      They hide the actual cost of the contacts by adding a HUGE Fee called Taxes and Fees. Very manipulative practice that I'm surprised is legal... It was over $300 that didn't appear in my quote when it told me how much the contacts were going to cost. Then in the final step when asking for payment, the Total cost was over $300 more than the original quote. Over 50% more than the price of the contacts... Unreal! When I called to ask what it was about, they gave a corporate answer that they couldn't differentiate Taxes vs Fees. This is clearly a lie. They do know exactly how much the Taxes are for a purchase. Or at least they should... This misleading sales practice should be illegal, if it's not.

      I have used lens.com for several years now, super easy to reorder, I get the annual amount of lenses. Price is lower than others. I send the rebates and usually get them on time. It would be best to get the discount at the time of purchasing.

      I had to return a defective box of contacts. The return and credit went smoothly enough, but I just went to order the box that I returned. Had a credit for the box, I expected to pay shipping, but then they tried to charge be $26.74 for "taxes". Not sales tax,,,,,that i get....their business tax. $26.74 on a box of lensed that cost $61.24. Never again.

      Lens.com is so easy to use. I checked many other providers and you cant beat the price after the rebate. I use to buy from 1-800 Contacts, not anymore.

      WITH the rebate the cost of several boxes of contacts was competitive. The contacts were late but arrived and were what was expected/ordered. Simple order process and we had used them before. I now have some misgivings about this whole "rebate" process. I dutifully sent in the rebate form with purchase confirmation via USPS......and it apparently never arrived. Or did it? I had used them before and did not use USPS delivery confirmation. MY mistake, but another step which quite frankly seems weird and adds extra effort. I will not use Lens.Com again. Burned once and the cost this time was far more than other providers "outright" price. I think if they get a few orders they never have to pay rebates on, then it works out for the company.

      I. Hate. Rebates. Just give us the rebate savings without our having to get a stupid rebate on a shopping card.

      Prices don't match what is advertised. My order summary showed $9.99/box (fine print: after rebate), but then they tacked on $98 in fees, $9.95 shipping, and wanted me to pay $233 and trust that they would pay the rebate. False advertising, get real prices elsewhere.
