This is ridiculous! I posted a front desk job what I thought was under a free posting. I have been offline for the past few days only to return to multiple invoices of VERY large amounts, with a total of ***** dollars!!! I am outraged that there is no customer service phone number. As I am reading through the large amount of unhappy customers that have also been blindsided by this companies lack of communication.Business Response

I posted 2 jobs on Indeed.com. I did not realize that I was signed up for a subscription advertising campaign by default. I figured it out quickly when I got a **** for $770. I immediately cancelled all subscriptions, but there is no way to cancel my credit card. They have continued to vacuum money out of my account for the next 3 days. I haven't cancelled my entire account yet because I am waiting for them to contact me back. To solve the problem, I contacted my bank and cancelled my debit card. I expect to get my money back for the invoices that were accrued after the cancelled subscriptions. Indeed is blackmailing customers, their process is not clear, and cancelling subscriptions is hard. I had to look up online tutorials on how to extricate myself from them! And it did not work because they still vacuumed another $1500 out of my bank account! Indeed is insisting businesses to attach a mobile number to their account on indeed. We have no business mobile numbers to apply to account. In order to use indeed to hire new employees my options are to use either a) my own personal mobile number to attach to a business account, or b) forced to obtain and maintain a business mobile number strictly for indeed. With small businesses struggling, this is a wasteful expense. I contacted indeed and all they did was take off the business land line number off the account only to be booted off and told by the platform after logging in, that I need to add a mobile number and verify the account. Did not resolve my issue and they didnt offer any useful alternative. ****** sends post cards to the business address with a code and you have to call from the business land line to verify as an option when you claim your ****** page. This is a viable solution in my opinion.Business Response

This complaint is in regard to INDEED. The job seeing platform. We are a client that posts jobs in their platform. My main and only complaint is in regard to their possible fraudulent billing system.Indeed is NOT upfront with client on how they ****. They've made it a maze and have put many barriers to complicate getting answers for what we were billed for. I believe an investigation should be done on this company. They leave it open to charge more than what the client has selected. In our case, we capped the amount that we'd like to pay per application to $10, however, they charged us $15 per application stating it was due to "the current market conditions". How can this be permitted? This is very sketchy and should be investigated.Business Response

I emailed the client directly to explain how our *** pricing model works and how the *** can change when a position is paused and reopened. I provided links to the performance report that shows the spend for each position. I provided a refund for the unintended spend and a promotional credit for future spend. I educated the client on how to set up a *** budget and informed them no future refunds will be granted as this is the second refund on the account. Attached is our email thread.
As the billing has been adjusted, I consider this issue resolved.

I used a free trail service on indeed and I cancelled the free trail before it ended but I was still charged on my credit card USD ******. To clarify, the charges accrued as the "PT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - TFORCE FREIGHT" job was open and sponsored beyond the free trial, which lasted from June 21st-June 24th. The job was open until June 27th so any additional applications after the free trial were charged through. As a one-time courtesy, we have approved a refund for the balance of $268.63 when the balance clears on a valid card. This balance is currently overdue, please update the card on file so the charge can clear and we can refund in full. Indeed customer services didnt care about Scam jobs on their website which is very scary and irritated since they didnt care when I told them that my information now out there. they need to remove all scam jobs off their website because theres me and people are looking for REAL JOBS. its very irritated because I have bills to PAY. Half these jobs are scams. How do I know when a real company reached to me and telling that was not them. Which is very scary because I gave that person my information and they were using ID.me. Indeed.com for employers does not clearly establish their pricing model and thus charged me 700 dollars ($200 after I had already cancelled my subscription) and I still received very few applicants of merit. INDEED.COM is a SCAM COMPANY. I posted one job on Indeed.com that ran for 7 days. After the 7 days, to my shock, I received 2 charges. One in the amount of $1470.00 and the other in the amount of $1050.00 I called Indeed.com and complained of the charges. A woman put me on hold (said she needed to speak to her manager). She came back and said they would take care of all the charges except for $500.$500 for ONE job posting that resulted in no good candidates? This is insanity. I told her I don't accept that offer and that after reading other BBB reviews and Trust Pilot reviews I'm now well aware that Indeed.com is a scam company. She put me on hold again for a while. Came back and said her manager "just went into a meeting" (how convenient) and they would send me an email with their decision on a full refund. I told her again that this is unacceptable. I told her that she must be well aware that she's working for a scam company and that I am not playing this game with her. She agreed to give me a full refund and the phone call ended. However, I was NOT refunded. I still have the charges in my credit card which I've disputed. I have used indeed.com twice in the past and was charged a small, reasonable fee for the post. Now, they have changed their business practices and pre-select tricky and ludicrous options for you that no rational human being would ever agree to. Such as, that I will pay $30 per applicant?? If you don't catch this, you will be charged. I want everyone to be aware that indeed.com is not the company they once were. Avoid them like the plague.Business Response

Indeed, keeps calling me pushing me to upsell even though I have talked to various reps in the last few months explaining that we have a budget for the amount we can spend on online ads as we use various job placement websites we use. I have told them various times to place me on the NO CALL LIST. They keep calling about upselling, and I'm so tired of it. Also, the website now ask's me every time I sign in to add my mobile number. I am manager at a business. I refuse to use my personal number for an employer ad. Indeed, used to be good. I have used them for years and never had issues in the past.
