Their objective is to take large amounts of $ from u. I am a disabled vet offered a huge discount of an $11, ****** price to put up basic shelves and clothing racks!!! While all 7 other pages are in normal ******************************************* VERY small print and lists 11 items requiring one's initials. If she even told me, she placed no emphasis on a 72 hour cancelation policy, or they would insist on taking your $$. No refunds even 6 weeks out on 3rd business day following contract signature. They count the day you signed. You must sign and drop at office written cancelation by 3rd business day. Looking over paperwork over weekend and then talking to homeowner [family member] I realized I had made a very bad decision. They don't care, don't listen to any points or complaints.

We are so sorry to hear that your experience with our company has not met your expectations.  It is not our intention to take large amounts of money from hard working individuals in our community.  As a Veteran of Our Armed Forces you were provided a Military discount for your sacrifice to our country.  You mentioned that you are a disabled veteran, our experienced designer worked with you to create a closet system that made accessing your clothing easier.  It is our desire to make the lives our customers less stressful.  Therefore, we are cancelling the signed agreement.  Customer satisfaction is our top priority.  We wish you all the best in the future.  Please let us know if you have any additional questions, concerns, or comments, or if we may be of assistance at any point in the future.  

This is our second time obtaining services from Closet by Design. We had a wonderful designer by the name of ***** who provided us everything we needed and requested at a very reasonable price. However, we were highly disappointed in the service and cost of the Garage cabinet installation of $8800. On Jan 6, we had closet designer ***************************** who arrived 1 hour late and didn't notify us of her tardiness. We had to contact the company to obtain the status. She took inaccurate measurements. She didn't listen to us when we explained the design we wanted and needed. The installers arrived and the cabinets were not flushed (As requested) and the design was very disappointing for the price. Therefore, we had to have another designer come out to obtain exact measurements and fix the issue. We were not only charged for the initial installation that was not completed and also charged an additional cost for them to rectify the situation. Supervisor *************************** was dismissive when explaining the initial designer made errors and the design was unacceptable. The price was outrageous. We will never recommend or utilize the services of closet by design again.

February 16, 2023 Re:Better Business Bureau Complaint Customer:******************************* ************* and ****** ***************** contracted with us to manufacture and install custom garage cabinet on October 3, 2022, in the amount of $4,990.00. The installation took place on January 6, 2023. The manufacturing and installation of the cabinets were per the designs signed by *****************. The design was a collaborative effort between ***************** and our designer *****************************. Cabinets varied in size to fit workout equipment, to store totes and to stay within the limitation of the return wall. The sizes of the cabinets are presented on the approved designs. Please see attached signed contract and design.Post installation ***************** requested to have all cabinet increased to 24 deep. In addition, she requested to have additional DesignWall (pvc slatwall) to be installed. ***************** spoke to Sales Manager *************************** and expressed her dissatisfaction with the designer and design. **************** explained that the cabinets could be changed at cost. Later, **************** spoke with ****************. **************** requested a new designer to address the changes. Senior Designer *************************** was assigned to meet with Mr. and ******************On January 19, 2023, ********************* met with the Greenes to increase the depth of the cabinets and add more DesignWall, and DesignWall accessories. A contract was signed in the amount of $3,730.00 with a deposit of $2,000.00 for this additional work. New custom garage cabinets were manufactured. This order was installed on February 10, 2023. The DesignWall accessories were not available at install due to a cyber-attack on our vendors web site. In addition, a piece of fascia is required to be replaced and our **************** team is presently working on a date to perform that work. Post install, the Greenes inexplicably stated that they did not understand that they were responsible for the remaining balance of $1,200.00, even though they signed a contract.
