    On Feb 7th I used their website to draw up a Room Rental Agreement for a one time charge of $1.00 On Feb 14th they charged me $49.95 March 14 pending chare $49.95

    I used the site to print off a document, paying a $1.99 one time charge for just that document. Two months later on 01/19/2025 I noticed a charge from Legal Templates for *****, and upon searching my account found that I'd been charged on December as well. I immediately contacted them to explain that I didn't sign up for any service, that it was just a $1.99 charge to share the document. They offered to refund the $1.99 but said they can't locate any account under my name so can't refund or even cancel whatever subscription I was being charged for. I'm continuing to receive these charges monthly and getting zero help from them. They need to figure out whatever's going on and fix it, and refund those charges immediately. I paid for a ONE TIME document share, it said nothing about signing up for a trial. This is a huge scam and people need to be warned!

     I am rejecting this response because:
    I do not have any other email associated with the account. The only account I have with this company shows as a free plan from back in April of 2022. The last 4 digits of the card are 5360 and there is another charge pending as of this morning. This is now $200 of charges for an account that I've been told can't be located since November of last year. My bank statements are electronic so I'm not sure how to provide a copy.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    Neither Clockwiselake email I have contains anything regarding Legal Templates. The one at ***** has been deactivated because I haven't used it in so long and the one at gmail has only the welcome letter from when I opened it. 

    It is impossible for me to know that I'm being billed through an email that doesn't exist, and there should have been someone on your end that caught the emails being returned to you for the account not existing. 

    During that time I was extremely unwell and ended up hospitalized with delirium just a few weeks later due to previously undiagnosed hypothyroidism that had gotten so severe my organs were shutting down. I don't recall even making an account and have no idea why I would have. 

    Regardless of whether I canceled in time, you guys are still very much at fault for not requiring email verification to set up an account to ensure customers know they're being billed. I contacted numerous times since first being billed in December and just kept getting told "there's no account" because I'd have never thought to provide a deactivated email. 

    All of the charges need to be reversed as I've not used the service at all. I couldn't even log in to it, and I had no way of knowing how to cancel since I wasn't receiving billing emails. If you guys had taken the time to verify the email being used I'd have been able to cancel, but without billing emails coming into ANY of my mailboxes I had no way of knowing. OR any way of logging in.

    I used their service via the free trial on their website. The advertised price post trial was $39.95. I forgot to cancel the service and was charged. I called and attempted to get a refund but was informed it was not possible. Unfortunately I was not only charged but overcharged by $10 (a total of $49.95) which was not displayed anywhere on their website as the true cost of their service post trial. It has been 8 months since I was overcharged and my bank has still not been able to do anything about this dishonest transaction.

    Needed to print a legal form for a contract in Sept 2024, and stumbled upon ********************************** Free trial. Great, i said, just what i need. Turns out, that means you are signing up and they will automatically process your monthly subscription for the most expensive possible plan they offer at $49.99 a month!!!!!!! They have lower monthly subscriptions available but you are automatically put into the most expense one on purpose. I have been charged $49.99 a month since September 23rd. and reoccured everyone month since. Costing me over $300.00!!!! Very shady business dealings and unclear that you are automatically signed up for the most expense monthly payment. Sure sounds like a scam to me. I am requesting a ********* NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    I used this service to create a tenant agreement. It gave the option of a free month, but I put my credit card info. It never stated that I would be charged monthly, I never got an email stating money would be coming out of my account. I tried to contact for a refund, however, there are no phone numbers. You have to wait over 30 minutes or more for a chat, if you don't respond quick enough they end the chat and you're stuck. I would just like to have my money refunded. This company is not a good company.

    I used the legaltemplates free trial in Sept 2023 for writing up a prenuptial agreement. I canceled the subscription though I no longer have the email stating it was canceled. I have never used their service again but noticed today that they have been charging me 39.99$ per month since.

     I am rejecting this response because:
     I do remember canceling this service before the free trial ran out. They can view their records and see that I have never logged in again since Sept 2023 and used their services since the free trial. If they want to charge me for the first two months, I will accept that, but keeping $600 for a service they have not actually provided is unethical. They should be required to detect inactivity before continuing to charge $100s of dollars.

    Sneaky billing means that I signed up for a 7 day trial and was billed for over a year with no receipts being emailed before my ********** found this charge and notified me. I used the trial on day 1 and never intended to be a customer yet they won't refund me at all. Scummy and immoral business practices.

    Company signed me up for a trial that then converted into their most expensive membership plan. I did not willingly sign up for that plan and never used the service after the trial. This company is notorious for doing this kind of thing.

    I submitted this complaint under the incorrect email ******************** I am correcting it with the email used on the website in question ************************ Legal Templates signed me up for a trial that then converted to their most expensive plan. I did not know I was signing up for that and I certainly would not have signed up for the most expensive one. I never used the service after the trial.
