I used progressive leasing to purchase a washer and dryer from a business called Appliances connection. I was told by the trucking company that appliances connection were not paying their bills and may be filing bankruptcy. They advised me they can it deliver my items and most likely,I'll never receive them. I have called progressive multiple times to have them cancel the contract and explain the situation. I was told by multiple representatives that it was being escalated to have it canceled by leadership. However,on multiple occasions I was hung up on and the reps were very rude. Also,they took money out of my bank account and refuse to refund me even though I never received my delivery. I have to call several times and at times I've been on hold for an hour only to be disconnected. They are extremely unprofessional and I'll never do business with them again. I want my refund and aso want the contract to be canceled as I never received any goods from my purchase. No one is doing anything to resolve my issue.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I have been told several times someone in management would contact me regarding my issue. No on ever calls me back. Also when I call in ,I'm on hold for over an hour every time and have to listen to that miserable hold music. I want this contract canceled as I will never receive my merchandise. That company is closing!!! If this isn't resolved asap, I will consult with my attorney and explore other options

Progressive Leasing uses deceptive advertising changes contracts payment dates and amounts to people on ssi knowing they agreed to a different date as well attempted to charge us within 26 days of initial purchase after paying 30 days on the third than due to this i revoked ach access to handle them differently they refuse to answer phone keep calling and hanging up and changed an agreed upon amount to dodge an ach transfer thus commiting fraud i am seeking the bbb help as well as i notifed the ftc and will be calling irs as well as local police as i put a stop payment and revoked authorization so they have no business in my account nor is it legal to change agreed amount to duck an ach block this is 100% illegalBusiness Response

I've reached out to progressive leasing several times via phone and also via email. No one has returned my call. I am trying to set up the 90 day same as cash option. On 11/25/2023 I ordered a Kitchen Aid dishwasher from Lowes thru Progressive Leasing. I ordered the dishwasher by telephone. The dishwasher was delivered to my home on Monday 11/27/2023. The dishwasher was leaking water has it was coming into my home. I asked the delivered guy why was the dishwasher leaking water. He said that they had to check to make sure it worked. Well, that was a bold face lie because the dishwasher did not work. It was professionally installed the same day and would not run any of the cycles. Lowes gave me a used dishwasher and Progressive Leasing charging me full price for a used dishwasher. I called Lowes customer service number they informed me that my ordered number was nowhere in the system. She informed me that she could not help me. I tried calling Progressive Leasing several times I was hold for over 45 minutes every time. Never could get anyone on the phone for over 5 days. So I called Kitchen Aid to informed them about the dishwasher not working and they scheduled appointment for 12/06/2023. The tech came out and he had to replace the vent on the dishwasher. It worked for 2 weeks and now it back broke again. Tech from Kitchen Aid came out again on 02/05/2024 and now the dishwasher needs additional parts because it won’t dry dishes and only runs one cycle. Contacted Progressive Leasing on Monday 02/05/2024 to inform them on what has been going on. The customer service representative informed me to email ****************************** in order to get a refund and called back in 30 minutes. Well I emailed them on Tuesday 02/06/2024 and called them on 02/07/2024. The customer service representative informed me that it was not their fault and then hang up in my face. I called back and waited another 30 minutes to speak with a supervisor. I’m paying for dishwasher that has never worked plus it was used.Business Response

I bought a few things through Best Buy and a computer to totaling half of this lease was returned. I was not credited taxes that I had paid on several payments and was told they do not credit tax. Furthermore, the tax rate is way higher than our local tax rate. I get that its a lease but no business has the right to charge and keep taxes that are not owed and the tax rates should match the address or state in which the purchase occurred. I know this is illegal and the irs will be my next contact. It is a shame because I have bought a lot through this program and the gentleman today was rude and could not explain anything other than I wont get credited back the tax. The item ordered from *********************, a Men's two tone bracelet, under lease ID ********, appears lost/stolen. I've been trying to reach someone at Progressive Leasing to file dispute, last call was made today 1/23, was on hold for over twenty minutes, no one picked up call, unable to file dispute. The item was shipped via ***** with tracking ID ************, shows signed for by RTAYLOR, in which case, I never sign my name like this and package is nowhere to be found. Zelle payments totalling $2,100 were made to the ****************************************, which paid for item, was told financing was needed to pay remainder, $2,050.00, in which case, price appears to be grossly inflated, this merchant has negative reviews which I read about after doing research, subsequent to transaction, detailing their inflated prices. Based on information provided here, I wish to dispute this transaction with Prigressive leasing , request them to cease and desist from collection activity.Business Response

When signing in through Progressive Leasing app, an old lease is showing as past due, a lease from ***************************. This lease was cancelled/close out by a Progressive rep several months ago, in February I believe. ********************* used Progressive incorrectly, used their services to pay for an item in partial, not in full as their services are intended. A Progressive rep, whom I do not have name of, agreed to close out lease, refund deposit made, due to fact ********************* used it incorrectly. However, it appears the account is still showing, even past due. I request account removed. They're refusing me access to my account online. I can't create an account and I can't reset the password with the email I've set it up with before. I can't see what I owe, I can't pay it. On January 3 **** Progressive Leasing agreed to defer my payment that was due January 5th to January 19th (I would make a double payment). On 11 January **** Progressive Leasing called me to advise that my account was past due and requesting I make a payment. I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm in 05/2023 and I was told by the salesman to put down the money I wanted and then split the next 5 payments into equal amounts and NOT to do a 12-month lease with Progressive Leasing as Progressive Leasing WILL CHARGE DOUBLE THE **** PRICE. I told Progressive Leasing, I wanted to put $200 as the first payment and then pay $142.05 for 5 months. Even though there was a technical issue in September of 2023 on Progressive Leasings' end, I should have paid my mattress off by December of 2023. Also in June had to buy a refrigerator from Lowes, and I did the same thing as I did with the mattress. The first refrigerator payment was to be $200 and the next 5 payments were supposed to be ****** and even though there was a technical issue with Progressive Leasing in September of 2023, I should have had the refrigerator paid off as of January of ****. I have now paid $2360. and have overpaid by at LEAST $660.05. I want a REFUND of $660.05, and I WILL HAVE MY BANK FREEZE ANY FUTURE CHARGES FROM PROGRESSIVE LEASING FROM HERE ON OUT AS THESE ITEMS ARE PAID OFF, PER MY OVER-THE-***** AGREEMENT FOR A 6-month TERM FOR EACH ITEM. I expect a REFUND of $660.05 ASAP. I did already make a report of this with the *** as there is a pending settlement of $175 million with the *** for Progressive Leasing's actions that are similar to mine. Progressive Leasing was told not to do this to people anymore and they continue as I am a case in point. They are in breach of contract that was made over the phone. A REFUND of $660.05 is the ONLY acceptable solution. To Progressive Leasing - Do not try to report to the ************* that I didn't finish my payments as my mattress and refrigerator are completely paid for. Progressive Leasing is not accredited with the BBB... WHY NOT? As many bad reviews as I have read Progressive Leasing should have an F grade with the BBB.Business Response
