I didnt even wanna put one star because they dont even deserve that it was the most costly experience of my life miserable, Stressful and absolutely no help a waste of money and I truly hope they get shut down by the Better Business Bureau after this because this is ridiculous they should not be taking a vantage of people and thats all they doCarShield

I purchased this contract with the belief that this was a reputable company. Three weeks ago my motor went out and I filed a claim after two weeks of no action and my car sitting at Kia dealership they came back and said that the motor felld because of my piston rings. My claim was denied. There was never any indication that the piston rings cause my motor to fail. The piston rings may have been a symptom of the motor failure but it was not the cause. They won't provide me anything in writing and simply refer me back to the contract. The contract means nothing to me if I don't know the bases of their denial. 1 starMy Opinion I'm a Repair Shop that Car Shield requested that I would be a ( Authorized Repair Shop) After 4 Customers came in (referred to my shop by them) They Have declined every repair! I"ve Been in this industry for 30 year and have dealt with every Warranty Company out there, and I have never seen a Warranty Company Come up with such ******** reasons to decline Repairs. I feel Sorry For the people that got suckered in to buying this **** If you have it Cancel it and buy one that will actually pay for a repair if you need it. Best I have seen is ******** or ***. Those guys Will Cover repairs! And Yes I'm Calling Car Shield Today and having them remove my shop from their list of Authorized Repair Facilities.Review fromVictoria P

I dont even give CarShield one star!! They are liars, scams and they take peoples money but wont help like they say when they are selling you their warranty!! 2 years I been paying this piece of **** place and I cant even get anything on my car fixed like they said it would! I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy! This place should be shut down and ashamed! Them fake a** commercials on tv! Hope they pay them people to lie on tv cause they sure cant pay their bills to anyone!CarShield

Based on this review records indicate that a claim was started online. However, a diagnosis and estimate for the needed repairs was never received. The claim was marked inactive. No actions could be taken without a diagnosis and estimate for repairs to adjudicate the claim according to the terms of the Vehicle Service Contract. The administrator has attempted to call you directly multiple times and it appears that your phone is set to block unknown calls, therefore emails were sent and no reply has been received. Calls have been made to your repair facility as well with messages left and no calls returned. THIS IS THE BIGGEST RIP-OFF IN CAR WARRENTY HISTORY-----I told my daughter to buy it for her car as I thought(THATS WHAT I GET FOR THINKING)----since she could not afford a big bill in repaires-----She had her car serviced with premium motor oil at oil change shop here locally; When the oil pump froze and ruined the engine-----CARSHIEL REFUSED TO PAY FOR IT BECAUSE SHE DID NOT HAVE HER OIL CHANGES AT A CHEVY DEALERSHIP GIVE ME A BREAK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!----WE FOUGHT AND FOUGHT WITH THEM TO NO AVAIL ------SHE HAD PAID 4 YEARS OF PROTECTION WITHOUT EVER NEEDING SEVICE TILL THEN-------THESE PEOPLE ARE ****** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CarShield

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Thank God I only paid one month for this coverage. They only cover 50% of what could possibly go wrong with your car. Now I’m stuck with a 454 dollar bill. No problem I can pay it. But I will never do business with these people again. Buyer beware. They’ll be out of business soon enough.CarShield

Car Shield is not who they say they are. They have ********* and *******************, the former head coach from the ************** advertising. Car Shield cant afford to have their vehicles under warranty because their car are too expensive . I have a *** X5 my compressor went out. I should of only paid $100 for the coverage. The total for everything would of been $3600. My advisor said that they denied it and I called Car Shield back with my advisor on the phone. The representative wanted to send *** a compressor. My advisor informed them that they dont ship parts. Car Shield was refusing to pay for new Freon. The man on the phone told my advisor to use the old freon. I paid $903. Car Shield isnt a good company. That is why they are so cheap. I had a oil leak which is something they should of covered that portion was $1900. My **** ended up being $2600. I had to get a battery and a oil change but I am aware that those 2 items isnt covered. Car Shield will always find a way not to pay something. My advisor told me at *** that Car Shield has never paid anything for any of his customers. I will be seeking a attorney for what I paid. Car Shield is a SCAM.CarShield

I started CarShield in February cause my grandpa ranked it up so highly. But for me it has been nothing but a headache. I paid for services I did not receive. I was lied to multiple times. My repairs took about 2 1/2 weeks to be completed.They say you pay for rental reimbursement and they do not end up reimbursing you anything. I have waited almost 2 months for my reimbursement to arrive in the mail and nothing. They dont even try to help you track the payment down they just continue to give the same bull stuff of lies. Even the dealer ship got tired of dealing with them on my claim as they was just taking their sweet time response to them. I am highly upset and dont recommend this extended warranty to my cat! She has a better chance at nine lives.CarShield

My 2015 Ford Escape needed a new turbo. My mechanic called Carshield and was told that this was covered. He ordered all the parts and completed the repair. He was then told, by Carshield, that because he didn't take picture of the old turbo, the claim was denied. I call that a pretty lame excuse. I would not recommend Carshield to anyone. The repair cost me $2348.00. Buyer beware.CarShield
