      Very upset. I purchased a Car Shield Platinum Contract for my ****** Tundra on around Memorial Day Weekend of 2024. It is now late July. I experienced a cooling system problem. I called Car Shield and began a claim. They told me to take the vehicle to my ****** Dealer and when he contacted them theyd discuss how they were going to pay for it. I thought great. When I got to the dealer and he called they denied my claim. Told him I didnt have enough miles to qualify for any services. It was never explained to me by the rep who sold me the contract that there was a mileage quota. All he said was minimum 25 days maximum 40 days for coverage to start. He left the mileage quota part conveniently out. He also didnt tell me that the mechanic might not get paid his full amount for his services or that a USED part might be installed for the repair. So when I discovered all this and was denied my claim I had enough. I called to cancel and ask for a full refund. Four different reps tell me my contract was cancelled and closed but they still havent cancelled me yet. I had to put a stop payment on them with my bank. I asked for a full refund for the three months I paid for at $138.60 a month and they told me I will not receive a dime back. This company is misleading. They leave things out when they sell to you and they lie. Then they look for excuses to not pay for you and if they do decide to pay then they undercut your mechanic and they have a USED part replace your bad part instead of new. None of this is explained to you when your contract is sold to you over the phone. Very misleading. Im still pursuing my refund. I only made three payments and was never allowed to use the service. I want my money back. They are refusing and giving me a runaround. I will go to Small Claims Court if I must. My advice is to avoid Car Shield. Save your $138.60 a month in a seperate savings account and use that for your repairs when needed.

Upon further review our sales representative did recap the miles as well as the days in the waiting period.       The WORST investment made with Car Shield, and always trying to DENY CLAIMS youve encounter. Sales team are customer oriented but the ****************** is TERRIBLE.

      They refused to pay full price of repair the contract states my choice on repair station and **************************** to pay almost 4 thousand towards repair

      Car shield will not cover the total cost of repairs. You will be hundreds of dollars out of pocket! I strongly suggest using a different company for your coverage needs. They were very unhelpful and didn't care.

      I have been burned by aftermarket warranties before and I had heard from friends about Car Shield so I decided to risk and sign up with them. I can tell you that everything Car Shield claims to be and do is without doubt absolutely true. I can't recommend them more. Thank you.

      Frustrated and tried to reach out to them via phone and chat , agent wasnt really willing to listen via phone and online chat agent ended the chat before I could respond. We have been with cashiered for a few years , never had a claim. We were on vacation with truck and camper, and dogs over the holiday , making it difficult to find some who could and would work on it over the holiday. We got a room and rental car while it was in the shop. We realize our bad was not calling them first , slipped our minds , reached out to our reg auto insurance.limited driving of the truck after 3 locations finding someone to work on it. ( diesel) The holiday and stress .. they seem very disinterested in any of it and just said nope not covered

      Car shield has cost me over $3000 dollars having my car in a shop. Im a dialysis patient and I had to find transportation too dialysis waiting on the Car shield to fix my car and find parts. They have taken our money for over 4 years and now were having a hard time getting our car repaired. I feel taken advantage of through Car shield. I pray no one else trust them.

      Took car in to dealer, needed new transmission, CarShield authorized a ****** from a 3rd party. After not having a vehicle for nearly 3 months, and car still running bad, dealer claims transmission is defective, 3rd party is not replacing it cause dealer released car to me, and CarShield said its my responsibility to work this out with the dealer. None of the 3 parties are taking any accountability therefore CarShield is forcing me to pay out of pocket to fix my car. It is CarShields responsibility to get my Car fixed!! CarShield is horrible to work with! Repair shops dont want to have anything to do with CarShield, I know now that they have a bad reputation in the industry. Again, it is CarShields responsibility to get my car fixed!! That is what I am paying them for. Dont fall for the false advertisements scripted for celebrities. I have made numerous attempts to speak to a Manager at CarShield over the last 3 months and absolutely no one from that company cares. I truly believe their employees must obtain bonuses for as many DENIED claims they get throughout the year. When CarShield advised me that I needed to rectify this issue with the repair shop they also emailed me paperwork to dispute their decision. In the meantime, I have not had a running car since mid April and we are now in mid-July. Ive had to spend $100s to rent vehicles to get to work during this time and now they want me to pay for my own repairs knowing that none of this is my fault!! CarShield does not care about their customers!!!

      After reviewing the claim it appears that the repair shop did not program the transmission before releasing the vehicle back to you. Due to this error it would fall on the repair shop to handle as they did not program the transmission before releasing the car back to you. This will stay denied.Customer Relations.
