongly recommend digging into real customer reviews and ******************** complaints before you hand over your money. You will find that CarShield has the BBB in their back pocket. Every ruling goes against the customer. This is because ********************** is in ********, where you must take your complaints, no matter where you reside. Speaking from my experience, this has been nothing but a waste of money, time, energy, and trust.

CarShield, based out of ********, is a seller of *************** Contracts (VSCs). A *** is an agreement to provide specific vehicle repair services and has specific inclusions and exclusions, based on the level of coverage purchased by the customer. When a *** is purchased, the customer has 30 days to review the agreement to ensure it meets their needs. The customer can cancel the agreement at any time during the initial 30 days for a full refund.******************** (***), a separate entity based out of ********, is a VSC Administrator. *** administers the repair claims for **** sold by a variety of sellers. *** manages the repair claims process for customers, determines ********************** eligibility under each customers specific VSC coverages, and facilitates the resolution of approved claims.CarShield requested that the Administrator of your *************** Contract examine your claim based on the review you have provided. 5 starsKinda disappointed finding out the they dont cover fuel injectors on our 2500HD Silverado. But very satisfied with CS, and all other coverages. Time will tell if all claims are covered as we just enrolled! They seemed much better than other companies.

3 starsI had to put my 2016 Dodge Journey in the shop to get worked on in September 2025. So I had to rent a vehicle to still be able to move around. I rented car vehicle on September 3- September 15th 2025. When the place where my vehicle was called me stated my car was ready. I had went to turn in rental car. The Hertz rental place then took me to the place where my vehicle was at. The amount of the car rental was $693.53. I then called CarSheild back and submitted copy of receipt. I just got my check yesterday but it wasnt for the full amount, it was for $346.78 thats not full amount that I was told and thats not what my receipt shows what I sent CarShield. Im so ****** because I pay my monthly bill every month and do everything right. But when I finally needed to use the rental reimbursement part of CarSheild I got screwed. I talked to a supervisor she tells me that I got only seven days back but when I sent my receipt back I was informed that would get all of my money I used to purchase car rental back. That is what online says as well. I want my whole refund amount back.

1 starYoung man named *******, who no longer works there, sold me a policy that covered anything and everything. It was like the dream of a lifetime. Being 66 years old honestly I believe the dude. I had just canceled another policy that had a very limited coverage and he swore to me that this was not the same that this was extensive. We had the full conversation. I guess she just wanted the kickback. He sold me a lie.I've been paying 130 a month for 10 months. Turns out my car is insured for absolutely nothing but the powertrain in the engine. It is not covered however for something that actually needs to be repaired in order for the engine to work well. The engine light has been on for 6 months and they have been trying to trace it. With me reaching a 10-month goaI figured it was time for me to have it checked out. So I finally put the car in the shop. Only to find they do not cover this. The engine has to blow up for them to cover it.Bogus scam people! Do not use carshield.They do not care about you. They do not care about your car. They do not care about your safety on the road obviously.Excellent mechanic told them yesterday that this was absolutely necessary in order for the engine to maintain it's continued power and working capabilities. He did not expect them to deny this. He is as shock as I am. So I guess they want this to go bad, so the engine blows up on me while I'm in the car. Or perhaps the engine loses power when I'm going up or down hills. Or just doesn't start on a day. I guess they want you to suffer before they can jump in and rescue you with your own money because they ******* problem? I come from a generation where people shook hands, believed each other and they absolutely did what they were supposed to do. They live their word, they walked their walk.Carshield is not one of these places and you need not be a part of this are you may find yourself on the side of the road, without roadside service.
