I have had multiple leases with Progressive Leasing and they all have been paid within 90days. I currently has a lease which I did the usual. The way their system works is when you apply for a lease agreement you automatically are enrolled in a 12 month purchase option. Once the lease is approved you contact customer service and change the agreement to the 90 day purchase option if that is what you'd like. Again, I have had probably more than 4-5 leases with Progressive so I am familiar with their process. Once my lease was approved I contacted customer service and I changed the 12 month purchase option to a 90 day purchase option. My first payment is not due until April 13th but on the app it reflects two late payments. I contacted customer service and the *** named ***** (would not give me an employee id number) deflected the entire concern and told me to disregard the late payments. I asked for a supervisor or manager and she said her supervisor was in a meeting. My account should not be in "past due" status when it is NOT past due!Business Response

I used progressive leasing for a lease to own program.I received a letter stating payments will start in May.I have not yet received the ordered item, the website I ordered the item from says they will not have stock until mid June at the earliest.The letter stated that if I have not yet received the merchandise I should contact their customer support team.I called them and got connected with a representative.The representative says that I did not order the item.Does this not mean that they have no reason to charge me?I do not understand how this is possible if I didnt order the item that has yet to be shipped.Business Response

ID # ******** I placed an order through Progressive leasing on December 6th, 2024. I ordered a bedframe that I have only gotten half of the parts for. The box is clearly labeled 1 of 2. I contacted bed bath and beyond for help with the missing parts and haven't heard back. Yet, despite the fact that I called to inform progressive leasing BEFORE the first payment was due that I hadn't received everything, they still took a payment from me. I have since gotten the money back, but they have now signed me up for a debt relief program? When I've made it very clear I haven't received the merchandise. Per their policy, no payments are due until you get your things. They called this morning attempting to get money from me for something I do not have. Not sure what else to do. I was told the time i originally called before the first payment that I don't owe until I have my things.Business Response

My father had a plan or a lease with this company I made the HUGE mistake apparently of going down the list and letting all his creditors know that he has passed away. Out of what I would say 8 creditor progressive Leasing has been the biggest pain in my life. I reported that he had passed And they had asked for the death certificate I sent it to them then had to wait and call back thats when the REAL issue progressed they told me that I HAD to sign this form declaration of something stating who I was to the deceased and what my address was and my phone number and I corrected the representative and said 1st off I didn't HAVE TO do anything I didn't HAVE to call but I did so I didn't appreciate getting told what I HAD to do. Then I got the email from the back office and it had the form and their condolences I told them I will NOT be signing anything as they have the death certificate and they can get all the information from that death certificate. And I asked very nicely if they could stop bothering me that was last month and now I'm getting yet another email stating that I NEED to sign the form. I was just making a phone call to let you know but now it's almost 2 months and they are still bothering me. If I would never had called them they would have never knew. I am not responsible for any of the bills he was of sound mind and everything but honestly PROGRESSIVE LEASING are the ONLY CREDITOR that is doing this. Loans that he had are not reaching out to me and they had my phone on file so they have just let it go because they had said when I get around to it to send it to them and I did it was a little bit but they know they RESPECTED my family privacy and gave us time to get everything I had also stated that there is NO money property I was literally just making my phone calls credit don't have you fill out anything in NEVER had to do that form with anyone else. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Progressive Leasing regarding an unfair and financially burdensome situation I am currently facing. I initially entered into a lease-to-own agreement to purchase a couch for approximately $1,249.70, believing this to be a manageable payment plan. However, despite having already paid more than the original cost of the item, payments continue to be withdrawn from my checking account every two weeks, with no clear end in sight. This ongoing financial obligation has become an overwhelming strain, especially as my income has drastically decreased due to the rising costs of basic necessities. I am now in a position where these continued deductions are forcing me into further financial hardship, making it difficult to afford essential expenses such as rent, utilities, and groceries.I am pleading for Progressive Leasing to show compassion and fairness by canceling the remainder of my contract, considering that I have already paid an amount exceeding the original purchase price, approximately $2,431.95. At this point, these ongoing withdrawals are not just financially crippling but also unjust, given that my initial obligation has been fulfilled in good faith. I urge you to reconsider my situation with empathy and understanding, as allowing these payments to continue would only push me deeper into financial distress. I am requesting immediate action to terminate this agreement and cease further deductions, ensuring that I can regain control of my finances and prioritize my essential living expenses. 03/10/2025 I filled out an application. They asked that I send in bank statements, and a bank verification form. So, the next day I got all the requested forms and faxed them to Progressive Leasing. I went to **** *** on 3/4 filed for a account with progressive lending came back approved cistomer service rep stated I’d was verified picked out my items got my text completed my signed document all was good then there was a time out error processing my payment on their end at I went back to do the payment again and it wouldn’t work called the line that stated to call to pay they couldn’t find the account asked for a supervisor I was denied she disconnected the call called back the rep ate the store tried to tell them to she they are very rude said I will get a email to verify on 2-5 days asked for a supervisor never got one called again today as I keep getting email saying I’m good to go to the store I go and then it still not fixed they are scammers and liarBusiness Response

Greetings, my name is ****** *****. I’m reaching out because I have a lease with your company Progressive. My account yes is over due. I admit that. Yet, I contacted your customer service in January and was able to come to a solution. Then I contacted your customer service team on March 3, 2025 at 9:08 AM EST and was told that progressive leasing was concerned about my account. After waiting on hold for more than 10 monies and no one responded, I hung up. No one contacted me back, not even the supervisor I asked to speak with. I’m filing this complaint for help with my account. I just wanted to defer a payment to the end of my lease so that I could catch up. Yet I was treated as if I did something wrong and that I shouldn’t have been behind. Then left on hold as if I don’t have anything else to do with my life. The young man spoke to me in a tone as if I didn’t want to pay it as if I shouldn’t be allowed grace! I’ve had 3 other leases with your company. I’m just dealing with hard times at the moment. Could someone please help me with this situation? I would like the payment for the month of March in the amount of $457.74 deferred to the end of the lease.Business Response
