      Still not in my home after hurricane *****. Was asked to leave the hotel I was staying at due to prior reservations. Anyhow, the Oyo lobby is nasty, the front desk man was laying on the couch like he was at home. When I gave my **** information he put it in his phone to text to the owner. It never matched up, took that as an opportunity to LEAVE!!!

      Overbooked was not able to check into a room when I had already paid for it. They stole my money and told me theyd get back to me in 48 hours and I havent been able to talk to a real person since. Ive been calling for days and getting hung up on.

      I have the same complaint with them - I called and asked for a refund because they had no power after hurricane ****** for 1 day - I left and checked out - they gave me the run around saying that they didn't have a power issue - when the whole city of ******** was without power - they told me I have to prove it, in order for it to be escalated. They then gave me a bogus email address to send my proof to. I found one, but it was to ***** and they just told me to find the one for my country. But it is not listed anywhere - only the one to *****. They are bad - stay away from them. I called my credit card company and they are looking into it.

      This place is a joke. They steal your money even after promising a refund. I have called numerous times to get a refund and they replied with, We regret to inform you that upon checking, we found that the reservation was canceled outside the cancellation policy and as per the hotel policy refund is not applicable for this booking. So we are unable to help you with the refund.I was in a car accident and was not able to make it to the hotel which was 50 mins from my location. I reached back out and told them that the manager of the location I booked the nights stay said he would confirm the refund when the dispute team reached out to him. Im seeing other reviews with similar issues of not receiving a refund and its disgusting how money hungry this company is. It feels like a scam especially having to endure the effects of Hurricane ****** on top of everything else.

      This hotel is dirty, prior client razor left in shower, mold on shower grout, room had an oder to it when we walked in. The sliding glass door wouldnt lock closed a they claimed I smoked in their room a charging me extra 500 dollars an Ive never smoked anything a day in my life. I was still asleep at the time their smoke sensors allegedly recorded smoke in the room, my sliding glass door was open all night an at time they claim there was smoke detected. They overcharged my credit card above a beyond price of refundable deposit a room cost. I waited around three hours to speak to a ****, who was supposed to be in charge of hotel reservations in which she was supposed to be there at 11am, then by 1pm . Upon leaving at almost 2pm to head home I requested to speak to next person in charge to resolve this issue an employees continued to tell me there was no one I could speak to to resolve this issue. My bank card was charged ****** for a 20 dollar room that ended up totaling 73 dollars after all taxes an fees plus refundable 300 deposit, in which does not add up to 429. I made every available effort to resolve this issue before I had to head back to ********** but could not be in contact with anyone involved with hotel to resolve. This absolutely has been my worst experience in ********* ever an I do not believe I will ever return there, I will never recommend any anyone ever go to ***** or oyo hotel for as long as I live. At this point I dont even know what this hotel for be charging on my bank card for final payment due to this unresolved issue. I will definitely be talking with legal counsel regarding this situation when I get home

      This review regards Sonrise Inn ******* Hwy By OYO at **********, ********. Stay away from this place, these people are frauds. My friend and I booked a room from 08/27 to 08/28 through *********** and we decided to pay cash at the hotel. They took the cash and right after we left they charged our bank account for a no show. They cant say we were not there when they have a copy of my friends ID. I tried to reach them numerous times but they kept telling me to call when the manager is there. I called to ask for the manager they hung up on me. Its not only that they are scammers but the hotel itself is nasty as well.

      We stayed at this establishment and ********, ********** After checking into our hotel, there was people in the back area doing drugs. The inside of the hotel was dirty holes in the wall lights didnt work in half of the room towels had brown stains on them The outside walkway had stuff piled on. It looks like it hadnt been swept in months. The doorways had bags of concrete and buckets and cleaning supplies. we slept for about five hours and then there was something loud going on outside so we left and went down to the lobby to try and make a complaint and let them know what was going on. The doors were locked with a note on the door stating there was an emergency, but they did give a number to contact but at that point we were just like we want to get out of here. It was an extremely sketchy place. ..

      Price gouching during hurricane beyrl. We called Thursday and was quoted ****** for 3 nights. We called back on Saturday and we're quoted ****** for the same 3 nights. Each time we were also told there is only 1 room left and we must book now.

      Horrible customer service. Manager is always out of town regardless of day or time you call. Don't even bother trying their customer service email address as they will just disregard your email regardless how many times you follow up. I will never stay at another Oyo hotel in my life again.

      I had a room booked for a 2 night stay at the *** Airport Inn Hotel in ***************** from 6/6/24 to 6/8/24. My husband had a seizure on our way to the hotel and we were forced to stay at a hospital on what would of been our first night of the stay. I did call the hotel to let them know and asked that the room be held as we would still be arriving for the second night. I was assured that the room would be there. When we arrived the next day, the room had been rented out and there were no clean and available rooms to be had as they had already rented the room we had paid for before arriving to someone else. I was assured by the hotel manager that upon contacting ***, my money would be returned. After several (7 or 8) attempts, by phone, email, and chat, no one has even bothered to contact me and not a single cent has been returned. The whole experience is nothing short of theft. The hotel it's self was severely run down, the room that was under construction that we were allowed to see had obvious signs of bed bugs and visible mold growing on the walls. I am seriously considering filing a class action lawsuit for the systematic fleecing of the poor and ****.
