Lexisnexis Risk Solutions has placed a DUI conviction on my daughters driving record. They claim this occured on 20 January, 2023, and that her license was suspended on 03/08/2023 -- but this never happened. My daughter, ******, never received a DUI. My insurance company, ******, **************, has since January of this year increased my policy price by 100%. I have emailed my daughters' DMV driving report to ****** and they are now rectifying it, but other auto insurance companies all claim the same thing based on the erroneous mistake of Lexisnexis Risk Solutions.I called LexisNexis about a month ago and still not have received the form in the mail. I called again today. I spoke to someone in the *********** who is asking for my daughter's social security number -- I refuse to provide that. Moreover this huge company is still requiring people to wait for them to mail them a form. Thereafter you have to mail it back to them. This is in 2025.This delay of justice is costing me a lot of money. I have my family of four on my insurance auto policy. I need immediate action to correct this error for my daughter: ****** ********.

I am writing to formally dispute the inaccurate and outdated personal information contained in my LexisNexis Consumer Report. Upon reviewing my file, incorrect names, addresses, and phone numbers, as well as inaccurate information being improperly shared with financial institutions. This is a direct violation of my consumer rights under federal and New Jersey state law I requested a security freeze back in Nov 2020 and then again in Sept 2022 and i thought the freeze was in effect due to identity theft b but Lexis Nexis ignored and failed to protect my information and even started reporting in accurate and fraudulent information. ******* made me aware that names that were not My name appeared on my report so i initiated a request for my information that they have and are reporting and for 6 months and ************************************* and state they cant find my file. When shopping for auto insurance policies with my fiance, insurance companies checking our driver records found an open claim against me/my vehicle dated to 12/22/24. On this date, I was verifiably out of the country and my car safely parked in a secure garage. The insurance agent informed me that LexisNexis had reported the claim to them, and advised me to contact LexisNexis to file a dispute. On Jan 28th, I called LexisNexis to begin this process only to be told that they were unable to verify my identity after I gave them my driver's license number, social security number, and date of birth. I needed to email them a photo of my driver's license. A week later, I received a snail-mailed letter informing me that my identity still could not be verified. This process repeated two times over the course of the next month. In late February, a represantative did a manual override of the verification process and informed me that my dispute was being processed. Each time, I was assigned a new customer number and new case number. On March 17th, I received another mailed letter informing me that my dispute was "unverifiable" and providing a copy of my report. The report contains information for several vehicles and drivers that I am not affiliated with in any way, including random people who live in the same apartment complex as me. LexisNexis is making the process of contacting them and disputing my information unreasonably difficult, and has failed to provide any explanation as to why these things are on my report.

LexisNexis did reach out to me over the phone yesterday regarding my complaint, and put me through the whole verification process again, only for me to receive an email this morning stating that my identity, as usual, "cannot be verified". For reference, I gave them my full name, date of birth, current valid driver's license number, and social security number. Their response is not satisfactory and my complaint has not been resolved.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

LexisNexis has been responding to my BBB complaint with an automated response stating that they have contacted me directly to resolve the issue. This is NOT true. I am only receiving similar automated messages directing me to call a phone number that, when called, does not connect me to a representative, it only instructs me to order my consumer report on their website. I requested to have email communications with them in order to maintain a record of events. I have not received any information or help from them since that request, except several identical automated emails described above. In my last email to them, I informed them that I will be seeking legal aid if I cannot communicate with a human representative and get my report corrected.

I am filing a formal complaint against LexisNexis for their continued unauthorized and inaccurate reporting of a bankruptcy on my consumer report. I have already provided proof that this bankruptcy was reported without my permission or the permission of the actual furnisher, yet LexisNexis continues to unlawfully retain and disseminate this false information.Violations of Federal Law:LexisNexis is in clear violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681b of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which regulates the permissible purposes for obtaining and furnishing consumer reports. At no point have I authorized LexisNexis to furnish or retain a consumer report about me, nor have I consented to the collection, storage, or dissemination of any of my personal or financial data.Additionally, LexisNexis is violating:15 U.S.C. 1681e(b) Duty to maintain accurate consumer reports.15 U.S.C. 1681c Prohibition on reporting outdated or unverifiable information.15 U.S.C. 1681b(a)(2) & (3) Requirement for permissible purpose before obtaining or furnishing a report.*****-*****-****** Act (GLBA), 15 U.S.C. ********* Unlawful retention and use of personal, private, and financial data.LexisNexis Unlawful ***************** to Act I have filed multiple complaints with the **** regarding this issue. I am filing this complaint due to LexisNexis Risk Solutions reporting an inaccurate bankruptcy (case #*******) in my credit file. Their letter dated 3/3/2025 (******************) claims the case was verified via PACER, but my search on PACER Case Locator using case #******* and my name, ****** ******* ******* *****, returned an error: "An invalid case number was entered." I have also contacted PACER, as evidenced by the attached image, yet I have not seen the supposed response PACER provided to LexisNexis. This proves the case does not exist, violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681e(b)), which mandates maximum accuracy. LexisNexis is selling this false data to other bureaus without my authorization, constituting ongoing fraud. I have filed a report with the *** (Report Number *********) for this misconduct. To make matters worse, their verification process is utterly inefficient, as my evidence shows, and fails to protect my federal and state consumer rights. I demand they provide concrete proofbeyond a mere assertionthat case #******* exists and is linked to my name. I demand immediate removal of this bankruptcy record from their bankruptcy records and, above all, that they stop selling my inaccurate information to other bureaus. I also demand an end to automated responses. Failure to comply will strengthen the evidence for my legal case against them.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.

For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.? We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.??

And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.
